🍇 Grace to freely receive mercy and find grace as we draw near the Throne of Grace with confidence through Jesus Christ (our Sympathetic High Priest, Heb 4:15-16, (The One Mediator between God and Man, Christ Jesus, 1 Tim 2:5), The Perpetual "Priest forever according to the Order of Melchizedek," Ps 110:4, Heb 7:15. Again, may we freely receive mercy and find grace for help in time of need, Heb 4:16 (as a baby in the womb receives nutrients from its mother's umbilical cord freely without having done anything to deserve or earn the nutrition), Connection to Vine, John 15:1-2, (as the branches, and leaves receive the life-giving sap from the grape vine quite naturally and then produce luscious grapes quite effortlessly). We come before You, Heavenly Father, with hearts full of gratitude for the profound truths You have revealed in Your Word. Your request speaks deeply to the longing for connection, wisdom, and fruitfulness in Christ, truths that are foundational to our walk with You. We stand together in agreement, lifting these desires before Your throne of grace, where we are invited to "draw near with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need" (Hebrews 4:16 WEB).

Father, we thank You for the beautiful analogy of the Vine and the branches in John 15:1-8. You are the true Vine, and we are the branches. Without You, we can do nothing, but when we abide in You, we bear much fruit. Lord, we ask that You would prune us where needed, removing anything that hinders our growth, and strengthen our connection to You. May we remain in Your love, just as You have commanded, so that our joy may be full and our lives may glorify You (John 15:11). Let us not be like branches that wither but those that flourish, producing the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).

We also lift up the desire for wisdom and understanding, as mentioned in Colossians 1:9-11. Father, fill us with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that we may walk in a manner worthy of You, fully pleasing You, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God. Strengthen us with all power according to Your glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy. We ask that You would open our eyes to see the hope of Your calling, the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints, and the exceeding greatness of Your power toward us who believe (Ephesians 1:17-19).

Lord, we recognize that our priorities must align with Your Word, as Titus 3:14 reminds us: "Let our people also learn to maintain good works, to meet urgent needs, that they may not be unfruitful." We ask for Your wisdom to know how to devote ourselves to good works, to be ready for every good work, and to avoid foolish controversies, genealogies, strife, and disputes about the law, for they are unprofitable and vain (Titus 3:1, 8-9). Help us to be zealous for good works, not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving You (Romans 12:11).

Father, we also lift up the desire for teamwork and fellowship, as seen in 1 Corinthians 3:9: "For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s farming, God’s building." Lord, unite us with fellow believers in purpose and love, so that we may labor together for Your kingdom. May we encourage one another, build one another up, and spur one another on toward love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24). Let us not neglect meeting together, as some have the habit of doing, but let us exhort one another all the more as we see the Day approaching (Hebrews 10:25).

We rebuke any spirit of division, strife, or competition among Your people. Instead, let us be of one mind, united in love, intent on one purpose (Philippians 2:2). May we bear with one another in love, making every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace (Ephesians 4:2-3). Lord, we ask that You would raise up godly leaders and teams who will work together in harmony, each using their gifts to build up the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:4-7).

Father, we also lift up the desire for purity and simplicity in our devotion to Christ, as 2 Corinthians 11:3 warns us: "But I am afraid that somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve in his craftiness, so your minds might be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ." Lord, guard our hearts and minds from the distractions and deceptions of this world. Help us to fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). May our love for You be sincere, without hypocrisy, abhorring what is evil and clinging to what is good (Romans 12:9).

We also pray for angelic protection and ministry, as You have promised in Your Word. Thank You for the angels You have assigned to minister to us, to encamp around us, and to deliver us from harm (Psalm 91:10-11, Hebrews 1:14). Lord, we ask that You would send Your angels to guard us in all our ways, to lift us up in their hands so that we will not strike our foot against a stone (Psalm 91:12). May we be mindful of their presence and give thanks for Your provision.

Father, we lift up the proclamation of repentance and forgiveness, as Jesus commanded in Luke 24:47: "That repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name to all the nations, beginning at Jerusalem." Lord, we ask that You would give us boldness to proclaim the gospel, to call sinners to repentance, and to declare the forgiveness of sins through faith in Jesus Christ. May we be ambassadors of reconciliation, imploring others on Christ’s behalf to be reconciled to God (2 Corinthians 5:20). Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap if we do not faint (Galatians 6:9).

We also pray for the restoration of joy and the fresh experience of Your forgiveness. Lord, as David prayed in Psalm 51:12-13, "Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit. Then I will teach transgressors your ways, and sinners shall be converted to you." Father, we ask that You would revive our hearts, renew our spirits, and fill us with the joy of our salvation. May we experience the freedom and peace that come from walking in repentance and forgiveness, and may our lives be a testimony to others of Your transforming power.

Father, we ask that You would protect us from temptation and evil, as Jesus taught us to pray: "Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one" (Matthew 6:13). Lord, we know that the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). Therefore, we ask that You would strengthen us, equip us with the full armor of God, and enable us to stand firm against the schemes of the enemy (Ephesians 6:10-18). Guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, and let no stumbling block cause us or others to fall (Romans 14:13).

Finally, Father, we thank You for the privilege of coming before Your throne of grace through the name of Jesus Christ, our Great High Priest, who is able to sympathize with our weaknesses, having been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin (Hebrews 4:15). We thank You for Jesus, the one Mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5), who has made a way for us to approach You with confidence. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

We read your prayer and found ourselves quietly drawn into the same longing, to draw near the throne of grace not as a duty, but as freely as a baby receives nourishment, without having earned a thing. That picture has stayed with us. So often we can treat wisdom and fruitfulness as something to chase after, when in reality they grow almost effortlessly out of abiding in the Vine. What you’re really asking for, it seems, is not a new strategy but a deeper, simpler rest in Jesus’ mediation, trusting that His Spirit is already at work granting clarity and right priorities in His time.

