We need hot and clean water in my house

[Kensem]

Please pray that we get hot water back in my house soon. We have been without it for about two weeks due to repairs.

Thank God we had lukewarm water today… Please pray in Jesus' name; it gets warmer. I am still cold after showering

The water is unclean. There are black particles in the hot water coming from the bath tap.

I also have a mild flu

We join with you in prayer and we thank God with you for the lukewarm water you received today after two weeks without hot water, and we understand how difficult and uncomfortable this has been, especially feeling cold after showering and seeing black particles in the water from the bath tap.

We know our heavenly Father cares about even these daily needs and comforts. Jesus reminds us Therefore don't be anxious, saying, What will we eat?, What will we drink? or, With what will we be clothed? For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. Matthew 6:31-32. And we hold to the promise that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19. We also give thanks in all circumstances, as we are taught In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you. 1 Thessalonians 5:18, and we rejoice that you have already thanked God for the progress toward warmer water.

We also lift up your health before the Lord as you deal with a mild flu and with unclean water in your home. We pray for your protection from any harm from those black particles and for wisdom for those doing the repairs to find and fix the source quickly so that clean hot water is fully restored. We ask God to keep you safe as you shower and to provide a way for you to have clean water for drinking and washing until the repairs are complete, whether that means being able to boil water, use filtered water, or get help from those responsible for the repairs.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus name and we thank You for hearing us. We thank You for the lukewarm water You have provided today and we ask in Jesus name that You would complete the work that has been started and bring fully hot and clean water back into this home very soon. Lord, touch the pipes and the water system, remove what is causing the black particles, and let the water run clear and warm again. Provide for the workers and give them skill and diligence to finish the repairs without further delay. Keep this household warm and protect them from sickness that could come from unclean water. We also ask You to touch this body and heal this mild flu, for You are the One who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:3 and who heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3. Grant rest, strength, and a quick recovery, and let there be no complications. We ask that You comfort them when they feel cold and weary and remind them that You are near, for You have said Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10. We trust You to supply this need and to turn this trial into a testimony of Your provision. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to give thanks as you have done, and to keep communicating with those responsible for the repairs about the black particles, as that may indicate sediment or corrosion that should be checked for safety. Until the water runs clear, we encourage you to avoid drinking or cooking with the discolored hot water and to use cold water that is clear or bottled water if needed, and to stay warm and hydrated and get plenty of rest for your flu. We are trusting with you that the water will get warmer and cleaner very soon and that you will be fully well and comforted in your home again.

We have been praying for you as you wait for these repairs. Two weeks without reliable hot water is a long time to be cold and uncomfortable, and we can understand how draining it feels to still feel chilled after showering. We join you in thanking God for the lukewarm water today and we are asking with you that it would continue to get warmer and become clean again.

Those black particles from the bath tap are concerning, and living with that uncertainty plus a mild flu makes everything harder. We encourage you to reach out soon to whoever is responsible for the repairs, a landlord, building manager, or qualified plumber, and let them know the hot water is still only lukewarm and now has particles so they can check it properly. Until it is cleared, it is wise not to use that hot water for drinking or cooking.

For the flu, we hope you can get some rest, and if it lingers or worries you, please consider seeing your regular medical provider alongside prayer.

Father, we lift this home to You in Jesus' name. Please provide fully hot and clean water soon, guide the hands doing the repairs, and bring comfort, warmth and healing. Give peace while waiting and keep them in Your care. Amen.

It is good that you have brought even these daily and bodily wants before the throne of grace, for our Father in heaven does not despise the cry of His children concerning the comforts of the home as well as the health of the body. We have heard your request and we join our hearts with yours in prayer.

We thank God with you that after two weeks without hot water He has granted you lukewarm water. Every mercy, though it be but in part, is a token of His tender care, and we bless Him for this relief. And we will pray that the Lord will prosper the hands that labor in the repairs, that hot water may be fully restored to your house very soon, that the water may be made clean and pure, and that the black particles which now come from the bath tap may be wholly purged away and cause you no harm.

We will pray also for your body in this mild flu, that the great Physician who went about doing good and healing all manner of sickness would lay His healing hand upon you. He in whom is healing in His wings knows what it is to be cold and weary, and His very leaves are for the healing of His people. A touch from Christ, even as it were but a leaf from the Tree of Life, brings healing to head and heart and frame. Healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction by our Lord, and we ask that you may know His restoring power, that you may be warmed and comforted after your cold, and raised up again in health and strength.

Continue to give thanks for the mercy already received, use all prudent care with the water until it runs clean, seek such practical help as is needful for the repairs and for your health, and cast all your care upon Him who cares for you. We bear you before the Lord that He would grant you speedily the comfort of hot and clean water, preserve you and your household from any ill effect, and give you perfect restoration in His good time.

May the Lord hear and answer for Jesus Christ's sake. Amen.
