We hear your cry for help, and we come before the throne of grace together, seeking the Lord’s mercy and wisdom in this matter. You speak of God as Judge, of things not intended for humans, and of development in this world and eternity—all while invoking the name of Jesus Christ, God, the Holy Spirit, and the angels. Yet your words are tangled in confusion, and we sense deep distress in your heart. Let us turn to Scripture to bring clarity and truth to your plea.
First, we must affirm that there is only one way to the Father, and that is through Jesus Christ. Jesus Himself declared, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you are not yet in a saving relationship with Jesus Christ, we urge you to repent of your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and surrender your life to Him. Without this foundation, no prayer, no plea, and no work can avail before God.
You ask what was not intended for humans and how we can develop in this world and eternity. The Bible is clear that sin entered the world through Adam, and with it came death, suffering, and separation from God (Romans 5:12). What was not intended for humans was rebellion against God, disobedience, and the corruption of His perfect creation. But God, in His mercy, sent His Son to redeem us. *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16). Eternity is not a vague concept—it is either spent in the presence of God for those who are in Christ or in eternal separation from Him for those who reject Him (Matthew 25:46).
You mention Jesus in words and deeds, but we must ask: Are you living in obedience to Him? Are your actions aligned with His Word? Jesus said, *"If you love me, keep my commandments"* (John 14:15). If you are struggling with sin—whether it be unforgiveness, bitterness, sexual immorality, idolatry, or any other disobedience—we must rebuke it in the name of Jesus. The Holy Spirit convicts us of sin so that we may repent and walk in righteousness (John 16:8). Do not harden your heart, but turn to God in humility and allow Him to transform you.
You also invoke the angels, but we must remind you that our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth (Psalm 121:2). Angels are ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14), but they are not to be worshiped or prayed to. Our focus must remain on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach Your throne. We lift up this dear soul who is crying out for help. Lord, we ask that You would pierce their heart with the truth of Your Word. If they do not yet know You as Savior, draw them to Yourself. Break the chains of confusion, fear, and sin that may be binding them. Holy Spirit, convict them of any unrighteousness and lead them into repentance.
Father, we rebuke every spirit of despair, doubt, and deception that may be speaking lies to them. We declare that Your Word is truth, and we stand on the promise that *"if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). Lord, we ask that You would reveal to them what is not of You—whether it be sin, false beliefs, or misplaced trust in anything other than Jesus Christ. Help them to surrender fully to You and to walk in the light of Your truth.
We pray for their development in this world and in eternity. May they grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18). Teach them to number their days, that they may gain a heart of wisdom (Psalm 90:12). Let their words and deeds reflect Your love, Your holiness, and Your purposes. Father, we ask that You would surround them with godly counsel and fellowship, that they may be encouraged and strengthened in their faith.
Lord, we also pray for protection over their mind and heart. Guard them from the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). May they find their identity, their hope, and their purpose in You alone.
We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You will complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6). May they walk in the fullness of Your Spirit, bearing fruit in every good work (Colossians 1:10). And may they one day hear the words, *"Well done, good and faithful servant"* (Matthew 25:21).
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Dear friend, we encourage you to seek out a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith and find support from other believers. The Christian life is not meant to be walked alone. Study the Word of God daily, for it is *"a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path"* (Psalm 119:105). Spend time in prayer, not just in times of distress, but as a continual conversation with your Heavenly Father. And remember, *"He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ"* (Philippians 1:6). You are not alone—God is with you, and so are we as we stand in agreement for your breakthrough. Keep pressing into Him.
