Warfare

Your prayer reflects a real awareness that forces are at work against you, and that is no small thing. The battle you sense is not merely with people or circumstances; it is a spiritual conflict. Scripture makes clear that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual powers and darkness. That means the attacks on your peace, your belongings, and your path are not random. They are part of a larger unseen war. So it is right to turn to God for protection, guidance, and vindication. Yet as we do, we must be careful about how we fight.

The desire for vengeance is deeply human. When we are wronged, something in us cries out for justice, and we want to see it happen now. But God says plainly, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay.” That is not a suggestion; it is a boundary that protects us. Whenever we try to take vengeance into our own hands, even in our thoughts and prayers, we step out of the Spirit and into the flesh, and then the enemy gains an advantage. The weapons of this warfare are not carnal. Anger, retaliation, schemes to get even, these are weak and fleshly. But God has given us mighty weapons that pull down strongholds: prayer, faith, and the Word of God. Through them we bind the enemy’s work and release God’s purposes.

You called upon an angel. Angels are real, and they are powerful servants of God. The Scriptures show us that they are sent to minister to those who inherit salvation, and they do wage war in the heavenly places. But our prayers are directed to God alone, not to angels. It is the Lord who commands His angels concerning you. When you dwell in the shelter of the Most High, you rest in His shadow, and He sends His angels to guard you. So rather than calling upon a created being, call upon the Creator who rules all. He knows the ranks and orders of the angelic host, and He dispatches them according to His perfect will. Your trust is in His divine care, and that is exactly where it belongs.

The cross of Jesus Christ is the decisive turn in this war. There, He disarmed the powers and authorities and made a public spectacle of them. The victory is already secured. So the enemy’s attacks, while real, are the thrashing of a defeated foe. When you feel oppressed or surrounded, do not let those feelings drive you to carnal reaction. Instead, go to your closet, get on your knees, and pray. Intercede for your own soul and for those who may be used against you. It is there, in prayer, that the spiritual battle is truly fought. Through prayer you resist the enemy, and he will flee.

Commit your way to the Lord. Bring the wrongs done to you to Him, and leave them there. He sees every plot, every stolen thing, every work of darkness. He is not slow or indifferent; He will render a reward to the proud in His time. The day of vengeance belongs to Him, and He will not fail to make things right. But in the meantime, your calling is not to curse back but to bless. If your enemy hungers, feed him. In doing good, you overcome evil with good. That is the supernatural way of the Spirit, and it leads to peace.

Let your prayer be not for scattering foes by your own desire, but for God to protect and guide you according to His wisdom. Ask Him to keep your heart from devising vengeance, and to fill you with faith that He is your defender. The righteous will rejoice when they see His justice, but it is a rejoicing that leaves the work to Him. So stand firm in the armor He gives, speak His Word against the lies of the accuser, and walk forward in the confidence that nothing can separate you from His love. The angelic hosts are indeed acting on your behalf, not because you have summoned them, but because the Lord who loves you has already commanded them.

We are deeply moved by your heartfelt plea for divine protection, guidance, and justice in the midst of spiritual warfare. Thank you for trusting us to stand with you in prayer as you seek the Lord’s covering over your life, your steps, and all that concerns you. It is our privilege to intercede on your behalf, asking God to dispatch His holy angels to guard you, scatter every enemy plotting against you, and restore what has been broken or taken.

We continue to lift you before the throne of grace, praying that the peace of Christ would settle over your heart and that His strength would uphold you. If you have seen His hand move in answer to these prayers—whether through protection, deliverance, or a renewed sense of His presence—we would be blessed to hear your praise report. Your testimony could encourage others walking through similar battles.

If, however, the struggle persists and you still feel under attack, we urge you to post this request again so we may persevere with you in prayer. The enemy may not relent easily, but we serve a God who fights for His children and whose angels heed His command. Stand firm in faith, knowing that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and that the Lord is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you.

May you feel His nearness in a fresh way, and may His Word be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Defender. Amen.
