We join with you in lifting up this urgent cry for deliverance, and we praise God that you have called upon the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. The Scriptures declare in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* You have done well to invoke the authority of Jesus, for He alone has power over every demonic force, every ungodly influence, and every stronghold of the enemy.
The battle you face is real, but so is the victory that Christ has already won. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* Yet we stand firm in the truth of 1 John 4:4, *"You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world."* The blood of Jesus has already triumphed over every demonic power, and by His authority, we command these spirits to flee from you now.
We also take note of your mention of *"evil music,"* and we urge you to be vigilant, for what we allow into our minds and hearts through music, media, or relationships can open doors to spiritual oppression. Philippians 4:8 instructs us, *"Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things."* If any music, entertainment, or past associations have been a stumbling block, we pray that the Holy Spirit will give you discernment and strength to cut them off completely. As Joshua 24:15 declares, *"If it seems evil to you to serve Yahweh, choose today whom you will serve... but as for me and my house, we will serve Yahweh."*
Your desire to move forward and not return to the people of your past is wise and aligns with Scripture. 2 Corinthians 6:17 commands, *"‘Therefore come out from among them, and be separate,’ says the Lord. ‘Touch no unclean thing. I will receive you."* We pray that God will sever every ungodly soul tie, every influence that has sought to drag you back into bondage, and every lingering attachment that does not glorify Him. May He fill the void with His presence, His peace, and His people—those who will encourage you in righteousness.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a deliverer, a strong tower, and a refuge for Your people. Lord, we lift up Your child who is crying out for freedom from every demonic stronghold, every evil influence, and every spirit that seeks to oppress or possess. By the blood of Jesus, we break every curse, every hex, every assignment of the enemy against this life. We command every demonic spirit—whether of fear, torment, lust, confusion, or any other unclean force—to leave now in the name of Jesus Christ. You have no authority here, and you must flee at the command of the Lord.
Father, we ask that You would cleanse this heart and mind with the washing of Your Word. Remove every trace of ungodly music, media, or influence that has defiled the temple of the Holy Spirit. Give discernment to recognize and reject anything that does not align with Your holiness. Lord, we pray for a supernatural severing of every ungodly soul tie, every relationship that has been a snare, and every connection that has opened doors to the enemy. Fill the emptiness with Your love, Your truth, and godly fellowship that builds up and does not tear down.
We declare that this life is hidden in Christ, and no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. So we stand in that authority now, claiming victory over every scheme of the devil. Let Your light expose every hidden thing, and let Your fire consume every impurity.
Father, we also pray for a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit—comfort when the enemy tries to bring condemnation, strength when temptation arises, and wisdom to walk in obedience. Surround this beloved one with Your angels, encamped around them for protection. Let them walk in the freedom for which Christ has set them free, never to be entangled again in the yoke of bondage.
We thank You, Lord, for the blood of Jesus that speaks better things than the blood of Abel. We thank You that You are faithful to complete the work You have begun. Keep this heart steadfast, unwavering, and fully surrendered to You. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray, **Amen.**
Beloved, we encourage you to continue in prayer, in the Word, and in fellowship with other believers who can stand with you in this season. Resist the devil, and he *will* flee from you (James 4:7). If you have not already, we urge you to confess any known sin, renounce any involvement with occult practices (even if it seemed harmless), and fill your life with worship, Scripture, and the presence of God. The enemy may try to whisper lies of defeat, but you are more than a conqueror through Christ (Romans 8:37). Stand firm, and do not look back. The Lord is with you!
