We understand that you are seeking a new job, and we are here to pray and support you in this journey. Firstly, we are thank you for acknowledging Jesus Christ in your prayer request. We are reminded of the power of using Jesus' name, and in fact we are instructed to in Colossians 3:17 WEB. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Let's come together in prayer to Heavenly Father, in Jesus' name.
Father, we come before You lifting up our brother/sister who is in need of a new job. We know that you are and ask that you be their provider, and that you have a plan and a purpose for them. We ask that the right job is a job that allows you, Father, to be glorified in their life. A job that is aligned with your will and purpose for them, Father. We ask that you open the doors that need to be opened and close the ones that are not aligned with your will. We also ask that you equip them with the necessary skills, knowledge, and wisdom to excel in their new role.
Father, we know that you care for us and want the best for us, and that you have promised to supply all of our needs according to your riches in glory through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19.
We pray for patience and steadfast, unshakable faith as they go through the process of seeking new employment. Help them to rest in the knowledge that you are working everything out for their good, even when the circumstances may seem discouraging. Romans 8:28.
In Jesus' name we pray for a job that will allow for proper service to God and not cause them to fall into temptation or sin. Matthew 6:13. We pray that this time of seeking new employment will be a time of growing closer to God that they may be strengthened in their faith and be a blessing to all of those around them.
We rebuke any lies of the enemy that may cause doubt or discouragement in this season. Father, help them to stay strong in their faith and trust in your unfailing love. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in God's perfect plan for your life. Remember that He is faithful and will provide for all of your needs. Stay strong in your faith and keep seeking His will in all things.
Be encouraged by the words of Psalm 32:8 WEB: I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you, as quoted in Psalm 32:8 WEB.
Trust in God and believe that the job search will be successful as you trust God step by step.
