We hear the urgency and deep pain in your cry and we join with you before the Father in Jesus' name, asking for His healing and peace to rest upon you. We understand how much hurt and disappointment you have carried regarding photographs and videos of yourself, and how deeply you long to feel beautiful, confident, and free from sorrow. We bring that ache to the Lord together.

We want to lovingly and gently share some truth with you because we care for you and want God's best for you. While you have called upon the name of Jesus Christ, which we rejoice to see, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is by His name we are saved as Acts 4:12 and John 14:6 teach, we must also look at what we are asking for and whether it aligns with His will. You ask to permanently outshine absolutely every other girl and woman and to be the very best model and most photogenic person in the whole world. The Word tells us this desire to compare ourselves and to be exalted above others does not come from God. Philippians 2:3 says to do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility to count others better than ourselves, and James 4:3 warns that we ask and do not receive because we ask amiss, that we may spend it on our pleasures. God does not promise to make us superior to all others in outward appearance, but to transform us inwardly to reflect Christ.

The Lord is not unconcerned with your beauty, but He defines beauty very differently than the world does. 1 Samuel 16:7 says man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart. Proverbs 31:30 says charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised. And 1 Peter 3:3-4 says let your beauty be not just the outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing gold, or of putting on fine clothing, but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. The Shekinah glory you mention is the holy presence and radiance of God Himself, not a beauty treatment to be placed upon us for vanity, but His glory dwelling with His people to make us holy.

You also ask that you would never again experience any hurt, pain, sadness or disappointment of any kind. We deeply desire your relief, and God does promise comfort, yet His Word also teaches that in this life we will have trials and that He uses them to shape us and draw us closer to Him. What He does promise is His presence and peace through it all. Philippians 4:6-7 says in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And Psalm 139:14 reminds us that we are fearfully and wonderfully made, your works are wonderful and my soul knows it very well.

So we pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we lift up this precious one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You see her heart, You know every tear, every disappointment with images and every longing to be seen as beautiful and valued. We ask You to heal the deep hurt and sorrow she has carried and to set her free from the heavy burden of comparison, envy and the fear of man. Forgive us where we have sought our worth in outward appearance or in being above others, and cleanse us from pride and vanity. Lord, help her to see herself as You see her, fearfully and wonderfully made, loved and cherished not for photogenic perfection but because she is Your creation, redeemed by the blood of Jesus. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit and let Your true beauty be formed in her, the beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, of love, joy, peace and humility that reflects Christ. Give her contentment and joy that is not dependent on a photograph or video, but rooted in knowing she is Yours. Guard her heart and mind with Your surpassing peace and teach her to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness. Let her find that overwhelming joy not in outshining others, but in being conformed to the image of Your Son and in bringing glory to You. We ask this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

We encourage you to keep bringing your anxieties to God daily with thanksgiving, and to ask Him to renew your mind according to Romans 12:2, so that you may discern His good and perfect will. Spend time in His Word and let Him define your worth. When the temptation comes to compare or to delete and despair over an image, pause and thank Him that He looks at your heart and loves you with an everlasting love. Seek to cultivate inner beauty through prayer, kindness, and service to others, and you will find a lasting radiance that no camera can capture or diminish. We are praying that you will be truly blown away not by outward perfection, but by the incredible joy of knowing Christ and resting in His love.

We hear how painful this has been for you, especially the hurt and disappointment you feel when you see photographs and videos of yourself that you don't like. Wanting to feel at peace with how you look and to feel valued is deeply human, and we are praying for you with care today.

It makes sense you would want to delete images that bring sorrow. At the same time, constantly checking, comparing, and trying to become the most photogenic or to outshine everyone else can keep that pain going rather than heal it. Real confidence doesn't usually come from striving to rank above others, but from living faithfully as the person God made you to be and finding your worth settled in Him, not in a camera lens.

One gentle next step that may help is to give yourself some space from the cycle. If there are images you can delete, do that once and then step back from rewatching and rechecking them. Consider talking with a trusted mature Christian woman, pastor, or counselor who knows you personally and can walk with you in a steady way as you work through these feelings about appearance and comparison.

Father, we bring our sister to You in Jesus' name. Please quiet the hurt and sadness she has felt and guard her heart with Your peace. Help her to see herself with kindness and truth as one made and loved by You, and to find rest in Your care rather than in striving to be seen as the best. Give her wisdom, healing, and daily strength to walk in Your grace. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your earnest and urgent cry has been heard, and I have carried it before the Lord with much tenderness of heart. I perceive in your words a deep burden, a groaning under hurt and disappointment, and a longing for peace. We that are in this body do groan, being burdened, and it is right to bring every sorrow to our heavenly Father who searches the heart and tries the reins of the children of men.

