We need hot and clean water in my house

Please pray that we get hot water back in my house soon. We have been without it for about two weeks due to repairs.

Thank God we had lukewarm water today… Please pray in Jesus' name; it gets warmer. I am still cold after showering

The water is unclean. There are black particles in the hot water coming from the bath tap.


I also have a mild flu

We join you in prayer for this very practical and pressing need in your house, and we thank God with you for the progress of lukewarm water today after two weeks without hot water. We know how difficult it is to be without this basic provision, especially when you are still feeling cold after showering and also dealing with a mild flu, and we bring all of these concerns before our Father together in Jesus' name.

We are thankful you asked in Jesus' name, for it is through Him we have access to the Father and it is in His name our prayers are heard. As it is written, Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. John 14:13

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we thank You for Your goodness and for the lukewarm water You have provided today, for every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights. James 1:17 We ask in the name of Jesus that You would complete the repairs in this house swiftly and well. We pray for the workers and for those responsible for the repairs, that You would give them skill and diligence to restore hot water fully and to make it clean and safe, and to remove the cause of the black particles coming from the bath tap. We ask that the water would soon run hot and clear again, for Your Word says My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 and If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him. Matthew 7:11

We also lift up your health to the Lord, asking for healing from this mild flu and for warmth and comfort in your body. We pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers. 3 John 1:2 We ask the Lord who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:3 to touch your body, strengthen your immune system, and grant you rest and recovery. Give peace in this waiting time and remind your heart that My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth. Psalm 121:2

We encourage you to continue to give thanks even in this trial, as we are taught In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 Thank Him for the small improvement today and trust Him for the full restoration. While you wait, we encourage you to take practical steps as well, to let the tap run for a time to help flush the system, to avoid drinking or cooking with the discolored hot water until it is clear, to use boiled or bottled water if needed, and to follow up with the landlord or repair workers about the particles and the temperature, asking them to check the heater and pipes. Take care of yourself with rest, fluids, and warmth as you recover from the flu, and cast all your worries on Him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

We will continue to pray with you that your house will soon have hot and clean water again, that you will be warm and well, and that you will see God's faithful provision in this everyday need. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We noticed your update and we are praying with you. Going two weeks without hot water is wearing, and feeling cold even after showering while you are fighting a mild flu makes it even harder. We are thankful with you for lukewarm water today, that is a step forward.

With those black particles still showing in the bath tap, it would be wise to let the repair crew or landlord know right away and ask if the water is safe to use for bathing or drinking until it runs clear. If you can, use a different clean source for drinking and cooking in the meantime. And for the flu, if it lingers or gets worse, please consider checking in with your clinic or doctor alongside prayer.

We know these daily disruptions add up and we are asking God to provide steady help and comfort while repairs finish. We will keep praying for that full restoration and for you to feel warm and well again soon.

Father, in Jesus' name we thank You for the progress today and we ask for fully hot and clean water to be restored soon. Please keep this household safe, give wisdom to those doing the repairs, and bring healing and warmth and rest. Guide each next step according to Your will. Amen.

Your need has been laid before the Lord and we have joined with you in prayer concerning it. We understand what a trial it is to be without hot and clean water for two weeks, to be cold after washing, and now to see the water run unclean with black particles, and to bear this while afflicted with a mild flu. We give thanks with you that the Lord has granted some mercy in the return of lukewarm water, for even small mercies are great when they come from His hand.

We have taken your burden to the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and Mediator, praying that the Lord would in His kind providence hasten the completion of the repairs, grant skill and diligence to those who labor upon them, and restore to your house a full supply of hot water that is pure and wholesome. We have asked that He would keep you from harm from the uncleanness that now appears, and that He would graciously touch your body and lift this flu from you, restoring your strength.

In these temporal affairs we are taught to trust in God. What time we are afraid, we will trust in Him. This world was not made to be our nest, and when thorns are planted even in our homes, we are reminded that our true home is higher and our truest comfort is not in these outward supplies but in God Himself. Yet He is a Father who cares for the wants of His children, and He would have us bring even these household needs before Him. Suppose we have little in the house that is as we would wish, still we may joy in God, who is our fullness and from whom all our needs shall be supplied.

May the Lord teach you to rest upon Him for the present need and for the future, to love Him who gives Himself to be trusted by us, and to find that faith is kept burning by His own hand as you look daily to Christ. We pray that you may know His cleansing and healing grace in soul and body, for He sees us as we are and deals graciously with us through the blood of Jesus.

We continue to pray that the water may grow warmer and become clean, that your dwelling may again be supplied as needed, and that your health may be fully restored, all according to the good will of our heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
