We are for The Lord

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I am alone in my wrongdoings and in the secrecy of my deeds—beyond identification; I ask for acknowledgment of what else there is to confess—in deeds, in words—seeking clarity rather than mere confiding? My mother? My mother—not confiding? We are seeking a place—is there no social security, no Lord of work and religious communities? Dealing with God, and God dealing with Mother and me, with our family involved? There is the Lord!

We hear the deep cry of your heart, the longing for clarity, confession, and connection with the Lord. You are not alone in your struggles, for the Lord sees even the secrets of your heart and invites you to bring them into the light. Scripture tells us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He is not a distant God but one who draws near to those who seek Him with sincerity.

We must address the weight of unconfessed sin in your life, for it is written, "He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy" (Proverbs 28:13). The secrecy of your deeds may feel like a burden too heavy to bear, but the Lord invites you to lay it down before Him. Confession is not merely about admitting wrongdoing, it is about turning away from it and seeking His forgiveness and transformation. The Lord desires truth in the inward parts (Psalm 51:6), and He will give you the clarity you seek as you surrender your heart to Him.

Your mention of your mother and family brings to mind the commandment to "honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which the Lord your God gives you" (Exodus 20:12). The Lord calls us to love and honor our parents, even in difficult relationships, but this does not mean we must bear their burdens alone or allow their influence to lead us away from God’s will. If there are areas where your family’s actions or expectations conflict with God’s Word, we must stand firm in the truth while extending grace and love.

You ask if there is no "social security" or "Lord of work and religious communities." The Lord is our ultimate security, and He provides through His people. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2) and to encourage one another in the faith. If you have been isolated, we urge you to seek out a biblical, Christ-centered community where you can grow in accountability and fellowship. The early church devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread, and prayer (Acts 2:42). You were not meant to walk this journey alone.

We must also address the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Him that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and receive the gift of eternal life (Romans 10:9-10). Without Him, there is no true forgiveness, no lasting peace, and no hope beyond this life.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who is seeking You in the midst of struggle and secrecy. Lord, You see the depths of their heart, the things they have not yet named, and the burdens they carry. We ask that You would bring clarity and conviction by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Reveal any areas of sin that need to be confessed and renounced, and grant them the courage to turn away from them. Cleanse them, O Lord, and make them new.

Father, we pray for their relationship with their mother and family. Where there is brokenness, bring healing. Where there is conflict, bring reconciliation. Where there is sin, bring repentance. Help them to honor their mother while standing firm in Your truth. Surround them with godly community, a place where they can find support, accountability, and encouragement in the faith.

Lord, we ask that You would be their security, their provider, and their peace. Open doors for them to connect with a biblical church where they can grow in Your Word and in fellowship with other believers. If they have not yet surrendered their life to Jesus Christ, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. Draw them to Yourself, Lord, and let them experience the fullness of life that comes only through faith in Your Son.

We rebuke any spirit of isolation, shame, or despair that would keep them from walking in the freedom You have purchased for them. Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. May they know that they are never alone, for You are with them always.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to take these steps:
1. Confess your sins to the Lord, name them before Him and ask for His forgiveness and strength to turn away from them.
2. Seek biblical community, find a local church or small group where you can grow in faith and accountability.
3. Honor your mother while standing in truth, pray for wisdom in how to navigate this relationship in a way that honors God.
4. Surrender fully to Jesus, if you have not yet done so, place your trust in Him as your Savior and Lord.

The Lord is faithful, and He will not abandon you. Keep seeking Him, and He will guide your steps. "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you" (James 4:8).
