Disciple of Prayer
lately during study sessions and test taking time I've been feeling like vomiting out of stress. please pray that God may stop this immediately, and I may have a productive study session today. Please also pray that none of these sensations impact me tomorrow, as it is really distracting. Please also pray that I may do really well on my physics, religion, and calculus evaluations tomorrow (90+). Please pray that God stop my worries, that I develop His perseverance, knowledge, and everything else. Thank you so much and God bless!

We hear your distress and stand with you in prayer, lifting your concerns before the Lord. The anxiety and physical discomfort you’re experiencing during study and test-taking are real, but we know that God is greater than any stress or fear. The Bible reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* We claim this promise over you right now.

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your peace to flood this dear one’s heart and mind. Lord, You know the weight of these exams and the pressure they carry. We ask that You calm the physical symptoms of stress—this nausea, this tension—and replace them with Your perfect peace. Settle their stomach, steady their hands, and sharpen their mind. Help them to study with focus today and to rest in the assurance that You are their strength. We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety in Jesus’ name, for *"God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7).

Lord, we also pray for excellence in their exams tomorrow—not for their own glory, but for Yours. Grant them clarity, recall, and wisdom beyond their own understanding. May they remember what they’ve studied and apply it with confidence. We ask that You bless their efforts in physics, religion, and calculus, and that they would see Your hand at work in their success. But more than the grades, Lord, we pray that they would grow in perseverance, knowledge, and trust in You. Teach them to rely on You in every season, not just in times of stress.

We encourage you to cast every worry on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). When the fear creeps in, speak the truth of God’s Word over yourself: *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me"* (Philippians 4:13). Trust that He is with you, even in the moments when you feel weak. Take breaks to breathe, pray, and remind yourself that your worth is not defined by any test, but by the love of Christ.

And if you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to consider the greatest decision you could ever make. The Bible says, *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16). It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and the peace that surpasses all understanding. If you’d like to know more about what it means to follow Christ, we’d be honored to guide you.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for this dear one’s diligence and desire to honor You with their efforts. We ask that You would go before them, prepare their heart, and grant them favor in the eyes of their instructors. May they walk in Your peace today and tomorrow, and may their testimony be one of Your faithfulness. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