Yet I must speak to you as a faithful friend would, for your request turns much upon the outward form, upon photographs and videos and the desire to outshine others in beauty and to be admired above all women. The Scripture teaches us that the life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment, but the soul is as much more to be accounted of than the body as the body is more important than the raiment. This outward man will perish, but the inward man, which is your true self, is to be renewed day by day. Your body will soon become as a worn out vesture, but your soul will outlast the stars. What shall it profit if the countenance be praised by all, and the soul be neglected and cast away.

Every Christian, in proportion as he lives near to God, will feel self abasement and lowliness of heart. There is a danger in seeking to exalt self, for every grain of self strength we gain is a grain of weakness, and every particle of self reliance is but poison to the soul. To desire to outshine all others is not the way of Christ, who humbled himself, and whose glory we are called to reflect, not our own. True beauty in the sight of God is not found in the outward adorning, but in the hidden man of the heart, in a meek and quiet spirit. We are taught to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, for that which concerns your highest part should come first.

I would therefore lead you to a better prayer, and to set apart a season for honest self examination, to ask whether things are right between God and your soul. Do not ask the Lord to make self to be admired, but ask Him to make Christ precious to you, and to make sin hateful, and to clothe you with humility. When a pardoned sinner rightly sees himself, there follows self distrust and self loathing, not that he should despise the body which God has made, but that he should no longer trust in himself nor seek his own glory, and he will never again desire to lift himself above his fellow creatures.

Let us pray together not for vanity to be increased, but for grace to be deepened.

O Lord, look upon this burdened heart which has known much hurt and sorrow. Grant peace where there has been pain, and quiet the anxious thoughts that rise concerning the outward appearance. Forgive all pride and self seeking, and teach this soul to seek first Thy Kingdom and Thy righteousness. Renew the inward man day by day, and adorn the heart with the beauty of holiness, with gentleness, purity and love for Christ. Deliver from the bondage of caring what the eye of man may see in a photograph, and fix the eye of faith upon Christ, who alone is altogether lovely. Make Jesus very precious, and let Thy glory, not our own, be our joy, now and forevermore. Amen.

We have heard the urgency and pain in your prayer, and we have brought it before the Lord with care for you. The distress you feel about photographs and videos, and the fear of hurt and disappointment connected to them, is a heavy burden, and God sees the anxiety that weighs on your heart.

We want to gently and lovingly help you see what God says about beauty and worth, because His word leads us away from what harms the soul and toward what truly heals. True beauty does not lie in the body itself, but in the soul that shines through it. When the soul is at peace, joyful, modest and kind, it sheds grace over the whole person. When the soul is troubled by envy, fear, or the desire to be seen by others, that trouble covers even a lovely face. Scripture teaches us to glorify God in both body and spirit, and that means receiving with thankfulness the workmanship God has given you, rather than believing you must add to it or remake yourself to be worthy of love. God made you as His own work, and His workmanship is sufficient. To compare yourself with others and to long to outshine every other woman is a path that brings no rest, for envy eats away at the soul like a hidden fever and destroys peace.

For this reason we cannot ask God to make you the most photogenic person in the world or to set His glory upon you so that you might outshine others, because that prayer asks God to feed envy and pride, which He calls us to lay down. Instead we pray for what He delights to give.

We pray that the Lord Jesus Christ, who alone is our salvation, would draw you close to Himself and give you rest where pain and sorrow and sighing flee away. We ask Him to quiet your heart, to heal the hurt and disappointment you have carried, and to free you from fear about images and the opinions of others. We ask Him to give you deep contentment in who you are in Him, to form in you the lasting beauty of a gentle and humble soul, of modesty, purity, and love, which God calls truly lovely and which does not fade. We ask Him to take away the desire to be above others and to give you instead a wholesome desire to love others and to rejoice in the good He gives to them, and to find your joy in being loved by Him.

The glory we most need is not a light upon our outward appearance for others to admire, but the inward work of Christ making us new. If you have not already, turn to Him with all your heart, trust in His mercy, and ask Him to be your peace. Fix your eyes not on mirrors or screens, but on the hope of heaven, where all is light and joy and where those who love Christ will behold His face with unmixed gladness. As you seek Him daily in prayer and in His word, He will teach you to see yourself as He sees you, to care for your body with sobriety and health rather than with anxious striving, and to rest in His love even when photographs or videos do not please you.

May the Lord grant you calm, steady hope, and a heart that is amazed not by your own image but by His grace, and may you grow each day in the beauty that comes from knowing Him.

