We need God's Protection

There are some who are trying to destroy me and harm my family. God has always covered us with His protection. We need an urgent move from God to survive this attack. Please agree with us in prayer that God prevails in our behalf. Thank you so much for taking the time to help us.

We join with you in this urgent hour and we stand in agreement for God's protection over you and your entire family. We hear the distress in your request as you face those who seek to harm and destroy, and we want you to know that God sees, God hears, and God is mighty to save. We are reminded that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1, and that He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust Psalm 91:1-2.

We take comfort in the promise that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17, and that the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one 2 Thessalonians 3:3. The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them Psalm 34:7. When enemies rise, we remember the truth that if God is for us, who can be against us Romans 8:31. We do not need to take vengeance into our own hands, for it is written, Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19, but we are called to trust Him, to put on the whole armor of God that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Ephesians 6:11, and to continue in prayer and in the Word with faith and not fear.

We also want to gently and lovingly point out that your request mentions God but does not mention Jesus Christ. We want to make sure you know that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and to His protection and salvation. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by calling on the name of Jesus, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are saved and brought into the family of God where we can boldly approach His throne of grace for help in time of need.

So together we pray for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we lift up this dear one and their family to You. Lord, You see the attack that has been formed against them and You know those who seek to do harm. We ask that You would surround this family with Your hedge of protection, that You would encamp Your angels around them and keep them safe from all evil. Cover them under the shadow of Your wings, be their fortress and deliverer, and let no weapon prevail against them. We ask for an urgent move of Your hand, that You would prevail on their behalf, expose every evil plan, bring it to nothing, and turn what was meant for harm into a testimony of Your power and goodness. Guard their hearts from fear, fill them with Your perfect peace that passes all understanding, and strengthen their faith to stand firm. Lead them to walk in forgiveness and righteousness, and let Your justice and mercy be done. We pray that they would draw ever closer to Jesus, trusting Him as Lord and Savior, and abiding daily in Your Word and prayer. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our refuge and our victory. Amen.

We encourage you to remain steadfast, keep praying without ceasing, stay in the Scriptures day and night, and trust that God is working even when you cannot see it. He who promised is faithful and He will not leave you nor forsake you. Keep seeking Him together as a family, and we will continue to agree with you for His covering and deliverance.

Simply letting them know the specifics you are facing, praying together out loud, and staying in regular contact can bring both comfort and clearer wisdom for next steps. Many families also find it grounding to set a short, simple time each evening to pray together and rest in God's presence, even for just a few minutes.

We are asking God to meet you in a very real way in the days ahead, to guard you and your family, to calm fear with His peace, and to give you wisdom for each decision.

Father, we lift this family to You right now. You see the threats they sense and the burden they carry. Cover them with Your protection, keep them safe in Your care, and give them wisdom and discernment for what to do next. Fill their home with Your peace and remind them that You are near and You prevail for Your people. Lead them step by step as they trust You. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your cry for protection has been heard and we join our faith with yours before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to prevail on your behalf and to cover you and your family under the shadow of His wing.

There is no attribute more comforting to the children of God than the doctrine of Divine Sovereignty. He who reigns above does according to His will, and not a hair of your head can fall without His permission. We may therefore rest in this, that the Lord who has covered you in time past has not withdrawn His hand, and His purpose still stands to break down everything which sets itself up in opposition to Him. From the time when Satan fell, His purpose has been to cast down the mighty from the seats of their pomp while He lifts up the poor from the dunghill.

We pray that the Lord will send from above and take you, that He will draw you out of many waters. Providential interpositions are frequent among God's people, and many can say, He hath delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling. As He has delivered, so He will yet deliver. May He display His own perfections in your preservation, rebuke those who seek your harm, and turn their counsel to nothing, that all may see that the Lord is your keeper.

We ask the Lord to give you peace in the midst of this attack, to guard your household day and night, to grant wisdom to those in authority over you, and to let no weapon formed against you prosper. May He keep you abiding in Christ, trusting not in your own strength but in His gentleness and power, for true safety comes from God alone.

We continue to agree with you in urgent prayer that God will move mightily, that His will be done, and that you and your family will be kept in perfect peace as you trust in Him.

We have heard your urgent cry and we stand with you and your family in prayer before the Lord who is our refuge and strength.

We agree with you that God will cover you with His protection and prevail on your behalf. Scripture teaches that Christ is seated at the right hand of God and His enemies will be put under His feet, and that He has perfected forever those who are sanctified by His one offering. No attack against His people escapes His sight, and He is able to deliver and to keep you.

In this time of trial we also encourage you to keep your heart free from hatred, even toward those who seek to harm you. When we bear the spiteful acts of others with meekness and patience, God works in us fortitude, mildness and benevolence, and delivers us from consuming anger and sorrow. In this way we do not punish ourselves by hating others, but we benefit our own souls by loving them and entrusting justice to God. Even as you pray for protection, pray also that you may love your enemies and desire their repentance, for God desires all to come to truth.

Remember how God often brings good through the very things meant for harm, as He did with Joseph, whose suffering became the path to safety and greater blessing. God is the cause of all good and He can turn what is intended for destruction into an occasion for His glory and your growth. He does not always promise immediate deliverance from hardship, but He does promise to be with you in it, to give you courage to not fear death or evil, and to plant in you a firm hope of eternal life.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come to You on behalf of this family. You see the threats against them and You know their need. Cover them with Your hand, guard their bodies, their home and their hearts. Frustrate every plan formed to destroy them and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Grant them peace that passes understanding, wisdom to walk carefully, and faith to trust that You are working for their good. Prevail for them, Lord, and show Your power and mercy. Keep them from anger and fear, and fill them with patience, love and hope in Christ. We ask this trusting in Your goodness and Your promise to be our defender. Amen.

We will continue to hold you up in prayer. Keep seeking the Lord daily through His Word and prayer, and rest in the confidence that He who watches over you never sleeps.
