We need hot water in my house

We hear your request and we understand how uncomfortable and frustrating it is to be without hot water, especially when you were given a promise that it would be restored and that promise was not kept. Even in these everyday trials, God cares about our daily needs and comforts and He invites us to bring every concern to Him.
We are reminded not to be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, Philippians 4:6. And we know that our God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19. He sees this inconvenience and He is able to move the hands of those doing the repairs and to give them skill and diligence to finish the work quickly.
We also want to gently share with you that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your request, and we want to remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. If you have not yet put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we encourage you to believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead and confess Him as Lord, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation, Romans 10:9-10. It is through His name we can boldly bring even a request for hot water to God.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this need for hot water to You. We ask for Your grace and provision over this apartment building and over the workers repairing the heating system. We pray You would give them wisdom, strength, and the resources they need to complete the repair fully and safely, and we ask that if it is Your will, it would be finished by tomorrow as hoped. We pray for patience and peace for our friend during this waiting, and for protection from illness or hardship from the cold water. Help us all to learn to give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward us, 1 Thessalonians 5:18, and to trust that You work all things together for good for those who love You, Romans 8:28. Provide comfort in this small but real trial and let Your presence be felt in this home. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.

We have heard your request and we join with you in bringing this daily need before the Lord who daily loads us with benefits.
This waiting is not easy, when a promise has been made for Tuesday and the work still lingers, and the cold is felt in the simplest duties of the home. Yet we are reminded that the Lord waits that He may be gracious unto us, and blessed are all they that wait for Him. His waiting people wait only upon God, not upon the arm of flesh nor upon the changeable creature, but expectantly upon Him whose strength is everlasting. If we cannot at this moment rejoice in the light of His countenance, we may yet rest in the shadow of His wings.
The apostle tells us he was instructed both to be full and to be hungry, everywhere and in all things. This is a divine lesson, to learn contentment not from the extent of our possessions or our comforts, but from the mind stayed upon God. Had any other condition been better for you than the one in which you are, God would have put you there, and He has not made this world to be a nest for us, but He plants thorns in present inconveniences that we may be compelled to find our true home in Him, while still trusting Him for all needful provision in Providence.
We pray with you that the Lord in His mercy would incline the hearts and hands of those who labour upon the heating system, that what has been delayed may be completed quickly, and if it be His will, by tomorrow. We ask Him to provide for you and your household, to keep you in health and patience, and to give you a peaceful contentment in your breast while this tribulation lasts as well as when it has closed. May He guard you from murmuring and teach you to say, My soul, wait thou only upon God, for my expectation is from Him.
May you be kept in such confidence in the love of God and the power of Christ that at all times you may trust in Him and not be afraid, and may this small trial turn your heart more fully to praise Him both in little mercies and in great.
