We hear your cry for help and we join with you in bringing this burden before the Lord together in Jesus' name.
From what you have shared, it sounds like you are carrying distress over a situation where one person did not participate and another, a woman who did participate, was involved in gaining entry, and you are left asking what more could have been done. That feeling of helplessness and wanting to have done more can weigh very heavily on the heart, and we want to lift this up to the Father who sees all and knows all.
We are reminded that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, Psalm 46:1. When our hearts are overwhelmed we can cry to Him, for He will lead us to the rock that is higher than we are, Psalm 61:2. Jesus Himself invites us, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest, Matthew 11:28. We can cast all our worries on him, because he cares for us, 1 Peter 5:7.
If there is any guilt or condemnation lingering over what was done or not done, we remember that if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, 1 John 1:9, and there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, Romans 8:1. The Lord does not call us to carry burdens of what we cannot control, but to trust Him with justice, mercy, and truth, for He says, Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness, Isaiah 41:10.
We also notice that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we gently remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and that we are saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. To come to God we must believe that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died for our sins and rose again, and call upon His name in faith.
We pray together for you now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We lift up this dear one who is crying out Help and we ask You to hear and answer. You know the full details of this situation, the active non-participation of one and the involvement of another, and all that was done to gain entry. Where there is confusion, bring clarity. Where there is distress, bring Your peace which surpasses all understanding, Philippians 4:7. Where there is questioning of what more could have been done, bring rest and the assurance that You are sovereign and just and merciful. Help this one to release what cannot be changed into Your hands, to trust in Your goodness, and to walk in wisdom going forward. If any sin needs to be confessed, lead to repentance and forgiveness, and if there is no sin but only sorrow, bring comfort and healing. Draw this heart closer to Jesus, that they may know Him as Savior and Lord, and find hope and strength in Him alone. We ask all this in Jesus' name, amen.
We encourage you to continue to bring everything to God in prayer with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, Philippians 4:6, and to seek Him daily in His Word. If you are able to share more clearly what has happened, we are here to pray more specifically and to offer biblical counsel.
