We join you in bringing this very urgent burden before the Lord together in Jesus' name, and we hear the deep distress and longing in your heart for healing and restoration of your skin. We know that God sees every detail of what you are carrying and He cares about your pain, and we are honored to lift you up before Him.

We want to gently encourage you with what Scripture teaches about how God sees you and how He hears our prayers. You are fearfully and wonderfully made, and His works are wonderful Psalm 139:14. While we understand your desire for your face and skin to be made brand new and free from every mark, scar, hollow, line and blemish, God reminds us that He looks beyond the outward appearance. Man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart 1 Samuel 16:7, and He calls us to value the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God 1 Peter 3:3-4. This does not mean your request for healing does not matter to Him, it absolutely does, but it means your worth and beauty in His eyes is not defined by having perfect glass skin, but by being His beloved child created in His image.

We also believe that God is powerful to heal and to restore. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3, and He says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. By His wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5. We bring your request for miracles and healing before Him with confidence, because we come through Jesus Christ, and we thank you for calling on His name, for it is only through Him we have access to the Father.

We also want to lovingly encourage you to bring this request with trust and surrender to His perfect will and timing, rather than from a place of demanding that He must do it now in exactly the way we picture. God invites us In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. He hears every urgent prayer, but He answers according to His wisdom and love, which is always for our ultimate good Romans 8:28. Sometimes healing comes instantly by His miraculous power, sometimes through the wisdom He gives to physicians, and sometimes He sustains us with His grace and peace while we wait, teaching us to seek first His Kingdom Matthew 6:33.

So we pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, You know the anguish over every scar, dent, hollow, dark circle, vein and line, and the longing for skin to be made completely new and smooth. We ask for Your healing touch upon their whole face, under and around the eyes, and upon their body, according to Your will. Lord, if it is Your will, we ask You to restore health to the skin, to heal wounds and traces of surgery, and to make what is damaged whole again by Your power. We also ask above all that You would pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and free them from anxiety and distress. Help them to see themselves as You see them, fearfully and wonderfully made, precious and loved, and to find their confidence not in outward perfection but in Your unfailing love. Teach them to trust Your timing and Your goodness, and to seek You first each day. We ask that You would guide them to wise and godly counsel if medical help is needed, and that Your name would be glorified in their body and spirit. We pray all of this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Healer, amen.

We encourage you to keep bringing your heart honestly to the Lord every day with thanksgiving, to rest in His love for you, and to trust that He is working even when you cannot yet see the answer. We are continuing to pray with you for complete restoration and for deep peace as you wait on Him.

We hear how urgently you have been carrying this, and how much you long for relief when you look in the mirror. Wanting your face and skin to feel clear, smooth and at peace makes sense, and we understand why you are asking God so earnestly for healing and restoration.

Skin concerns can take up a lot of space in our thoughts and affect how we feel about ourselves day to day. Your worth before God is not measured by texture or appearance, and at the same time He does care about the distress this is causing you, body and heart together. He sees you as a whole person, not just the parts that feel flawed right now.

Alongside prayer, it can help to let someone care for you in person. If you have not already, we encourage you to talk with your primary care doctor or a dermatologist about what you are noticing, so you have trusted medical support while we continue to pray for healing, wisdom and peace.

Father, we lift our friend to You right now. You know the pain and longing behind this prayer and how much they want to feel whole and at ease in their skin. Please bring Your comfort, steady their heart with Your nearness, guide any doctors or helpers involved, and lead them in Your will for healing and care. Give them rest and hope in Your love today. Your very earnest and urgent prayer has been brought before us and we have heard the deep distress which moves you concerning your face and skin. We do not pass by such sorrow lightly, for man is a double being, composed of body and soul, and each portion may receive injury and hurt. The wounds of the body are painful and you have felt them keenly, and we very speedily care for bodily diseases when they urge us to seek the Physician.

We would point you to that great Physician, our Lord Jesus Christ, in whom there is an abundance of healing power. It is written that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but even His leaves, the little things about Him, are full of healing virtue. Calvary is the place for the healing balm. He convicts of sin not to leave us despairing, but to recover us by His power, and Jesus bears with Him power to heal. This is His honor and renown.

Yet we must tell you plainly what the Scripture teaches concerning healing and pardon. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. Pardon and healing were one. He knew what really ailed the man, that he was palsied in spirit as well as in body, and Christ removed the root of his disease by forgiving his sin. Oftentimes the cure of the body is much helped by repenting and forsaking sin, but the first and chief healing we need is the healing of the soul. Sin has defaced the image of God, but the grace of God will renew it through the blood and righteousness of Christ.

While we are here, the body is dead because of sin, though the spirit is life because of righteousness. The regeneration of the body takes place at the resurrection, when we shall rise again in the image of the Lord Jesus. It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power. Yonder in heaven those faces which look so bright and comely, fresher than newborn babes, owe their freshness to these healing leaves. Perfect restoration is promised to all who believe in Him, and God has made us to be holy in our desires and has renewed the image of His own perfect self within us.

Therefore we entreat you to tell your case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor. He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. Make a confidant of Jesus. Seek first His forgiveness and His reign in your heart, and then bring your body also to Him in humble submission to His wise and loving will. He is able to heal with a touch, and He is also wise to do what is best, whether that healing be granted now or reserved for that day when He shall make all things new.

We will pray for you, that the Lord would look upon you with pity, forgive your sins through the blood of Christ, heal your broken heart, give you peace concerning your body, and grant such healing to your skin as seems good in His sight, and if it please Him not to remove every mark at this present hour, that He would sustain you, keep you from despair, and fix your hope upon that perfect restoration which shall not wither.

O Lord, Sun of Righteousness, rise upon this suffering one with healing in Thy wings. Forgive sin, heal the soul, and in Thy mercy lay Thy hand upon the body according to Thy perfect will. Let this dear one know that Thou hearest the sad complaints and seest Thine image in weeping eyes, and cause faith to come by hearing Thy Word. Make the heart to rest in Christ alone for salvation, and to trust Thy goodness for all that concerns the body, until that day when Thou shalt present Thy people without spot or wrinkle. Amen.
