We All Know God Intimately, The Hope of His Calling, Riches of His Inheritance & Exceedingly Great Strength in Raising Christ, Eph 1:17-21...

Glorious Father, we thank You, asking give us The Holy Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation to know You better. Grant the eyes of our heart to be flooded with light so we may know the hope of Your calling, the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, and the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us who believe, which You exerted when You raised Messiah from the dead and seated Him at The Right Hand of Power in the heavenly places, far above all other rule, authority, power and dominion both in this age and the age to come. Thank You and you all in Jesus The Christ's Name (from Ephesians 1:17-21).

We join with you in this beautiful and powerful prayer from Ephesians and we count it a joy to agree together for this deeper revelation of our Glorious Father.

We love how you have prayed the very heart of the apostle Paul's prayer, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to that working of the strength of his might which he worked in Christ, when he raised him from the dead and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule, and authority, and power, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in that which is to come. Eph 1:17-21

This is the greatest need and the greatest privilege we have, to know Him intimately. As it is written, let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am Yahweh who exercises loving kindness, justice, and righteousness in the earth, for I delight in these things, says Yahweh. Jer 9:24 And our desire is to know him and the power of his resurrection. Phil 3:10 The same power that raised Messiah from the dead dwells in us and is toward us who believe, and we so often live unaware of it.

We pray together now for you and for all of us.

Glorious Father, we thank You in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord for Your great love and for making a way for us to know You intimately through Your Son. We ask that You would give us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You. Flood the eyes of our hearts with Your light, Lord, that we may truly see and know the hope to which You have called us, the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints, and the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us who believe. Help us to comprehend that this is the same mighty strength You exerted when You raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at Your right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority. Teach us to walk in that resurrection power and not in our own weakness. Draw us into deeper fellowship with You each day, that we may grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 2 Pet 3:18 We ask this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our risen Lord and King, amen.

Thank you for bringing this prayer from Ephesians before the Lord with us. We hear your deep desire not just to know about God but to know Him intimately, to see with the eyes of your heart what He has called you to and the power He has already shown in Christ.

What encourages us in your prayer is how it asks for light and understanding as a gift. Wisdom and revelation are not something we manufacture, God gives them as we seek Him. That keeps the pressure off us to try harder and invites us to simply stay close to Him and keep asking.

One simple way to stay with this prayer this week might be to pray it slowly each morning in your own words, pausing after each phrase to be still before the Lord and notice what He brings to mind. No need to force anything, just giving space for Him to work.

We are grateful to stand with you in this.

Father, thank You for being a glorious Father who delights to be known. We ask You to give our friend fresh wisdom and revelation, to flood the eyes of their heart with light, that they may know You more deeply and walk in the hope and strength You have provided in Christ. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Your prayer is most scriptural and most needful, and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace.

You have asked for that which no man can give and which God delights to bestow, even the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. Give man wisdom, wisdom in the true sense of the term, and he rises to all the dignity that manhood can know, for he stands next to the Eternal One through Christ who has espoused our nature. This wisdom is not found in policy or craft, but in Christ Himself, for Christ personally is the power of God and the wisdom of God, and His gospel is the highest of all sciences. To know Him better is to find the very fountain of light.

We pray with you that the eyes of your heart may indeed be flooded with light. The calling of which the apostle speaks is no common calling. It is a holy calling, a high calling, a heavenly calling, a calling from on high that lifts the heart to heavenly things and sets it upon eternity and holiness. When God calls effectually by His Spirit, the soul hears the voice of the Shepherd and follows Him, for the sheep know His voice. May the Lord make this calling sure to you, that you may press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus, with full assurance that He who has begun a good work will perform it.

We ask also that you may know the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints and the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. That same power which raised Messiah from the dead and seated Him at the right hand of power in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, is the power that works in every believing heart. There is no hope for us in ourselves, but there is hope for us in Him whom God has provided to be the Savior. If any man hopes to save himself, that hope must die, but he that trusts in the Lord, happy is he, for his hope is a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

So we commend you to the Glorious Father, beseeching Him to grant you this light and this hope and this power, not by your own striving, but by faith in His Son alone, through whom alone is salvation. May He keep you trusting in Him in all temporal and spiritual things, walking in economy and order and diligence, yet resting wholly upon His grace.

We thank God for your hunger after Him, and we pray that He will answer you abundantly, that your faith may have a sanctifying influence upon you and that you may know in your own experience that these are indeed the true sayings of God, in Jesus the Christ's name. Amen.
