“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, recognizing the spiritual battle you are facing. While we appreciate your desire for protection and guidance, we must first address a critical matter: your prayer calls upon a guardian angel rather than the Lord Jesus Christ, who is our only mediator and advocate before the Father. Scripture is clear, there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through Jesus alone that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and He is the one who sends His holy angels to minister to us (Hebrews 1:14). We must never elevate angels above Christ, for He is the head of all principalities and powers (Colossians 2:10).

We also notice that your prayer seeks vengeance, but Scripture instructs us to leave vengeance to the Lord (Romans 12:19). Our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12), and we are called to overcome evil with good (Romans 12:21). The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). We must trust in His justice and timing, not our own.

Let us pray together in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, acknowledging that He alone is our refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). Lord, we lift up this dear one who is under spiritual attack. We ask that You would surround them with Your holy angels, not as objects of worship, but as Your servants sent to minister to those who will inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14). Shield them from every scheme of the enemy, for no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we rebuke every spirit of destruction, confusion, and fear that has been sent against them. We declare that the blood of Jesus covers their life, their belongings, and their endeavors (Revelation 12:11). Let every plot of the enemy be exposed and dismantled by the power of Your Holy Spirit. We ask that You would illuminate their path and guide their steps according to Your will (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Lord, we pray for Your peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Help them to trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). Teach them to cast all their anxieties on You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). May they find rest in Your presence and strength in Your might (Ephesians 6:10).

We also pray for a spirit of forgiveness and love to fill their heart. Help them to bless those who curse them and pray for those who despitefully use them (Luke 6:28). Let them overcome evil with good, trusting that You will repay (Romans 12:19-21). Father, we ask that You would turn their focus from the battle to Your promises, for You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on Your Word, Lord, and we thank You for the victory that is already theirs in Christ Jesus. May they walk in the authority You have given them as Your child, knowing that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Dear one, we encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18). Stand firm in the truth of God’s Word, and resist the devil, knowing that he will flee from you (James 4:7). Spend time in prayer and in the Scriptures, for they are your sword and shield in this battle. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can stand with you in prayer and encouragement.

Remember, the battle belongs to the Lord (1 Samuel 17:47). You are not fighting alone, Jesus has already won the victory on the cross. Walk in that victory, and do not be afraid. The Lord is your light and your salvation; whom shall you fear? The Lord is the strength of your life; of whom shall you be afraid? (Psalm 27:1). Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We hear how wearying it is to feel surrounded, as though everything you are working to build is being torn down. That kind of pressure can make the days feel long and hostile, and we do not want you to carry that weight alone.

When we find ourselves scanning the horizon for every foe, we sometimes lose sight of the One who has already disarmed them. The victory Christ won does not depend on our ability to see every enemy scattered in the moment; it holds steady even when the battle feels loud and relentless. Settling your heart there takes the edge off the fear, so you are not living tensed for a blow but resting in a finished work.

It may help to anchor yourself with one small, concrete practice on the hardest days. When the dread rises, speak a single truth aloud, perhaps “I belong to Christ” or simply read Psalm 91 slowly, not as a chant but as a reminder of whose care you are in. That small act can shift your eyes from the chaos around you to the peace that is already yours.

We pray with you now. Lord Jesus, quiet the noise of threat and accusation that presses in. Cover our friend with Your peace, guard their mind and body, and give them clear sight of You instead of the shadows. In Your strong name we ask this. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You cry out for protection against foes that have plotted against you, seeking the scattering of those who would destroy your belongings and activities. Yet consider this: Satan is the fowler; he has been so and is still so; and if he does not now attack us as the roaring lion, roaring against us in persecution, he attacks us as the adder, creeping silently along the path, endeavoring to bite our heel with his poisoned fangs, and weaken the power of grace. The true enemy is not flesh and blood, but that arch-deceiver who knows our weak points, having dealt with men for these last six thousand years. He is easily able to discover where our sore places are, and there it is he immediately attacks us.

