We join you in bringing this need before the Father and we thank God with you for the lukewarm water you received today after two weeks without hot water, and we agree with you in Jesus' name that He will fully restore hot and clean water to your home soon.

We know how difficult it is to be cold after showering and to see black particles coming from the tap, especially while you are also dealing with a mild flu, headache, and dermatitis and skin irritation. Our God cares about these daily, practical needs and about the health of your body. He is not distant from these small but very real burdens. Jesus reminded us not to be anxious about our daily needs, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things, but seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33. And we claim the promise that my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19.

We also lift up your physical healing to the Lord, for He is the One who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3 and who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We pray that He will touch your body, ease the headache and flu symptoms, and soothe the dermatitis and irritation of your skin. We pray as the apostle prayed, Beloved, we pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers 3 John 1:2. We ask for wisdom for you to care for your body during this time, to keep the unclean water from aggravating your skin, to use clean water where possible, to seek medical care if the flu or skin condition worsens, and to follow up diligently with those responsible for the repairs until the system is properly flushed and truly clean. Do not hesitate to let the landlord or repair workers know about the black particles, as this may indicate the pipes or water heater still need attention.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for Your mercy and for the lukewarm water You have already provided. We ask in Jesus' name that You would fully restore hot, clean, and safe water to this home. Cause the repairs to be completed properly and quickly, let the water run clear and pure, and let it be hot enough to bring comfort and warmth and to allow for proper hygiene. We ask You to protect this dear one from any harm from the unclean water. Lord, lay Your healing hand upon this body, take away the flu and headache, calm the inflammation and dermatitis, and restore skin to health. Grant strength and comfort and keep them warm and at peace while they wait. We trust that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1, and that You will not let us be tested beyond what we can bear. We thank You for hearing us and we trust in Your loving provision, in Jesus' name, amen.

We encourage you to continue to cast all your worries on Him, because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7, and to keep thanking Him even for small improvements while you wait for the full answer. We are standing with you for complete restoration and healing.

We are praying with you in this stretch without steady hot water, two weeks is a long time to wait through repairs, and we can understand feeling cold even after a lukewarm shower is wearing you down.

We thank God with you for the lukewarm water returning today and we join you in asking Him to provide fully hot and clean water again soon.

Since you are seeing black particles in the hot water and you also mentioned flu, headache and skin irritation, we encourage you to reach out soon to both the person responsible for the repairs and to a healthcare provider. Let your landlord or building manager and the water provider know right away what you are seeing in the tap so they can check it, and let a clinician know about your symptoms so you can get wise, personal guidance on care and on using the water in the meantime.

You are carrying a lot of small discomforts at once, and it makes sense you feel chilled and run down. We are asking God to bring you comfort, rest, and clear next steps while the work is finished.

Father, thank You for the progress today and for caring about these daily needs. We ask in Jesus' name for clean, hot water to be restored in this home, for wisdom for those doing the repairs, and for healing and relief from the flu, headache and skin irritation. Give peace, warmth, and protection until all is restored. Amen.

[Spurgeon]

We have heard your request and we join with you in prayer before our gracious Father, giving thanks with you that after two weeks without hot water the Lord has granted you lukewarm water, a token of His mercy which though small is not to be despised. We ask Him who finishes every work He begins and who fashions with wondrous care both the mighty orb and the dust of a butterfly's wing, to complete the work of repair in your house and to restore to you hot water and clean water in full measure.

We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Saviour, that the Lord would cause the water to become warm indeed, so that you need not be cold after washing, and that He would cleanse the supply from those black particles which now trouble the bath tap. We ask Him to guide the hands of those who labour on the repairs, to make the pipes sound and pure, and to provide for you a steady and wholesome provision for your daily needs.

We bring also your body before the throne of grace. The Lord knows your mild flu and headache, and the irritation and dermatitis which afflicts your skin. We remember that the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and that the least thing about Christ has healing virtue in it. As it is written, when the Lord dwells with His people they have no need to say I am sick, for pardon and healing flow together from His hand. So we entreat the Sun of Righteousness to rise upon you with healing in His wings, to ease your head, to lift the fever, and to soothe and restore your skin.

We thank God that He is not a God who leaves His work half formed, but perfects that which concerns His children. He has taught you from your youth and He will not cast you away now. Though you pass through this present discomfort and affliction, His grace will preserve you and keep you, and will not suffer you to be tried beyond what you are able to bear. Trust Him still, come boldly by faith, which is God's appointed way of receiving blessing, and cry to Him with the importunity of those who will not be refused, for He loves to hear the sincere prayer of His people.

May the Lord grant you clean water for washing, warm water for comfort, health to your body, and peace to your heart as you rest in His unchanging love and finished work. We ask all these mercies in the precious name of Jesus, our Healer and our Keeper, who will perform His work until the day of Christ. Amen.

[Chrysostom]

We thank you for sharing your need and we join you in prayer before the Lord who sees your daily struggle.

We give thanks with you that after two weeks without hot water you received lukewarm water today. That is a mercy, and we pray it will become fully warm and clean very soon. It is right to ask God for what the body needs for health. Scripture teaches us to make provision for the flesh for health and not for indulgence, and to care for the body so it can serve the Lord. To have warm, clean water for washing is not luxury but a basic need for health, especially when you are suffering with flu, headache and skin irritation.

We also hear your concern about the black particles in the hot water from the bath tap and the dermatitis that troubles you. Cold and unclean water can indeed aggravate the skin and leave you chilled after washing, and we pray for protection and healing for you.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we come in the name of Jesus Christ, your Son, and we thank you for the lukewarm water you have provided today. We ask you to complete the repairs in this home, to restore hot water fully, and to make the water clean and safe. Remove what causes the black particles and let the water run clear. Grant wisdom and help to those doing the repairs that the work may be finished quickly and well. In your mercy touch this body, ease the flu and headache, soothe the skin and relieve the dermatitis and irritation, and keep this dear one warm and strengthened. Give rest, comfort and daily grace while waiting, and help to use what is provided with care, avoiding what may harm the skin until the water is clean. We ask this in Jesus name, trusting your compassion and power.

We encourage you to continue giving glory to God both in sickness and in health, as we are taught to remember Him at all times. Keep seeking appropriate care for your body, speak with those responsible for the repairs about the particles in the water, and where possible avoid using water that appears unclean for bathing until it is clear, and seek medical advice for the flu and skin irritation if it continues. God is able to use even this time of waiting for good, and He hears the prayers of those who call on Him through Christ. May the Lord grant you warmth, health, clean water, and peace in the days ahead.
