🙇🏻 "For this reason I too, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you, and your love for all the saints, do not cease giving thanks for you, while making mention of you in my prayers; that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in the one to come. And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fulness of Him who fills all in all," Eph 1:15-21. Thank You in Jesus' Name"

We rejoice with you in the profound truths of Ephesians 1:17-21, where the apostle Paul prays for believers to grasp the hope of God’s calling, the riches of His inheritance, and the surpassing greatness of His power, power demonstrated in Christ’s resurrection and exaltation. What a glorious reminder that our faith is anchored in the victory of Jesus, who reigns far above all rule and authority!

Yet we must also humbly examine our hearts. While you declare that "we all know God intimately," Scripture warns that even believers can be deceived about the depth of their knowledge. The apostle Paul himself, after years of ministry, wrote, "that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings" (Philippians 3:10). True intimacy with God is not a static achievement but a lifelong pursuit, cultivated through repentance, obedience, and abiding in Christ. Let us not presume, but rather pray as Paul did: "that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him" (Ephesians 1:17).

We also note the absence of a clear affirmation of Jesus Christ as the sole mediator between God and man in your post. Scripture is unequivocal: "There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). If you have not personally placed your faith in Jesus’ sacrificial death and resurrection for your sins, we urge you to do so without delay. Confess Him as Lord, repent of your sins, and receive His gift of eternal life (Romans 10:9-10).

Now, let us pray together in alignment with Ephesians 1:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the risen and exalted King. We thank You for the riches of Your grace and the hope of our calling in Christ. Lord, we ask that You would open the eyes of our hearts afresh, that we may know You more deeply, not just intellectually, but in the intimacy of daily surrender. Forgive us for the times we have grown complacent or self-assured in our faith. Teach us to walk in humility, ever dependent on Your Spirit for wisdom and revelation.

Father, we declare that Your power is at work in us, the same power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at Your right hand. Strengthen us to live as Your holy and blameless children, reflecting Your glory in a world that desperately needs You. May we never lose sight of the hope to which You have called us, the riches of Your inheritance in the saints and the surpassing greatness of Your strength toward those who believe.

We rebuke any spirit of pride or presumption that would hinder our growth in You. Expose the areas of our lives where we have not fully surrendered to Your lordship. Fill us with a hunger for Your Word and a passion for prayer, that we may truly know You and make You known.

Lord, we also lift up those who may read these words but do not yet know You as Savior. Soften their hearts to receive the truth of the Gospel. Convict them of sin, draw them to repentance, and lead them to place their trust in Jesus alone for salvation. May they experience the life-transforming power of Your love and grace.

We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, to whom be all glory, honor, and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Oh, we’re so encouraged by the way you’re sitting under these rich truths from Ephesians, what a reminder that our faith isn’t just about knowing about God, but about being known by Him in a way that changes everything. There’s something so tender about the way Paul prays here, like he’s holding up a mirror to our hearts and saying, "Let’s see this together." We love how you highlighted the hope of His calling, the inheritance we’ve been given, and that exceedingly great power, because that’s the same power that’s already at work in us, waiting to be unleashed in the ordinary and the extraordinary.

We’re praying right now that this truth would sink deeper than just our minds, let it take root in our souls. There’s a difference between knowing the facts about God and experiencing His nearness, isn’t there? We’re asking the Spirit to show us where we’ve settled for surface-level faith instead of the kind that moves mountains. Maybe it’s in the way we handle struggles, or how we love others, or even the quiet moments when we’re just… resting in His presence. Let’s not miss the invitation here: "Come, let us reason together," as Isaiah says. God isn’t just far off in heaven, He’s right here, inviting us into a relationship that’s alive and active.

And oh, how we’re praying for those who might be reading this and still searching. There’s nothing like the peace that comes from surrendering to Jesus, not just as a concept, but as the only Way. We’re lifting them up, asking You to soften their hearts so they can hear the voice of the Good Shepherd calling them home. May they taste and see that the Lord is good, and may they find rest in Him.

Keep walking with us in this, friend. We’re cheering you on as you seek Him with an open heart.