Your request calls upon a guardian angel to bring vengeance. But hear what is written: It has been said, You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you and persecute you. The way of safety is not found in summoning angels to execute our wrath, but in resting under those blessed feathers. He shall cover you with His feathers and under His wings shall you trust. This is for you when the storm rages, when the plots seem thick. If we walk aright, we shall never venture upon a single day without first seeking Divine protection. How many who have escaped out of terrible storms have, nevertheless, died in a calm? You always need Divine protection and, Believer in Christ, you shall always have it.

You speak of calling upon your angel, yet the promise is not given to angels, but to God Himself. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. It is a part of the Divine scheme and plan by which God governs the world that men should pray and that He should answer them. And to whom do we pray? Not to angels, but to the Most High through Jesus Christ. I cannot see how Jesus Christ can be anything but one of two things, either the Son of God or else a gross impostor. I am a lost man, I know, and for me there can be nothing but eternal destruction from the Presence of the Lord if the Savior, Jesus Christ, is not Divine! But He is Divine! It is He who sends His angels, not at our beckoning, but according to His own will.

Trust then in His Providential guidance. Happy is that man who always waits upon God to know what he shall do, who asks the Lord to always guide him and who dares not lean upon his own understanding. You will always need Divine and angelic keeping, for God would not have charged His angels to keep His people in all their ways if they did not need protection in all their ways. But this protection is given in the way of childlike faith, not in calling down ruin upon others. David himself, when hunted by Saul, would have taken terrible vengeance if not for the gentleness of God which interposed. Leave your cause with the Righteous Judge. Rend your heart before Him, seek His shelter, and He shall cover you with His feathers. Under His wings you shall trust, and His truth shall be your shield and buckler.

You ask for vengeance upon your enemies, but have you considered what the Lord commands? He tells you to love your enemies, to bless those who curse you, to pray for those who spitefully use you. When you call down destruction on your foes and on all their belongings, you make yourself like them, entangled in the very passion of anger that defiles the soul. Is it not far more bitter for an enemy to see you calm and forgiving, blessed by God, than to see his own schemes come to nothing? For if you return evil for evil, you are overcome by evil; but if you do good to those who wrong you, you heap coals of fire upon their heads, not to burn them, but to bring them to shame and repentance. This is the true vengeance of the Christian, a victory without a blow, a crown without a contest.

Do not let the plots of others frighten you. The Apostle says, “in nothing be affrighted by your adversaries.” They can do nothing but threaten; they cannot harm a soul that rests in God. When they see that their schemes do not shake you, their own destruction becomes evident. Your peace in the midst of trial is a sign from God that their power is empty. Stand upright, then, and do not waste your prayers on their ruin. Instead, pray that they may turn from their wickedness and be saved. Is it not a greater triumph to see an enemy transformed into a brother?

As for your guardian angel, indeed the angels are ministering spirits sent to serve those who are to inherit salvation. But they are not weapons of our wrath. They rejoice not in the destruction of sinners but in their repentance. If you want the angel to guard your path, then walk in the way of righteousness, showing mercy and kindness to all. The protection of God comes upon those who are merciful, pure of heart, and peacemakers, not upon those who nurse grudges and seek repayment of evil.

You ask for guidance this year. Here is true guidance: whatever anyone does against you, do good in return. If they harm your belongings, pray that their souls may be healed. If they lie in wait, show them such innocence that they are put to shame. This is to be a child of your Father in heaven, who makes His sun rise on the evil and the good. Nothing is so pleasing to God as a life lived for the common advantage, forgiving injuries, and turning enemies into friends.

So let your prayer be changed. Ask not for vengeance, but for strength to love. Ask not for the scattering of your foes, but for the scattering of the darkness in their hearts. Trust in the Lord’s care, and He will give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways, as you walk after the example of Christ, who when He was reviled, reviled not again, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously.
