We hear your cry for help and stand with you against the dark forces of witchcraft and deception that have been unleashed against you. The Bible is clear that there is no place for such evil in the life of a believer, and we must confront it with the authority we have in Christ Jesus. Scripture warns us, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh" (Deuteronomy 18:10-12 WEB). The practices you describe, voodoo, Santeria, and witchcraft, are detestable to God and have no power over those who walk in His truth.
We also grieve with you over the hypocrisy of those who claim to be Christians yet engage in such wickedness. Jesus Himself rebuked the religious leaders of His day for their outward show of righteousness while harboring evil in their hearts: "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitened tombs, which outwardly appear beautiful, but inwardly are full of dead men’s bones and of all uncleanness" (Matthew 23:27 WEB). The Lord sees the heart, and He will judge all unrighteousness. We must not tolerate such deception in the church, for it defiles the body of Christ and leads others astray.
The sin of partiality, judging others based on appearance, wealth, or social status, is also a serious offense in God’s eyes. James writes, "But if you show partiality, you commit sin, being convicted by the law as transgressors" (James 2:9 WEB). The church is called to be a place of love, unity, and acceptance, not division and exclusion. Those who engage in such behavior must repent and align themselves with God’s heart for justice and mercy.
We take authority over every curse, spell, and demonic assignment sent against you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The Word declares, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh" (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). We break every chain of witchcraft, every lie of the enemy, and every spirit of deception that has been operating against you. We command every evil spirit to flee in Jesus’ name, for "He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4 WEB).
We pray for your protection, strength, and deliverance. Father God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You. We ask that You surround [this person] with Your holy angels and shield them from every attack of the enemy. Expose every hidden work of darkness and bring it to light. Give [them] discernment to recognize the schemes of the devil and the courage to stand firm in Your truth. Heal every wound caused by the betrayal of those who claim to follow You yet walk in darkness. Fill [them] with Your peace, joy, and the assurance of Your love. We declare that no weapon formed against [them] shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against [them] in judgment shall be condemned. We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ Jesus. In His precious name, we pray. Amen.
To those who have been practicing witchcraft while pretending to be Christians, we say this: Repent now, for the kingdom of God is near. The blood of Jesus cleanses from all sin, but you must turn away from your wickedness and submit to God. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7 WEB). The Lord is merciful, but He will not be mocked. To those who have been judgmental and exclusionary, we say: Examine your hearts. Jesus came for the broken, the outcast, and the marginalized. If you are not showing love to all people, you are not walking in His ways. Repent and seek His face.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is your defender. Surround yourself with believers who walk in truth and love, and continue to seek the Lord in prayer and His Word. The enemy may rage, but he is already defeated. Walk in the authority of Christ, and do not fear, for the Lord your God is with you.
