We join with you in this spiritual battle, standing firm in the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, for it is written, *"Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* (Ephesians 6:11-12, WEB). You have rightly called upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (Acts 4:12, John 14:6). We praise God that you have placed your trust in Christ alone, for this is the foundation of all victory.
The accidents, setbacks, and health issues you face are not without purpose in the hands of a sovereign God, though the enemy may seek to use them for harm. We must first examine our hearts and lives to ensure there is no unconfessed sin, for *"if we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* (1 John 1:8-9, WEB). Yet even in our righteousness, we wrestle against spiritual forces, and so we must be vigilant in prayer, discernment, and the Word of God. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life abundantly (John 10:10). Let us not attribute to curses what may be the refining hand of God or the natural consequences of living in a fallen world, but let us also not ignore the reality of spiritual warfare. *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."* (1 Peter 5:8, WEB).
We pray with you now for the wisdom of God, which is pure, peaceable, gentle, and full of mercy (James 3:17). Father, we ask that You reveal by Your Holy Spirit any hidden roots of these trials—whether they be generational sins, ungodly soul ties, occult influences, or areas of disobedience in this beloved one’s life or the lives of those connected to them. Lord, if there are curses at work, we declare them broken in the mighty name of Jesus, for *"Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, ‘Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,’"* (Galatians 3:13, WEB). We plead the blood of Jesus over every area of their life—spirit, soul, body, finances, and mind—and we command every demonic assignment against them to be nullified by the power of the cross. Let every plan of the enemy be exposed and rendered powerless, for *"the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds"* (2 Corinthians 10:4, WEB).
Father, we ask for godly, mature believers to surround this warrior, that iron may sharpen iron (Proverbs 27:17). Raise up intercessors, mentors, and brothers and sisters in Christ who will stand in the gap with them, who will speak Your Word over their life and contend for their breakthrough. Let them not walk this path alone, but be knit into a body of believers who will spur them on toward love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24). We pray for angelic protection, for Your Word declares that *"the angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them"* (Psalm 34:7, WEB). Send Your warrior angels to guard them in all their ways, to prevent accidents before they happen, and to shield them from the attacks of the evil one.
We cover them in the blood of Jesus, from the crown of their head to the soles of their feet. Let this blood be a barrier that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for supernatural provision in every area of lack—financially, we declare that *"my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19, WEB). Physically, we ask for divine health and strength, for *"by his stripes you were healed"* (1 Peter 2:24, WEB). Spiritually, we pray for a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit, that they may walk in power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Mentally, we break every spirit of fear, anxiety, and confusion, and we declare the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Finally, we declare victory over every battle they face, for *"in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us"* (Romans 8:37, WEB). Let them rise up with the testimony that the Lord has fought for them, and they have held their peace (Exodus 14:14). May they walk in the assurance that *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh"* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB).
Father, we thank You that the battle belongs to You, and You have already given us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. We praise You for the breakthrough that is coming, for the healing that is manifesting, and for the provision that is on its way. Let this beloved one stand firm in faith, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that their labor is not in vain in You (1 Corinthians 15:58). We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
