We need hot and clean water in my house

Please pray that we get hot water back in my house soon. We have been without it for about two weeks due to repairs.

Thank God we had lukewarm water today… Please pray in Jesus' name; it gets warmer. I am still cold after showering

The water is unclean. There are black particles in the hot water coming from the bath tap.

We join you in prayer for this practical and daily need and we thank God with you for the improvement to lukewarm water today after two weeks without hot water. We know how difficult and uncomfortable it is to be cold after showering and to be concerned about unclean water, and we bring these burdens to our Father who cares about every detail of our lives.

We are thankful that you asked in Jesus' name, for it is through Him we have access to the Father. Philippians 4:6 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And Philippians 4:19 reminds us My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Even these needs for hot and clean water matter to Him.

We pray together for complete restoration. Father, we come before You in Jesus' name and thank You for the progress You have already provided with lukewarm water. We ask that You would guide the hands of those doing the repairs, that the work would be completed quickly and correctly, and that the hot water would soon be fully restored and be clean and safe. We pray that You would remove the source of the black particles from the bath tap and provide pure water for washing and for health. We ask for Your provision and protection over this household and for warmth and comfort as they wait.

We also lift up the mild flu to You. We ask for Your healing touch, for strength and rest, and that this illness would not worsen, especially with the cold and the water issues. Psalm 103:3 says who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, and we trust in Your compassion and mercy. We pray for renewed health and energy. 3 John 1:2 says Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers.

We encourage you to continue to give thanks as God works, as 1 Thessalonians 5:18 says In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you, and to be wise in caring for your health while the water is still unclean. If possible, let the tap run briefly before use, avoid drinking or bathing in water with particles, consider boiling water if needed for safety, and follow up with the landlord or repair workers to ensure the system is flushed and inspected fully. Continue to stay warm, rest, and drink fluids as you recover from the flu, and seek medical care if symptoms worsen.

We trust that God sees your need and will provide. Isaiah 41:10 says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. We continue to pray that your water will soon be hot and clean again and that you will be restored to full health, all for His glory and in the name of Jesus. Amen.

We have been thinking of you and praying about the water situation at home. Two weeks without reliable hot water is wearing, and we understand how discouraging it is to still feel cold after showering and to see those black particles coming from the bath tap.

We thank God with you for the lukewarm water today, that is a welcome step forward after so long, and we are asking Him to provide fully hot and clean water again soon.

While you wait for the repairs to finish, it may help to let your landlord or the repair team know right away about the particles if you have not already, so they can check whether the water is safe to use for drinking or cooking. If the tap water still looks unclean, using bottled or another trusted source for drinking and cooking until it is cleared can be wise. For the mild flu and the chill you felt, we also encourage you to check in with your doctor or clinic alongside prayer, especially if symptoms linger or worsen.

You are not forgotten in this practical strain, and we are asking God to meet you with comfort and provision day by day.

We have heard your request and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace. To be without hot and clean water for two weeks is a sore trial, and to still be left cold after showering, and to see the water made unclean with black particles from the bath tap, is an added burden. With you we thank God for the mercy already shown in the return of lukewarm water, for even this is from His hand, and we take it as a token that He has not forgotten to be gracious, though His promise may tarry for a season.

We are reminded that our Lord in His earthly ministry went about doing good and healing all manner of sickness, and it is written of Him that He took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. There is no affliction of the body which He does not see, and there is no sickness so hard to bear as the sickness of sin, yet He is the Good Physician for both. The least thing about Christ is healing, as the leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations, and a word from Him coming home to the heart brings healing to body and soul. It is no small mercy to have life preserved and health restored, and we are to cry unto the Lord in trouble and then to praise Him when He sends His word and heals us.

Therefore we bring your bodily needs and your household need before the Lord, asking Him to show His kindness in these daily mercies.

