Warfare

The pain and loss in your request is heard, and the sense of being robbed and spiritually oppressed in your workplace is a heavy burden to carry. Wanting God to act quickly when money and identity have been taken and when you feel surrounded by dark spiritual opposition is understandable, yet Scripture calls us to bring that pain to God in a different way than asking for the death and destruction of other people.

The Bible shows that when believers face persecution and opposition, God often uses that very pressure to refine faith and deepen love. Trials have a way of separating what is superficial from what is real, and they can cause true faith to grow and love for one another to abound. History shows that the church has often grown stronger under pressure, and that God has even used scattering and hardship to spread His purposes. This does not mean suffering is good in itself, but it means God is able to work through it for good while His righteous judgment remains in His own hands. What you are experiencing in your workplace does not mean God has abandoned you, and it is not a sign that you must take vengeance into your own prayers.

God's word is clear that vengeance belongs to Him. Passages like Psalm 35 and Psalm 94 are honest cries for justice, and Romans 12:19 reminds us to leave room for God's wrath and not avenge ourselves. The Lord will judge righteously in His time, and that judgment will be a manifest token of His justice. Our calling in the meantime is not to curse or call down plagues and bloodshed on others, but to love our enemies and pray for them as Jesus taught, and to trust God to defend, provide, and restore in His way.

That is why forgiveness is so central. Jesus taught forgiveness not as a matter of counting offenses but as a matter of the heart and spirit. To forgive from the heart is not to say the wrong did not matter, and it is not to bury the hatchet with the handle still showing. Human forgiveness often keeps a record, but God's forgiveness toward us in Christ is complete and total. He cleanses and justifies, remembering our sin no more. We are called to follow that example and to forgive as God for Christ's sake has forgiven us. This is not something we can manufacture on our own. We must be willing and ask God to give us the spirit of forgiveness, to take away bitterness and give a heart that releases others to Him. Scripture ties this forgiving spirit directly to our own spiritual health and peace. Holding onto a desire for others to be destroyed keeps the soul in bondage, while releasing them to God's justice opens the way for healing.

Regarding the fear of occult power, witchcraft, and marine spirits, the Bible warns that involvement with the occult does open people to demonic influence, but our victory is not found in focusing on fetishes or sanctuaries or trying to curse them to ashes. Deliverance is not found by seeking deliverance itself, but by seeking the Deliverer. When the power and presence of Jesus Christ fills a life, the power of darkness must give way. Rather than praying for the destruction of people who may be caught in darkness, pray that the power of God would come upon you, guard your mind and heart, and fill any empty place so that you are not left vulnerable. Ask Christ to be your protection, your wisdom, and your strength at work.

I will pray for you in this biblical direction. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I bring this dear one before You. You see the theft of money and documents, the stress at work, and the fear of spiritual attack. I ask You to be a shield and a defender, to bring Your peace where there is anxiety, and to provide wisely for every practical need. Lead toward lawful and wise steps to recover what was stolen and to protect identity, and give favor and integrity in the workplace. Grant a willing heart to forgive as You have forgiven, taking away bitterness and giving a spirit of forgiveness and love. Fill this life with Your presence and power so that no work of darkness has a foothold, and deliver from every evil work according to Your will. I also pray for those who have done wrong, that You would bring conviction, repentance, and salvation through Jesus Christ alone, for You desire that none perish. Preserve and keep this one unto Your heavenly kingdom, and cause faith to grow and love to abound even in this hard season. Amen.

Continue to walk closely with Jesus, stay in the Scriptures, stay in fellowship with faithful believers who can support you, and use lawful means to address theft and workplace wrongs. Leave judgment to the Lord, keep your heart forgiving and trusting, and let your focus be on knowing Christ more fully, for in Him is your true security and deliverance.
