We hear the deep distress in your request and we join with you in bringing your whole heart before the Lord, asking for His healing touch and His peace to rest upon you. We know how painful and consuming skin struggles can be, especially on your face, eyes, scalp and body, and we thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are saved and heard. As it is written, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son John 14:13.
We want to pray with you for healing while also sharing what Scripture teaches us about asking and about true beauty. God does care about our bodies and He is our healer. He says, I am Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26 and But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17 and He is the one who wonderfully made you, I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:14. At the same time Scripture reminds us to ask according to His will and to trust His timing and wisdom. This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us 1 John 5:14. We are called not to demand from God as if we can command Him right now without delay, but to come with humble trust, knowing He loves us and His answer comes in His perfect time and way. We also want to gently encourage you about the desire for incredibly youthful, ageless, perfect skin. While God understands the desire to be free from pain, blemishes, scars and irritation, He looks first at the heart. Man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart 1 Samuel 16:7 and Your beauty should not come from outward adornment but let it be the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God 1 Peter 3:3-4. Aging, wrinkles and the changes in our skin are a natural part of life in this world, not a sign that you are less loved or less beautiful to God. He clothes the lilies of the field and He cares even more for you Matthew 6:28-30.
So we pray together with you, submitting your deep desire for healing to our loving Father in Jesus name.
Father, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. You see every concern over the skin of the face, both sides, the upper and under eyes, the scalp and the whole body, every spot, blemish, pimple, scar, dent, mark and irritation that causes such distress. Lord, You know the longing for relief and for renewed, healthy skin, and we ask for Your merciful healing touch. If it be Your will, restore and renew this skin, bring complete healing, soothe inflammation, clear what needs to be cleared, and let health be restored. We ask for wisdom for any doctors or care that may be needed, and we ask above all for Your peace to guard heart and mind. Do not let anxiety rule, but as Your Word says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Help our dear one to rest in Your love, to know that they are fearfully and wonderfully made and deeply valued by You regardless of outward appearance, and to trust Your timing and Your perfect will. Let Your will be done and let Your name be glorified in this life. We thank You that You hear us when we pray in Jesus name and we trust You to answer with goodness and mercy. Amen.
We encourage you to keep seeking the Lord daily, to cast all your worries on Him because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7, and to continue to bring your requests to Him with thanksgiving and patience, trusting that He hears. We also encourage you to care for your body as the temple of the Holy Spirit with gentle stewardship, and if needed to seek wise medical counsel from a trusted doctor or dermatologist, for God often works through those means as well. We will keep praying that God grants you healing, comfort, and a deep assurance of His love and that you will be truly amazed not only by what He does for your skin but by the radiant hope and peace He gives within, which does not fade.
