We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, recognizing the spiritual warfare you are facing in your neighborhood, workplace, and even among those who should be close to you. The Bible makes it clear that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12). We stand with you in this battle, knowing that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4).
First, we must address the mention of witchcraft, fetish practices, and magic in your request. The Word of God is explicit in its condemnation of such things. Exodus 22:18 declares, "You shall not allow a sorceress to live." Deuteronomy 18:10-12 also warns, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." These practices are detestable to the Lord, and we must stand firmly against them in the name of Jesus.
We rebuke every evil tongue that has risen against you, whether in your neighborhood, among friends, family, or coworkers. The tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity, and it defiles the whole body (James 3:6). But we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Let the Lord rebuke those who speak evil against you, as it is written, "Let the lying lips be mute, which speak against the righteous insolently, with pride and contempt" (Psalm 31:18).
You have called upon the plagues and scourges that fell upon Egypt, and we stand on the authority of God’s Word. Just as the Lord brought judgment upon Pharaoh and his people for their hardness of heart, we pray that He would expose and dismantle every work of darkness arrayed against you. Exodus 7:14-24 through Exodus 12 details the ten plagues that fell upon Egypt, and we declare that every scheme of the enemy against you shall be turned back upon them. As it is written, "The wicked plots against the just, and gnashes at him with his teeth. The Lord will laugh at him, for he sees that his day is coming" (Psalm 37:12-13).
We also address the mention of animals being sent against you. This is a tactic of the enemy to harass and torment, but we declare that every creature sent to harm you shall be turned back. The Lord is your refuge and fortress, and He shall give His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11). We pray that every rat, cat, dog, hen, cock, mosquito, cockroach, and gecko sent against you would be bound and rendered powerless in the name of Jesus. Just as the Lord sent hornets before the Israelites to drive out their enemies (Joshua 24:12), we pray that He would send His angels to scatter and confuse those who seek to harm you.
We rebuke every sanctuary, fetish, and altar of witchcraft that has been erected against you. Just as the Lord rained fire and brimstone upon Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 19:24), we pray that every work of darkness would be consumed by fire. Let them be as chaff before the wind, and let the angel of Yahweh drive them away (Psalm 35:5). We declare that every hidden thing shall be brought to light, and every secret thing shall be made known (Luke 8:17). Let the fire of God fall upon every ungodly altar and reduce it to ashes, never to rise again.
We must also remind you that our battle is not against people, but against the spiritual forces behind their actions. Jesus taught us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). While we stand firmly against the works of darkness, we must also pray for the salvation of those who are lost in these practices. The Lord desires that none should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We pray that the hearts of those who oppose you would be softened, and that they would come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
Now, let us pray together in the authority of Jesus’ name:
Heavenly Father, we come before You as Your children, clothed in the righteousness of Christ and armed with the power of Your Holy Spirit. We lift up our brother/sister who is facing spiritual warfare on every side. Lord, You are the God who fights for Your people, and we ask that You would arise in this situation. Let Your enemies be scattered, and let those who hate You flee before You (Psalm 68:1).
We declare that every evil tongue that has spoken against our brother/sister is silenced in the name of Jesus. Let the words of their mouth and the meditation of their heart be brought to nothing, O Lord (Psalm 19:14). We rebuke every spirit of witchcraft, divination, and sorcery that has been unleashed against them. Let every fetish, altar, and sanctuary of darkness be consumed by Your holy fire, reduced to ashes, and blown away by the wind of Your Spirit.
Father, we ask that You would send Your angels to encamp around our brother/sister, protecting them from every harm and every creature sent to torment them. Just as You sent plagues upon Egypt to deliver Your people, we pray that You would turn back every scheme of the enemy against them. Let the blood of Jesus be a shield around them, and let every plan of the wicked be thwarted.
Lord, we also pray for those who have set themselves against Your child. Soften their hearts, open their eyes to the truth of Your Word, and lead them to repentance. Let them see the futility of their ways and turn to You for salvation. May they come to know the love and grace of Jesus Christ, who died for their sins and rose again for their justification.
We declare that no weapon formed against our brother/sister shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned. We stand on the promise that You will never leave nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5), and that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness, Your protection, and Your deliverance. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that the battle belongs to the Lord. Put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18) and remain steadfast in prayer. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9). Continue to seek His face, meditate on His Word, and trust in His promises. The victory is already yours in Christ Jesus.
