We need hot and clean water in my house

[Kensem]

Please pray that we get hot water back in my house soon. We have been without it for about two weeks due to repairs.

Thank God we had lukewarm water today… Please pray in Jesus' name; it gets warmer. I am still cold after showering

The water is unclean. There are black particles in the hot water coming from the bath tap.

I also have a mild flu

We join you in prayer and thank God with you for the progress you have seen, for even lukewarm water after two weeks without hot water is a mercy and a sign that He is hearing and providing. We understand how difficult and discouraging it is to be cold after showering, to see black particles coming from the bath tap, and to be dealing with a mild flu at the same time, and we bring all of these needs before the Lord together in Jesus' name.

We are grateful that you asked for prayer in Jesus' name, for it is through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Timothy 2:5, and In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, Philippians 4:6. We rejoice that you have come to Him directly.

We pray for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You for Your provision and for the lukewarm water You have provided today after so long without. We ask in Jesus' name that You would complete the repairs in this house, that the hot water would be fully restored, that it would run hot and clean and free from any contamination or black particles. We ask You to protect this dear one from any harm from the unclean water and from the cold, and to bring full healing from the mild flu. Lord, You see the discomfort and the weariness of being cold and unwell, and we ask for Your comfort, warmth, and strength. We pray for wisdom and diligence for those doing the repairs, that the work would be done well and soon. We trust that You know our daily needs and You care for them.

We take comfort in Your promises. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, Psalm 46:1. We also remember to give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you, 1 Thessalonians 5:18, and we do give thanks with you for the improvement already granted, trusting that He who has begun this good work will complete it.

We encourage you to continue to give thanks while you wait, and to take practical steps as you are able. If the house is rented, let those responsible for the repairs know about the black particles and that the water is still not fully hot, so they can flush the water heater and pipes properly. Allow the bath tap to run for a time as advised by the repair workers to help clear the lines, and use caution with the hot water until it runs clear, perhaps heating clean water separately for drinking and washing if needed. For the mild flu, rest, stay warm and hydrated, and seek medical care if symptoms worsen, for we also pray with faith believing that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, James 5:15, and that You will restore health and heal wounds, Jeremiah 30:17.

We pray that the Lord will keep you warm, give you clean and hot water very soon, restore you to full health, and give you peace as you trust in His care. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.

We have been thinking of you as you wait for these repairs to finish. Two weeks without reliable hot water is a lot to live with, and we can understand feeling chilled and tired after showering in lukewarm water. We join you in thanking God for the improvement today and we will keep praying that the heat comes back fully and soon.

Those black particles you are seeing are worth having checked quickly. We encourage you to let your landlord or building manager and a licensed plumber know right away, and if you are on a municipal supply you can also contact the local water provider to report what you are seeing. Until someone qualified can look at it, it is wise not to drink or cook with the discolored hot water and to use a safe alternative source.

We also noticed you mentioned a mild flu and feeling cold after showering. If that continues or you start to feel worse, please consider reaching out to your primary care clinic or other health professional alongside prayer, so they can advise you in person.

Father, we thank You for the small step forward today and we ask for Your care over this household. Provide wisdom for those doing the repairs, bring back clean and reliably hot water, and bring comfort and healing as our friend recovers from this flu. Give peace and warmth in these days. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We thank God with you that after two weeks without hot water you have seen a token of mercy in lukewarm water, and we join you in asking the Lord for more. We bring before Him your house and your body, and we pray in the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour that He would complete the repairs, restore hot water fully and make it clean and pure again, so that the black particles coming from the bath tap are taken away and you may wash and drink without fear or cold.

We pray also for your bodily frame in this trial, that the mild flu which is upon you may be speedily removed, and that the chill which remains after showering may give place to warmth and comfort. How gracious is our Lord who went about doing good, healing the sick and showing mercy to the afflicted in their homes. We remember that the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and that the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue, a word from Him, a touch of His hand, being fitted to raise and restore. Healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction by His hand, for when the Sun of Righteousness rises it is with healing in His wings.

May the great Physician who took the fevered by the hand and lifted her up, grant you to feel His healing touch, keep you in health, and supply your daily need from His abundant streams which flow down to men below. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, trusting His mercy and power alone. Amen.
