Please pray that ### will return home. He slept over without permission. Please remove his friends with and bad influence

We join with you in prayer for ### and we understand the worry and ache you feel when a child leaves without permission and does not return home when expected. We bring him before the Lord asking for his safe return and for the Lord to guard his heart and his steps.
We pray that God will place a desire in ### to honor his parents and to return home quickly and safely. Scripture teaches us Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise, that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth. Ephesians 6:1-3. We also remember Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6. We ask the Lord to work in ### a spirit of obedience, respect, and understanding that his parents' boundaries are given out of love and for his protection.
We also lift up your concern about his friendships and bad influence. The Word warns us plainly, Don't be deceived. Evil companionships corrupt good morals. 1 Corinthians 15:33 and He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm. Proverbs 13:20. We pray that the Lord will remove any friendships that lead ### away from what is right and that He will bring godly influences into his life, friends who will encourage him toward wisdom and purity and respect for authority. We ask God to give ### discernment to recognize when he is being led astray and courage to step away.
We also pray for you as you wait and as you guide him. We ask for wisdom, patience, and loving firmness, that you may correct in love and not in anger, and that your home would be a place of grace and truth where ### feels safe to return and to be honest. We pray for open and calm communication when he does return, that you can speak the truth in love and establish clear consequences and expectations that help him grow in responsibility.
We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. It is by putting our faith in Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again, that we are forgiven and brought near to God. We encourage you to place your trust in Him and to pray in His name.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up ### to You. Lord, You see where he is and You know his heart. We ask that You keep him safe from harm and bring him home swiftly and without incident. Speak to his heart wherever he is and draw him to do what is right, to honor his parents and to return home. Remove from his life any companions who would lead him into disobedience or danger and surround him with wise and godly friends who will help him walk in Your ways. Give his loved ones peace as they wait, and guard them from fear, reminding them that You keep watch over Your children. When ### returns, grant wisdom for loving correction and for restoration, that this experience would become a turning point toward maturity and obedience. We have heard your burden for ### and we join with you in prayer that the Lord will bring him safely home again.
There is a voice that cries out of Scripture with great eagerness and earnestness, Return, return. It is the voice of the Lord Himself who says, Return now every one from his evil way. We pray that ### will hear that voice today and that this return will be immediate. You cannot too soon be safe and therefore you cannot too soon return. May the Lord incline his heart to turn from the path of disobedience and to come home without delay, where he is loved and sought for.
We pray also concerning obedience, for obedience is the highest practical courage and the very essence of obedience lies in exactness. To turn not to the right hand or to the left but to walk in the straight path of duty requires grace and strength. We ask the Lord to work in ### a willing and cheerful obedience, not the obedience of a slave under the whip but the obedience of a child who desires to please his father and mother. May he be given a heart that seeks to know the Lord's will and to do it, and that looks out for occasions to honor those placed over him.
We ask the Lord to deliver him from companions who would entice him away. As you have asked, we pray that the influence of friends who lead toward selfishness and worldliness would be broken and removed from him, and that the Lord would bring instead into his life those who fear God and love His ways. Let the entreaties of destroyers have no power over him, but let him hear chiefly that dear voice which calls, Return, return.
And for you who wait and watch, we pray that you may know the comfort of that promise, He shall cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings shalt thou trust. The child of God is at home under the shadow of the Almighty. May the Lord keep ### under His own covering this night, preserve him from danger, and verify His promise to those who trust Him. May He guard his steps and bring him back in peace, and give you wisdom and patience to receive him with firm love and grace.

We pray that the Father who loves and keeps His children will watch over ### where he is, guard him from harm, and guide his steps safely home. We pray also that the Lord will separate him from companions who lead him away from what is good, and bring into his life friends who love what is right and will encourage him in a faithful path.
We pray for your home, that it may be knit together in love and piety, as the house of Abraham was, where husband and wife and children and all in the household sought the same good things of God. When he returns, receive him with firm love and gentle instruction. Do not let anger or harsh words rule in that moment, but practice patience and self control at home, so that correction may be given in love and be heard. Speak to him calmly about obedience, about honoring those God has placed over him, and about choosing companions wisely, for one bad influence can trouble a whole house.
May the Lord grant you grace to entreat Him with tears and perseverance, to give thanks even in this worry, and to trust that He hears the prayers of those who seek Him. May He keep ### safe, bring him home soon, and establish your household in peace and in the fear of God.