O Lord our God, we thank Thee for the measure of relief Thou hast already given in lukewarm water. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son that Thou wouldst complete what Thou hast begun. Grant that the repairs may be finished speedily and well, that hot water may be fully restored, and that it may run clean and pure without any uncleanness or particle that would harm the body. Provide for this household what is needed for health and cleanliness, and keep them from any hurt through unclean water. Lay Thy healing hand also upon this mild flu, and restore strength and comfort, that cold and sickness may be taken away. Above all, let this affliction bring a nearer sense of Thy care, who givest both pardon and healing, and when Thou hast restored these mercies, help Thy servant to offer praise and to tell of Thy wondrous works. We ask this in Jesus name, trusting His blood which cleanses from all sin and His compassion which fails not. Amen.

We have received your request and we are praying with you in the name of Jesus. Thank you for sharing this burden so openly, and thank God with you for the mercy of lukewarm water today after two weeks without hot water. We know how hard it is to be cold after showering and to see the water still unclean with black particles from the bath tap, and to carry a flu at the same time.

We bring these needs before our Father who cares for both body and soul and who gives even before we ask. We pray in Jesus name that the Lord would complete the repairs quickly and restore hot water to your house fully, that the water would run clear and clean without particles, and that it would be warm enough for you to be washed and warmed in comfort. We ask Him to protect your health, to heal you from this mild flu, to keep you warm and strengthen you each day, and to give wisdom and skill to those doing the repairs so the work is finished well and safely.

We give thanks that you have seen a small improvement, and we pray that this is the beginning of full restoration. As you wait, keep bringing your needs to Him with thanksgiving, and keep seeking Him not only for clean water for the body but for a clean heart before Him, for He desires purity within even more than outward washing. He is near to those who call on Him and He hears.

Thank you for sharing this need so honestly. Going two weeks without hot water is hard, and I understand how discouraging it is to still feel cold after showering with only lukewarm water, to see black particles coming from the tap and to wonder if the water is safe, and to deal with all of this while you have the flu. God sees these daily, physical burdens and He cares about them.

Scripture shows that Jesus cares for both body and soul. When a man with leprosy came and knelt before Him and said, Lord, if you are willing you can make me clean, Jesus was moved with compassion, reached out His hand and touched him, who no one else would touch, and said, I am willing, be clean. Leprosy in the Bible is a picture of sin because of how it spreads and cannot be cured by human means, yet God made a way for the leper to be examined, washed with water and pronounced clean. That cleansing involved washing in water and blood, which points to the blood and water that flowed from the side of Jesus when He was pierced, the provision for our cleansing from sin. In the same way the Gospels show Him healing the servant who was paralyzed and tormented with pain, healing Peter's mother in law of a fever, and healing multitudes who were sick and oppressed. His suffering was not only for our spiritual healing but, as the prophet Isaiah says and Matthew applies, He bore our sicknesses as well.

Jesus also speaks often of water for the thirsty soul. He told the woman at the well that everyone who drinks of ordinary water will thirst again, but whoever drinks the water He gives will never thirst in that deep inner way, because it becomes like a fresh spring welling up inside to everlasting life. That is not water from a deep dug well that you must lower a bucket to reach, but living, flowing water. He said, let the one who is thirsty come to me and drink, and from within will flow rivers of living water. Before the rock could give water in the wilderness it had to be struck, and Christ was struck for us so that the water of life could come freely to all who ask Him by faith. To be born of water and of the Spirit, as Jesus told Nicodemus, speaks of our natural birth followed by the new birth of the Spirit, and that new birth is what gives us that living water within.

I am praying with you in Jesus' name for these specific needs. I am asking the Lord to provide fully hot water again soon and to guide and speed the repairs, to make your water clean and clear and safe with no more particles, to keep you warm and protect your health as you must use it, and to heal your flu completely and restore your strength. I am also asking Him to fill you with His living water, to assure you of His cleansing through the blood of Jesus, to satisfy your soul and give you peace and comfort while you wait, and to remind you that He is willing and able to touch both the practical needs of the home and the deepest needs of the heart.

The early believers often gathered in a home to pray earnestly when Peter was in prison, and God answered. Keep bringing these requests to the Lord simply and continually, and trust Him to provide. If possible, take practical care while the water is not clear, such as letting the tap run briefly, using a filter or boiling water for drinking and cooking as needed, and keeping warm after bathing, while you continue to pray. May the Lord comfort you, provide for your house, cleanse and renew you by His Spirit, and heal your body in His mercy.