Your heartfelt and urgent prayer has been heard, and the pain behind it is clear. The hurt, sadness and disappointment you feel when you see photographs and videos of yourself is real, and God cares about that sorrow. He also wants to lift your eyes to what is most true about you and what He most wants to do in you.

Scripture teaches that you are not your body. You are a spirit, made in the image of God, who lives in a body and possesses consciousness. The body is the instrument God has given you to express who you are and to know Him and have fellowship with Him. When your spirit one day moves out, this body will return to dust, for dust it is. That is spoken of the body, not of the spirit. The true you will continue, and God has a purpose for your existence that is deeper than appearance, which is to bring pleasure to Him and to be conformed to the image of His Son.

God created man in His own image, and that image is spiritual. One part of that image is self determination, the capacity to choose. He gave you a will and He respects the choices you make. He also calls you to choose what is best, which is to yield the members of your body as instruments for righteousness and to let His Spirit do His work within you. That work is to change you from glory to glory into the likeness of Jesus, removing the ugliness of the self life and forming the beauty of Christ in you. This is the radiance He most wants to be upon you, not an outward glow that fades, but the inward glory of Christ formed in your heart.

The Bible also describes all believers as one body in Christ, with many members. Just as your physical body has many parts and is still one body, so it is with Christ. Each part is needed and important, even the unseen parts, and no one is complete alone. If one member suffers, the whole body suffers with it. If one member is honored, the whole body can rejoice. If the ear should say because I am not the eye I do not belong, that does not make it any less a part of the body. If the whole body were an eye, it would be strange and could not function. God has placed each person in the body as He has seen fit, and each has a vital part to fill so that the body may be whole. When we live in comparison, wanting to outshine every other woman or girl in every way, we move against that design. Love builds up the body when every part does its work faithfully, not when one seeks to be exalted above all others.

God also speaks of the body we have now and the body that is to come. There is a natural body and there is a spiritual body. What we have now is sown as a natural, weak and corruptible body. It is subject to decay and cannot inherit the kingdom of God. What God will raise is a spiritual body, incorruptible and fashioned like the resurrected body of Jesus, which was not subject to the same limitations. As we have borne the image of what is earthly, so we shall bear the image of what is heavenly. Now we are children of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be, but when Christ appears we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. That is the certain hope for all who are in Christ.

For that reason, prayer for peace does not need to be a prayer to be made the most photogenic person in the world or to be admired above all others. God does not promise to grant a request to be exalted in appearance over everyone else, because His heart is to free you from living for yourself and for the gratification of the body, and to live instead for Christ who died for you. When the body rules, the mind becomes occupied with what to eat, what to drink, what to wear, and how we look to others. When the Spirit rules, the mind is set on what pleases God.

So I will pray for you in this way, that the Lord will heal the deep hurt you feel about images of yourself, and take away the constant sadness and disappointment that has weighed on you. I pray He will help you see yourself as He sees you, a person created to know Him, loved by Him, and placed with purpose in the body of Christ. I pray He will set you free from the burden of comparing yourself and needing to outshine others, and give you joy in the place He has given you and in the gifts He has given others. I pray He will conform you more and more to the image of Jesus by His Spirit, and that you will yield your body to Him to be used for what is eternal. And I pray you will rest in the hope of the new body He will give to those who belong to Jesus, a body that will never decay and will be fully pleasing to Him.

If you have not yet trusted Jesus Christ alone for salvation, that is the first and most important choice before you, for only through Him is there forgiveness and new life and the promise of that resurrection. Turn to Him, trust Him, and walk with Him day by day, and you will find the lasting joy and assurance that no photograph can give and no photograph can take away.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

We have been lifting up your very urgent request before the Lord and we continue to remember you in prayer. We prayed specifically for the deep hurt, pain, sadness and disappointment you have felt regarding photographs, selfies and videos, including Snapchat, WhatsApp and FaceTime, and for the distress over images you wish you could delete. We asked the Lord to bring a permanent end to that sorrow and to grant you lasting peace and joy right now and in the days to come. We also lifted up the longing in your heart to feel beautiful, photogenic and radiant inside and out, and the desire to be overwhelmed with incredible joy and to feel valued and confident when compared to others.

We pray that you will come to know more deeply how much you are loved and valued by God. We are reminded that you are fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:14 and that the Lord looks at the heart 1 Sam 16:7. We pray that the Lord will let His peace guard your heart and that you will see your true worth in Christ, and that His beauty and radiance would be reflected in you as you seek Him.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We continue to pray for you and ask for the Lord to comfort you, to lift this burden and to fill you with His joy and assurance. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray in Jesus name, amen.
