Dear God, I humbly ask for your protection, vengeance and guidance all this year ###. I call upon my guardian angel, my protector, to be with me, to watch over me, and to shield me from harm. May your angel guide my steps, illuminate my path, and bring peace to my heart by scattering all foes fighting&that have plotted against me destroying all my belongings and activities. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we thank You that You are our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust, Psalm 91:2. We ask for Your divine protection over this dear one this year, that You would guard their steps, illuminate their path by Your Word which is a lamp to our feet, Psalm 119:105, and bring peace to their heart. We ask You to scatter every foe and frustrate every plot formed against them, for no weapon that is formed against us will prosper, Isaiah 54:17. We place vengeance in Your hands and ask You to execute justice according to Your perfect righteousness and mercy, and help us to forgive and to trust You rather than seeking revenge ourselves. We ask You to command Your angels concerning this one according to Your will, but we fix our trust and our prayers on You alone, not on angels. Fill this one with Your Holy Spirit, lead them in Your truth, and draw them closer to Jesus Christ, that they may know salvation and abiding peace through Him. We pray all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We hear the longing in your prayer to feel safe and watched over this year. When it feels like others are working against you and the things you have worked for are at risk, it makes sense that your heart would feel unsettled and you would want strong protection and clear guidance.

You don't have to carry that fear alone. We are glad you reached out, and we want you to know God hears you directly when you come to Him through Jesus. He is the one who guards and guides His people, and you can bring every specific worry to Him honestly.

In seasons like this it can help not to walk alone with these thoughts. If you have a trusted pastor or mature believer nearby, consider letting them know how you have been feeling so they can pray with you and check in. It can also help to set aside a few quiet minutes each day to tell the Lord plainly what you are afraid of and what you need wisdom for that day, and then rest in His care for the next step.

We are praying for your peace and for steady direction in the months ahead.

Father, we lift our friend to You today. We ask You to surround them with Your care, to calm their heart when fear rises, and to guide their steps with wisdom. Provide what is needed, keep them in Your peace, and place supportive people around them. We trust them to Your good hands. In Jesus' name, amen.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Your heart is much tried and bowed, and yet the saint at last gets the victory, for God is stronger than Pharaoh and He will be stronger than the devil and all your enemies. It is known to every believer that the experience of a Christian is very variable, and you now feel the need of protection and guidance through this year, with foes round about you and your belongings and activities under threat.

Hear then where true deliverance lies. Our deliverance is by divine power. When Israel came out of Egypt, it was Jehovah who brought forth His armies, and when any soul is saved from spiritual bondage or kept in daily peril, it is the Lord Jesus who loosens the captive and keeps Him. Scripture tells us He shall give His angels charge over thee, and that they are ministering spirits, yet we do not call upon angels as our protectors, we call upon the Lord who commands them. Angels are servants of the Divine Architect who creates that He may display His own perfections, but God Himself is our buckler. The divine buckler which God has provided against the fiery dart is this, that God never has forsaken them that fear Him, and moreover He never will do so. They that know Thy name will put their trust in Thee, for Thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek Thee. Therefore we wait only upon God, for our expectation is from Him, and He will smite our enemies upon the cheek bone and break the teeth of the ungodly in His own time and way.

You ask for vengeance and for the scattering of foes. Know that vengeance belongs unto the Lord. There is appointed a day of vengeance for all the enemies of Christ, and the year of acceptance to believers will be a day of vengeance to those who obey not His gospel. Yet remember that the great vengeance with its iron rod once stood and with collected might bruised the harmless Lamb of God in Gethsemane, that the redeemed might know the year of His redeemed is come. Because Christ bore the waves and billows of divine wrath, we now leave all recompense in the hands of Him who judges righteously, and we do not seek our own revenge, but trust Him to overrule all ills within the fence of omnipotent providence.

Let us pray together to our Divine Deliverer through Jesus Christ alone, by whom alone salvation comes.

O Lord, Thou hast chastened us sorely, yet Thou hast not given us over unto death. We ask not of angels, but of Thee who art Lord of angels, to keep us this year by Thy free grace. Bring us forth out of every Egypt of sorrow by Thy mighty hand, guide our steps, illuminate our path by Thy Word and Spirit, and bring peace to our hearts as we sit upon the Rock of Ages above the waves. Scatter, in Thy wisdom, the designs of those who plot against us, and turn their hearts if it be Thy will, for Thou canst turn the heart and take away the desire for vengeance from us. Keep our faith alive, that we may not die but live and declare the works of the Lord, giving all honor of deliverance to Thee alone. We ask this not because we are worthy, but because Thou hast found a ransom in the blood of Thy dear Son, in whose name we come. Amen.

Your prayer for protection and guidance this year has been heard, and we thank you for sharing your heart so openly. It is good and right to seek the Lord for shelter, for wisdom for each step, and for peace in the midst of struggle, for He alone is the source of all blessing and the one who commands all things for our good.

At the same time, Scripture calls us to bring our desires before God in a way that reflects His character. The longing for vengeance and for the scattering and destruction of those who have plotted against you is understandable when you have suffered loss and harm, yet God teaches us a different path. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, and He will repay in perfect justice and in His perfect time. Our calling is not to hate those who grieve us, but to bear their spiteful acts with meekness, to pray for them, and to leave judgment in God's hands. As we have often taught, we punish ourselves by hating others, and we benefit ourselves by loving them. When we learn not to be angry with those who injure us, we are freed from continual anger and sorrow, and we gain fortitude, patience, mildness and peace. This does not mean your pain is not real, but that God uses even persecution and affliction to form patience in us and to set us above fear, teaching us to despise not our enemies but the power of sin and death itself, which Christ has already conquered.

You also mentioned calling upon your guardian angel. We understand the comfort of knowing that God gives His angels charge over His people, as Psalm 91 says, and that they serve Him as ministering spirits. Yet our prayers are to be directed to God Himself through Jesus Christ alone, for He is the one mediator and the one who offered Himself to deliver us from evil and to bring us into sonship. Angels walk among us as servants of God, but they are not to be invoked as protectors in place of the Lord. It is the Lord who illuminates our path, who watches over us, and who shields us from harm according to His wisdom.

So we will pray with you and for you in this way, asking God to align our hearts with His will:

Father in heaven, we thank You that You are our refuge and strength. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, that You would guard this dear one, guide each step, and grant peace to the heart that is troubled. Protect what You have entrusted to them, and give wisdom for every activity and decision this year. Where there has been plotting or destruction, we ask for Your justice tempered with mercy, and we ask You to work in the hearts of all involved, bringing repentance and reconciliation where possible. Teach us to love our enemies and to pray for those who oppose us, freeing us from anger and despondency, and forming in us patience and endurance. Let us walk as those who belong to heaven even now, apart from turmoil and lust, trusting not in angels as our hope but in You who commands them. We ask this through Christ alone, in whom we have forgiveness and adoption. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord daily in His Word, to cast your cares upon Him, and to trust that He who sat down at the right hand of God will in His time put all enemies under His feet. He does not always deliver us from every trial immediately, but He grants us something greater, the power to stand firm, to remain gentle, and to know His presence through it all.
