Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing your heart and inviting us to stand with you in prayer for this call. We join you in asking the Lord for His will to be done and for His glory to be seen in whatever outcome He brings.
Scripture reminds us that our deepest struggles are not against people or circumstances that we can see. We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers, against the rulers of darkness in this world, against spiritual forces of wickedness in high places. These are rankings of angelic beings, both faithful and fallen, and there is a real and constant conflict in the unseen realm. Often we feel the aftereffects of that conflict in our own hearts as unrest, heaviness, or irritation without understanding why.
The good news is that Jesus Christ is head over all principalities and powers. At the cross He spoiled those powers that were against us and triumphed over them, making an open display of His victory. Because of that finished work, we do not fight for victory but from victory. As it is written, thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ, and who always causes us to triumph in Christ. Nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ, neither principalities nor powers nor height nor depth.
That is why the key to standing firm is to rejoice in what the Lord has already won. When we rejoice in His victory, heaviness lifts and we begin to experience His strength in a practical way. The weapons God has given us for this warfare are not carnal or human methods, but they are mighty through God to pull down strongholds. Prayer in the Spirit is often the deciding factor in these battles, as we bring Christ's victory into specific situations and claim it until we see His purposes accomplished.
We also hear your desire for favor and for miracles. God is certainly able to do visible and unmistakable miracles, and His power and willingness have not diminished. At the same time, He does not work as a spectacle, and the absence of a dramatic sign is not a sign of His absence. He has shown us a more excellent way in love and true fellowship with Himself, and we can trust His wisdom to work in the way that most honors Him and most deeply blesses us. He does not need many or few to accomplish His purpose. He can bring a great victory through a single call as easily as through many efforts, when it aligns with His will.
So we pray with you now. Father, we come in the name of Jesus and claim the victory of the cross over every force of darkness that would oppose Your purposes in this call. We ask that You would guard hearts and minds, grant wisdom and clarity to all who speak and listen, and let Your favor rest where it serves Your good plan. We ask for Your blessing and for positive outcomes according to Your perfect will, and we trust You with the results. Fill this situation with Your presence, and let whatever happens bring glory to You and good to those who love You. We thank You that the battle belongs to You and that we can rest in Christ's triumph. In Jesus name, amen.
