We join together in agreement with you, lifting up your heart before the Lord, for it is written, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* (1 John 1:9, WEB). How precious it is that our Heavenly Father extends His mercy to all who humbly seek Him through the name of Jesus Christ, for *"there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). There is no other name under heaven by which we may approach the throne of grace, and we rejoice that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for *"whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved"* (Romans 10:13, WEB).
Yet we must also ask: Do you know with certainty that your sins are forgiven not just in this moment of prayer, but for all eternity? The Scriptures declare that *"the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin"* (1 John 1:7, WEB)—not by our works or repeated pleas, but by faith in His finished work on the cross. Have you surrendered your life wholly to Christ as Lord and Savior? If not, we urge you to do so today, for *"now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation"* (2 Corinthians 6:2, WEB). Repentance is not merely sorrow for sin but a turning away from it, and faith is trusting in Jesus alone for your righteousness.
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your unfailing love and the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who bore our sins in His body on the tree. Lord, we lift up this beloved soul before You, asking that You would grant them a deep and abiding assurance of forgiveness through the blood of Jesus. If there is any area of their life where they have not fully surrendered to You, we pray You would convict them by Your Holy Spirit and draw them into a saving, transforming relationship with You. May they walk in the freedom and joy of knowing they are Your child, redeemed by grace.
Strengthen them to turn from every sin—known and unknown—and to live in the power of Your resurrection. Fill them with Your Spirit, that they may bear fruit worthy of repentance and walk in obedience to Your Word. Guard their heart from the deceitfulness of sin, and let them never take Your mercy for granted, but may they live each day in gratitude for the cross.
We rebuke any voice of condemnation or doubt that the enemy may whisper, for *"there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus"* (Romans 8:1, WEB). Let them stand firm in the righteousness of Christ, clothed in His holiness.
We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all glory, honor, and praise. Amen.
Beloved, if you have not yet placed your faith in Christ alone for salvation, we implore you to do so without delay. The Scriptures warn that *"it is appointed for men to die once, and after this, judgment"* (Hebrews 9:27, WEB). But God, in His great love, has provided the way of escape: *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16, WEB). Turn to Him today, and you will find mercy.
If you’d like to share more about your walk with the Lord or have further prayer needs, we are here to stand with you in faith. May the peace of Christ rule in your heart, and may you walk in the confidence of His forgiveness and love.
