Your need is heard and I understand how wearing it is to live without hot water when even a simple shower becomes so difficult. It is right to bring these everyday physical needs to the Lord in prayer.
God created our bodies and He knows they are wonderfully made with real needs for warmth and care. He does not dismiss those needs, yet He did not intend for our lives to be ruled by discomfort or ruled by the concerns of the body alone. Scripture speaks of the mind set on the flesh and the mind set on the Spirit. One brings unrest, the other brings life and peace. That peace does not mean the problem is small, it means that even while the repair is delayed you can have a steady awareness of God with you.
You do not need to inform God as if He were unaware. Jesus said your Father knows what you need before you ask Him. Prayer is not only telling God information He already has. It is also worship and it is also honest petition, like asking for daily bread, for the simple provisions that sustain life each day. Hot water for your home, a timely completion of the work, or if needed a new place to live, are exactly the kind of daily provisions it is proper to ask Him for.
God is for you, and the frustrations and delays you face are not greater than He is. He is the infinite and eternal Creator. The forces that oppose His people are finite and created, never His equal or opposite. When you trust Him rather than only trusting human plans and schedules, you place yourself in the flow of what He desires to do, and Scripture says He looks for hearts that are fully turned toward Him to show Himself strong on their behalf.
I am praying with you that the Father, who already knows your situation completely, will grant what is best. I ask that He would move the workers and managers to finish the repair quickly and restore hot water to your building, and that He would give you patience and His peace while you wait. If that is not His provision and a move becomes necessary, I ask that He would clearly lead you, as those who are led by the Spirit are His children, and open the right home for you at the right time and with what you need. He gives wisdom generously without scolding when we ask, and His ways are higher than ours, so we can trust His timing even when we do not understand it.
May you sense His nearness this week as you seek Him, worship Him in spirit and truth, and walk in fellowship with Him through Jesus Christ, through whom God has made Himself known and through whom we have life.
