Heavenly Father, thank You that You are our God and Saviour. Thank You for the grace You have shown to us and to all who trust in Christ for salvation. We pray for Your people, Israel... that many would repent and turn to Christ by trusting in His shed blood for the forgiveness of sins and life everlasting - to Whom be all honour and glory, forever and ever, AMEN.

We join with you in this beautiful and urgent prayer for Israel and we say amen to your heart's cry that many would repent and turn to Christ by trusting in His shed blood for the forgiveness of sins and life everlasting.

We are deeply encouraged by your intercession, for Scripture calls us to this very prayer. We are told in Psalm 122:6 to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and in Romans 10:1 we hear the apostle's own heart, Brothers, my heart's desire and my prayer to God is for Israel, that they may be saved. We know that God's covenant love for Israel remains and His mercy is still extended, yet we also know there is no other way of salvation for Jew or Gentile except through Jesus Christ alone, for Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6.

You asked about the Bread of Heaven and the Word of Life and whether Jesus is the Word of God, and we affirm together that He is. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1 and The Word became flesh, and lived among us. John 1:14 He Himself said, I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will not be hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty. John 6:35 So to trust in His shed blood is to receive the true Bread from heaven and the living Word who alone can give eternal life.

We love how you have prayed through Isaiah 30:18, for that verse reveals the very heart of our God toward His people even in times of rebellion and waiting. Therefore Yahweh will wait, that he may be gracious to you; and therefore he will be exalted, that he may have mercy on you, for Yahweh is a God of justice. Blessed are all those who wait for him. Isaiah 30:18 This is our hope, that the Lord is not slow but is waiting to show mercy, rising up to show compassion, and His justice and His mercy meet perfectly at the cross. We too wait patiently for Him, trusting that He will fulfill His promise that so all Israel will be saved even as it is written, There will come out of Zion the Deliverer, and he will turn away ungodliness from Jacob. Romans 11:26

We pray together now, Heavenly Father, thank You that You are our God and Saviour and that Your grace has been shown to us and to all who trust in Christ for salvation. Thank You that You are a God of justice and mercy, waiting to be gracious and exalted to show compassion. We lift up Your people Israel before Your throne and ask that You would open eyes that are blinded and soften hearts, that many would repent and turn to Jesus Your Son, believing in His shed blood for the complete forgiveness of sins and receiving life everlasting. Draw them to the true Bread of Heaven, to the living Word, that they may know Yeshua as Messiah and Lord. Cause them to wait patiently for You and to find blessedness in trusting You. We ask this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ, to whom be all honour and glory forever and ever, amen.

Our waiting is not wasted time, it is staying close to a God who is just and faithful while He works in ways we cannot yet see.

The prophet saith, Therefore the Lord is waiting to show you mercy, and is rising up to show you compassion, for the Lord is a just God. Happy are all who wait patiently for Him. What a word is this, that the just God waiteth to be gracious, and that our waiting upon Him is not in vain.

You do well to pray that many would repent and turn to Christ by trusting in His shed blood for the forgiveness of sins and life everlasting, for there is no other salvation. Jesus Christ alone is a complete and all sufficient foundation for faith. We rest not upon our prayers or our repentance, but upon Jesus Christ crucified, who was set forth to be a propitiation for sin, and who is all our salvation from first to last, of God's planning and providing and applying.

Take care to know what true repentance is, for there is a repentance which does not give Him glory, born only of excitement or of awful fear, which hath no submission, no faith, no love in it. True repentance and faith are inseparable and come into the soul together. That is the repentance which bringeth salvation which rejoices in Jesus crucified, loves Christ, trusts Him, and leaves the soul in His hands. Faith means trust in Christ, a consciousness of being lost in ourselves and found in Him. As one hath said, Lord, sink me low as hell in repentance, but lift me high as heaven in faith.

So continue to wait patiently for Him, and to plead His promise for His ancient people and for all who yet need His grace. He will perfect that which concerneth His people. None of His salvation is a passing thing, but a divine salvation from top to bottom, sure and abiding, wrapped up in the gift of the person of Jesus Christ. May the Lord grant to many in Israel and to many among us that living faith which shows itself in obedience and holiness, and which leaps for joy at the thought that God hath pardoned sin through the blood of His Son. Your prayer for Israel is good and right, and it is pleasing to God who desires mercy for all. To ask that many would repent and turn to Christ, trusting in His shed blood for the forgiveness of sins and life everlasting, is to ask according to His own will, for there is no other hope of salvation except in Christ alone.

The prophet speaks truly when he says the Lord is waiting to show you mercy and rising up to show you compassion, for the Lord is a just God. Happy are all who wait patiently for Him. This shows us the heart of God. He does not turn away quickly, but waits, long suffering, giving time for repentance. And He calls us also to wait with patience and hope, trusting not in ourselves or in ancestry or in any other claim, but in His grace. Hope is confidence in things to come, and patience belongs to those who endure and trust Him while they wait.

Repentance is the way this mercy is received. It is not only sorrow or tears alone, but a true turning of the heart that is washed clean. When we have stained our life, we are not to sleep in that stain, but to wash it away continually by repentance, by tears, by prayers, and by works of mercy. God in His love has marked out innumerable ways of salvation for those willing to attend, and He has given us a throne of grace to which we may come boldly in due season to find mercy and help. Now is the accepted time to seek Him.

So continue to pray with this hope. Pray that God would grant to His people Israel, and to all people, godly sorrow that works repentance unto salvation, a contrite heart, humility, and faith in the one sacrifice by which Christ has perfected forever those who are sanctified. Pray that they would know the patience of Christ and endure, and that they would find grace in time of need.
