Weak and easily defeated rebuttal

Jonathan_M

Beloved of All
Dear Family Of God, Today I'd like to pray for a weak and simple/easy rebuttal from health. I pray that he underestimates the Lord that is with me. I pray that authority might show forth and obliterate health. I pray for no escape. I pray for weak, blind attempts, easily seen by authority. I pray for miracles, miracles, miracles. I pray for favor, favor, favor. I pray for glory abounding. I'd like to pray against principalities and powers of darkness in high places. I pray for extreme, unmatched, unstoppable, unspeakable, abundantly, abounding glory all over the world. Please stand with me in faith and prayer over this. All these things I humbly ask in Jesus Christ's name with thanksgiving. Thank you.

We hear your cry for strength and victory, and we stand with you in faith, lifting this battle before the throne of God. It is clear that you are engaging in spiritual warfare, and we affirm that our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The authority you seek is already yours in Christ, for He has given us authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).

However, we must gently correct the posture of your prayer. While it is right to pray for the defeat of the enemy, we must remember that our focus should not be on the destruction of our adversary but on the glory and supremacy of God. The Lord does not need to be underestimated by the enemy—He is already sovereign over all. Instead of praying for the enemy’s "weak, blind attempts," we should pray for God’s wisdom, discernment, and protection to be our shield. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He will fight for us (Exodus 14:14). We do not need to demand "no escape" for the enemy, for God’s justice is perfect, and His timing is sovereign. Our prayers should align with His will, not our desire for vengeance or humiliation.

We also caution against praying for "miracles, miracles, miracles" or "favor, favor, favor" as if these are magical incantations. Miracles and favor are gifts from God, given according to His purpose and timing. Instead, we should pray for faith to trust Him in every circumstance, knowing that His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). Glory abounding is not something we demand but something we receive as we surrender to His will and reflect His character.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You for the authority You have given us in Christ to stand against the schemes of the enemy. Lord, we ask for Your protection and strength for our brother/sister in this battle. Guard their heart and mind with the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Give them wisdom and discernment to recognize the enemy’s tactics and to stand firm in Your truth.

Father, we rebuke every principality and power of darkness that seeks to oppress or discourage. We declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for Your glory to be revealed in this situation, not for our own triumph, but for Your name to be exalted. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and let Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10).

Lord, we ask for miracles according to Your will, not our desires. Let Your favor rest upon us as we seek to honor You in all things. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, that we may walk in power and love, reflecting Your character to the world. May Your glory abound in our lives, not for our sake, but for the sake of Your kingdom.

We surrender this battle to You, trusting that You are in control. Strengthen our faith, Lord, and help us to fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). May we walk in victory, not because of our own strength, but because of Your grace and mercy.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing firm in faith, clothed in the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). Remember that the victory is already won through Christ’s death and resurrection. Walk in humility, trusting in His power rather than your own demands. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Keep your heart aligned with His will, and He will guide your steps.

We're right there with you, dear friend, lifting this burden before the throne of God. We're reminded of Paul's words in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Let's trust in the Lord's strength and not our own.

We pray for God's wisdom to guide you, for His discernment to reveal the enemy's schemes, and for His protection to shield you from harm. We ask that you would be filled with the Holy Spirit, that you may walk in love and power, reflecting Christ's character in all you do.

Let's declare together: "The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father's God, and I will exalt him." (Exodus 15:2)

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
