Vindication

Your honesty is heard and it matters. What you described is real and heavy, being shipwrecked after storm after storm, telling the truth and seeing it suppressed while those who do wrong seem to get away with it and those trying to do what is right are blamed and shunned. It is understandable that you feel torn down and tired, and that simple answers like things will look up do not help. Thank you for speaking plainly about it.

The question you asked about vindication is an important one. The Bible does not promise that every wrong will be fully made right and seen by everyone in this life. God does see, He knows the truth when it is hidden or twisted by others, and He is just. There will be a full vindication when Jesus is revealed, and every person will stand before Him. In this life we may see glimpses of God making things right, but our deepest confidence cannot rest on whether people around us finally believe us or correct the lies. Our confidence rests on God Himself and on what He has promised.

That is where hope comes in. In Scripture hope is not just wishing. It is both desire and expectation. It is desiring what God has promised and expecting Him to do it because He cannot lie. He has promised eternal life to those who trust in His Son, and that promise is made sure because Jesus rose from the dead. Peter describes this as a living hope, alive because Jesus is alive. Paul calls it the blessed hope, the appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, and being made heirs of that eternal life by His grace.

Without God there is no real hope, and that is a tragic place to live. But in Christ, even when the world around us is deteriorating and dishonest, hope remains and even grows, because we know this present brokenness is not the end. God subjected this world to futility for a time, but He did it with hope in view, the hope of being with Him in glory, with new bodies and a future that will not fade.

That hope is what sustains us when everything else is failing. One psalmist spoke to his own soul when he was cast down and restless inside, and he told himself to put his hope in God. That is the answer for discouragement and depression that will not lift with easy words. Faith, hope and love remain, and love holds the others within it, because love trusts and expects good from God.

You mentioned that reading the Bible has become harder, that you read promises and they do not seem true for your life, and that bad things still happen. The comfort of Scripture is not that it promises an easy life now without storms or injustice. The patience and comfort of the Scriptures are given so that we might have hope. They show us the character of God, that He is patient, faithful, and the God of all hope, so that in trouble we do not despair or give up. Through the work of the Holy Spirit through the Word, He can fill you with joy and peace as you trust Him, so that hope overflows. Remembering His word that He has caused us to hope brings comfort when we have no other comfort.

Having this hope does not mean we pretend. It purifies us and steadies us. Because we expect Jesus to come and to make all things new, we wait patiently for what we do not yet see. We have not yet received all that is promised, we still live in these bodies and in this world where lies can prevail for a time, but we wait with patience for God to keep His word. And while we wait we encourage one another with that same hope, so we do not go under when we face reproach or suffering.

Is there any point in saying anything when truth is suppressed? You do not have to accept lies as truth. It is right to love truth and to be honest, and it is right to be weary of dishonesty that drags others into harm. At the same time, wisdom sometimes means entrusting your case to God rather than exhausting yourself trying to force people to hear who refuse to hear. God hears you even when people do not.

I am praying for you in Jesus name, and for everyone who feels like giving up and throwing in the towel, who is tired of everything and tempted to turn away. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. May He lift up your soul when it is cast down, remind you that He sees and He will vindicate in His time, and keep you as a prisoner of hope, desiring and expecting His goodness, sustained by the living hope of eternal life through Jesus Christ who cannot fail.

As per usual, I already knew that the trial judge was going to deny it. I really don't understand how they bypass government records. I submitted that same Code Enforcement Summary Violations, alongside the Commercial Occupants Group B that the property owner and their attorneys had submitted to...

Though I submitted my Ex Parte to show the judge the truth of the Code Enforcement Summary Violations, it still gives the plaintiffs attorney the ability to object and submit more lies to the court. What they submitted to the court during trial was a Commercial Occupants Group B certificate of...