We know that making plans and needing wisdom for pressing needs can feel urgent. Yet the very people God uses most are often those who learn to stop striving and let His guidance come as an inner peace, tested by Scripture and confirmed through the counsel of trusted, spiritually mature friends. So as you lean into the practical side of Tit 3:14, we’d gently encourage you to also carve out moments of stillness where you simply receive, without agenda. Even a few minutes of quiet before the day’s demands can help you recognize the voice of the Shepherd who knows you completely.

We’re grateful you asked for protection from stumbling blocks and deception too; that honest dependence pleases God. Let’s pray together now.

Father, thank You for the grace that flows to us so freely through Christ, our sympathetic High Priest. Quiet every striving heart and teach us to abide in the Vine, receiving mercy moment by moment. Grant clear, practical wisdom for the plans before us, and may our labor be marked by love, a clear conscience, and fruit that lasts. Guard us from evil and from anything that would pull us from simplicity of devotion to You. We ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

How often we stagger beneath the weight of our own emptiness, feeling that we have nothing to bring, yet the throne of grace remains, and it is grace that looks upon us when we cannot look upon it. You have drawn near with confidence, pleading the blood of the One Mediator, and that is well. The mercy is free, as freely as the babe receives nourishment in the womb, as naturally as the branch draws sap from the vine. Christ is the Alpha and Omega of our prayers, and the sovereignty of God toward His people is always exercised in pure grace. You have asked for help in time of need, and it shall be given; you have nothing to give in return, yet He shall deliver you.

You have asked for wisdom to know His will and to walk in a worthy manner. Remember that the will of man is not the hinge; salvation hangs upon the will of God, who is King in grace even as in creation. He does not ignore your will but works in you to will and to do of His good pleasure. When the Spirit has taken of the things of Christ and revealed them, the love of Christ constrains, and that love is the first fruit of the Spirit, the jewel that crowns all grace. From that love springs the power to love the brethren, to tend your own vineyard, to work with your teams as co-laborers with God. The love of Christ must first ravish your own heart, for how can you bless others if your own soul is not first saved?

As for protection from stumbling blocks and the evil one, know that the Lord who created you in the new birth will defend you. He who was declared the Son of God with power by the resurrection is your First Fruits, and because He lives, you shall live also. Grace enthroned shall deliver you from the snare, and where grace comes, it makes men blessed and a blessing. The very things that trouble you now shall appear different when grace has done its work.

Pray on, then, with simplicity of devotion, for the love of the Spirit is infinite, and He shall produce fruit in you to the praise of His grace. Let your worship be in the spirit of freedom, not of bondage, for He has called you by a name of love, and none shall separate you from it. Stir up the dew of love, and may the perfume of a renewed heart rise up, a grateful fruit from the vine that abides in Him.

You have set your heart on drawing near to the throne of grace with confidence, and that is a holy longing indeed. See how the Apostle teaches us to approach: not with boasting in our own wisdom or with a list of merits, but in the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ, relying wholly on the grace of God. For what have we that we did not receive? Even the very desire to pray ariseth from His mercy; and to draw near is to admit that we are gathered into the Vine as branches that bear fruit only by the sap that flows from Him. Let your confidence, therefore, rest not on the arrangement of your words, however full of Scripture they may be, but on the sympathetic High Priest who ever liveth to intercede. He bids you come freely, as freely as a babe draws nourishment, so that all self-trust may be put aside, and the grace of the Spirit may lead you in great perfection, carrying you to the very royal throne.

When you pray for wisdom to know God’s will and strength to walk in it, pray also for a conscience void of offence, lest hidden pride or any secret love of the world make your fruit sour. For the branch indeed receiveth life from the Vine without toil, yet if it be diseased, it beareth wild grapes. So too the grace of God, which bringeth salvation, teacheth us to renounce ungodliness and worldly lusts. Therefore, purify the heart, as you have begun to ask, that your faith may have no contradiction and your teaching may be without error, for the goal of our instruction is love out of a pure heart. And as you mention teams and fellowship, remember that the Church is not a name of separation but of unity, and we are laborers together with God. Let no stumbling block be placed by harsh judgment or by the vaunting of one’s own knowledge; rather, in lowliness of mind esteem others better than yourselves, so that the peace of Christ may rule in your midst.

You have rightly sought protection from the evil one and from impostors. This present age is indeed called evil because of the wicked choices of men, yet Christ gave Himself for our sins that He might deliver us from it. Hide therefore your life in Him, and fear not the deceits that wax worse, for greater is He that is in you. Only continue in true repentance, daily renewing the joy of your first forgiveness, that you may be ever freshly converted and become an instrument for the conversion of sinners. Walk in simplicity and godly sincerity, not in fleshly wisdom, but in the grace of God, so that your life may be a living epistle known and read of all. And as you ask blessings upon your chores and pressing needs, trust that He who cloths the grass of the field will order all things for your good, if you seek first His kingdom and righteousness.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, and study to handle aright the Scriptures; for the Spirit who inspired them will open your understanding, not that you may only collect verses like pearls, but that you may become a polished stone in the heavenly temple, reflecting the light of the Sun of Righteousness. And may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, abide with you always, even as you have prayed.
