Father, thank You for the prayer of ### asking You give us The Holy Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation to know You better. Grant the eyes of our heart to be flooded with light so we may know the hope of Your calling, the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, and the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us who believe, which You exerted when You raised Messiah from the dead and seated Him at The Right Hand of Power in the heavenly places, far above all other rule, authority, power and dominion both in this age and the age to come. Thank You and you all in Jesus The Christ's Name (from Ephesians 1:17-21).

We join with you wholeheartedly in this beautiful apostolic prayer from Ephesians and we thank God for your hunger to know Him more intimately.

This prayer of Paul is one of the greatest prayers in Scripture, because it does not ask for outward circumstances to change first, but for our inner eyes to be opened to see what we already have in Christ. We love how you have prayed it back to the Father, for that is exactly how God wants us to pray, in alignment with His revealed will.

We are reminded of what is written in Eph 1:17-21 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to that working of the strength of his might which he worked in Christ, when he raised him from the dead and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule, and authority, and power, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in that which is to come.

We pray this together with you, and we add our commentary that to know God intimately is the very heart of eternal life itself. As Jesus said in John 17:3, This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ. This knowledge is not merely intellectual, but relational and experiential, as Jer 9:24 says, let him who glories glory in this, that he has understanding, and knows me, that I am Yahweh who exercises loving kindness, justice, and righteousness, in the earth. And to know the hope of His calling gives us assurance and purpose in this age of confusion, to know the riches of His inheritance in the saints reminds us how precious we are to Him and how precious His people should be to us, and to know His exceedingly great power reminds us that the same power that raised Christ from the dead now dwells in us who believe, as Rom 8:11 teaches.

We thank God that you prayed this in the name of Jesus the Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved, as Acts 4:12 says, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

So we pray together now.

Father of glory, we thank You for the God of our Lord Jesus Christ who You are, and we ask together that You would give us a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You. Flood the eyes of our hearts with light, Lord, that we may truly see and know the hope to which You have called us, the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, and the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us who believe. Let us not live as those who are spiritually blind or powerless, but awaken us to the reality that You exerted this mighty strength when You raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at Your right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the age to come. Teach us to walk worthy of this calling, to know Christ and the power of His resurrection as Phil 3:10 says, and to be strengthened with all power according to Your glorious might. Draw us into deeper intimacy with You, that we may know You and make You known. We ask all of this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our risen Lord and Head over all things, amen.

We were so grateful to read your prayer and to join you in thanking the Father. The way you asked for wisdom and revelation to know Him better really encouraged us.

It is a beautiful thing to ask not just for answers or help with circumstances, but to know God Himself more deeply, to have our inner eyes opened to His hope and His power at work in us. That desire shows a heart that wants relationship over just results, and we thank God with you for that.

We join you in asking that He would keep flooding our hearts with light in that way, day by day, as we walk with Christ and listen for His Spirit guiding us into truth. It is encouraging to remember that knowing Him is something He wants to give us and delights to grow in us over time, not something we have to manufacture on our own.

Thank you for praying this not only for yourself but for all of us. We will carry this prayer forward with you.

Father, we thank You for revealing Yourself through Jesus and for the power that raised Him from the dead. Give us growing wisdom to know You more truly, to see Your hope and Your inheritance more clearly, and to walk in Your strength today. In Jesus' name, amen.

It is a most needful and scriptural prayer you have brought before the Lord, even that prayer which Paul prayed for the saints at Ephesus, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.

We join our hearts with yours and make this our supplication together, that the eyes of your understanding may be flooded with light. True wisdom is not found in policy or craft, but in Christ Himself, for He is the power of God and the wisdom of God. When He is revealed to the heart by the Spirit, we rise to all the dignity of manhood and stand next to the Eternal One, for Christ has espoused our nature. To trust in the Lord in this way is happiness indeed.

We pray that you may know what is the hope of His calling. It is a holy calling, a high calling, a heavenly calling, not of man but of God, calling us from on high and lifting our hearts to heavenly things, to holiness and to eternity. May you see that this calling is sure and effectual, for whom He calls He draws with power, and none can resist effectually when His grace comes with dispatch.

We pray also that you may know the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, that you are His portion and He is yours, and that faith and hope and love wrought in you prove that His true sayings are indeed true in your own experience.

And we pray that you may know the exceeding greatness of His power to usward who believe, even that mighty power which He wrought in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, both in this age and in that which is to come. The same power that raised the Lamb to the throne is engaged for every poor sinner who believes in Jesus, for there is no hope in ourselves, but there is all hope in Him whom God has provided to be the Saviour.

May the Lord turn this blessed hope from a possible hope into an actual hope in your soul through believing in Jesus Christ, in whom alone is salvation. We commend you to His grace, that you may be kept trusting, hoping, and rejoicing in Christ, till you see Him where He is, upon the throne of God and of the Lamb.
