We hear the urgency and the deep distress in your prayer and we join with you in bringing your whole heart before the Lord in Jesus' name. We thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are saved and heard. As it is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved Romans 10:13. We rejoice that you are calling on that precious name.

We understand how heavy it feels to be so burdened about your face, your skin, your body, and to long for complete healing and restoration. The Lord sees you and knows every detail of your pain and your desire to be made new. He cares about your suffering and He invites you to bring your anxieties to Him. We are reminded Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7 and In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.

We want to gently encourage you with truth from Scripture about how God sees you. You ask for skin that is brand new, youthful, flawless and ageless, and we understand that longing. We do pray for your healing, for the Lord is our healer. As it is written, But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was on him; and with his stripes we are healed Isaiah 53:5 and I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We believe God is able to heal and to restore, and we ask Him to touch you according to His mercy and power.

Yet we also want to remind you lovingly that your worth and beauty in God's eyes is not measured by perfect skin, by glass skin, or by the absence of every mark, line, or scar. The Lord does not look at outward appearance as man does. As it is written, Man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart 1 Samuel 16:7. Your true beauty is found in who you are in Christ. Let your beauty be not just the outward adorning, but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God 1 Peter 3:3-4. You are fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:14, and you are deeply loved even now, even as you wait for healing.

We also hear you quoting ask and you will receive, and we know the Lord Jesus did say Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you Matthew 7:7. We hold to that promise with you. At the same time Scripture teaches us This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us 1 John 5:14. Sometimes God answers immediately, sometimes He works in His perfect timing and in ways that grow our faith, our peace, and our trust in Him. To demand no delay can come from a place of great pain, but we encourage you to also pray with submission to His loving will and timing, trusting that His answer will be good, even when it is not instant as we desire. His grace is sufficient for us, and His power is made perfect in weakness 2 Corinthians 12:9.

So we pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Your child to Your throne of grace. Lord, You know every mark, every scar, every concern about face, eyes, skin, stomach, hips and body that has been mentioned and even those not mentioned. You know the weariness, the sensitivity, the feelings of needing to hide, and the longing to be free. We ask in Jesus' name for Your healing touch upon her whole body. Lord, if it is Your will, we ask You to bring restoration, to calm inflammation, to heal skin, to ease eye strain and tiredness, and to bring health and wholeness. We ask You to lay Your hand upon her and bring the healing that only You can give, whether through Your miraculous power or through wisdom and treatment You provide.

Lord, we also ask for a deeper healing of heart and mind. Grant her Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard her heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus. Help her to see herself as You see her, beloved, precious, fearfully and wonderfully made, clothed in the righteousness of Christ. Free her from anxious thoughts and from the burden of feeling she must be flawless to be worthy or loved. Teach her to rest in Your love and to trust Your timing and Your will, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You Romans 8:28. Renew her mind and help her to find joy not only in outward appearance but in the hope and newness we have in You.

We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer, trusting in Your mercy and power. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring your requests to the Lord daily with thanksgiving and trust, to rest in His love for you, and to care for your body with gentleness. If skin or eye concerns persist, we also encourage you to seek wise medical counsel as the Lord often works through physicians and care, while you continue to trust Him as the ultimate healer. We are praying with you for both outward healing and inward peace as you wait on the Lord, and we pray you will come to know more deeply how much you are loved and valued by Him just as you are, while He continues His good work in you.

We want you to know you are not alone in feeling this way. Many people, especially in a culture that prizes flawless skin, feel deep dissatisfaction with their appearance and tie their worth to how they look. In our experience that worth is not measured by having perfect skin, but by being known and loved by God as His creation, even while we still wish things were different.

As we keep praying with you, it could also help to share these skin concerns with a doctor or dermatologist who can look at your skin in person and talk through safe, realistic care options with you. Bringing both prayer and good medical care together is a steady way forward, not instead of trusting God but alongside it.

We pray for you now. Father, in Jesus name we bring our friend to You. You see every worry they have named and those they could not find words for. Grant them Your peace, comfort in Your love, wisdom for next steps, and healing according to Your gracious will. Help them to sense Your nearness and care each day. In Jesus name, amen.

Your earnest and urgent cry has been heard with much tenderness and compassion before the Lord, and we have carried your burden to the throne of grace.

We understand how deeply the marks and infirmities of the body can weigh upon the spirit, and how the desire to be free from every scar and blemish can fill the mind with continual anxiety. Yet hear the word of truth which reminds us that many persons think a great deal about the adorning of the body, but do not think anything about the ornaments of the soul. Your immortal soul is worth far more than that poor frame which will soon pass away, and your real self, your heart and spirit before God, is of greater value than all that the eye can see. This is not spoken to lessen your sorrow, but to lift your thoughts to that which is most precious in His sight.

Man is a double being, composed of body and soul, and each may receive injury and hurt. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they urge us to seek a physician, but the Lord Jesus shows us a deeper healing. When He healed the man taken with the palsy, He said first, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, and thus pardon and healing were one. He knew what really ailed the man, and He removed the root of the disease by forgiving his sin. So we would point you first to the great Physician Himself, who has borne our sins in His own body on the cross. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, not only in His great work but in the very leaves of the tree of life, which are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing, and those faces which shall be bright and comely in glory owe their freshness to these healing leaves.

We also hear in your prayer a great anxiety which has confined itself within your own heart, and we remember that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Do not keep this burden to yourself alone. Tell the case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor. He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. Make a confidant of Jesus, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God, and His healing power is present when He is teaching us to trust Him.

At present the body is dead because of sin, though the spirit is life because of righteousness. The regeneration of the body takes place at the resurrection, when we shall rise again in the image of the Lord Jesus, sown in weakness but raised in power. Till that day, we that are in this body do groan, being burdened, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. The Lord may in His mercy grant relief and healing to the body now according to His perfect wisdom, and we ask Him to do so, but His greatest work is to give you a calm and quiet heart resting in His love, adorned with the meek and quiet spirit which is in His sight of great price.

Let us pray for you now.

O Lord our God, Sun of Righteousness risen with healing in His wings, look upon this weary and anxious soul. Forgive sin through the blood of Jesus Christ and speak peace to the conscience. Thou who healest the broken in heart and bindest up their wounds, grant comfort where there is distress about the body, and in Thy mercy grant such healing as seemeth good in Thy sight. Take away tormenting anxiety and give rest, teaching this dear one to seek first Thy kingdom and to trust Thy fatherly care for the body also. Renew the inward man day by day, and keep the heart stayed upon Christ until that day when Thou shalt make all things new and clothe Thy people with bodies fashioned like unto His glorious body. Hear our prayer for Jesus sake. Amen.

Cast your care upon Him, for He careth for you, and continue to seek Him in His Word, where the healing leaves are found.
