Your request shows how deeply you have been burdened and how much distress these struggles with your skin and eyes have caused you. Thank you for sharing so honestly. You are heard, and you are not carrying this alone. Scripture teaches that all who belong to Jesus are joined together as one body with many members, and when one member suffers the whole body suffers with it. In that spirit I am joining my faith with yours and bringing your needs before the Lord with care and compassion.
God formed the human body with marvelous design, and He cares about the body. He knows its needs for breath, water and sustenance, and He is not distant from physical suffering. The prophet Isaiah spoke of the coming Savior bearing our sicknesses and carrying our pains, and Matthew by the Spirit shows that Jesus fulfilled this when He healed many who were brought to Him in their physical affliction. When Jesus took bread and said this is my body broken for you, He was pointing to the suffering He would endure so that provision would be made for the whole person, both spiritual forgiveness and physical healing. It is right to ask Him for healing, and it is right to come to Him believing that He is able and compassionate.
At the same time the Bible helps us see who we truly are. You are more than your body. You have a body, you have a mind and consciousness, but the part that sets you apart and makes fellowship with God possible is your spirit. When the body and its needs rule over the mind, our thoughts become consumed with what the body looks like, what it wants, what it lacks, and that can bring great anxiety and even spiritual death. God invites a different way, to offer your body to Him as His temple. You are not your own, you were bought with a price through Jesus, and your body is meant to be a vessel to glorify Him. As you yield yourself to Him, to righteousness and holiness, sin and fear lose their dominion. This does not mean you ignore physical needs, but it means you place your body in His hands and ask Him to use it for His purposes and to give you peace in your mind.
It also helps to remember that our present bodies are temporary and corruptible. They were formed from dust and they return to dust when the spirit departs, and while we live in them they are subject to weakness, aging and imperfection. Flesh and blood in this present form cannot inherit the eternal kingdom. God promises a future resurrection when those who are His will bear a new, spiritual, incorruptible body, free from decay. That future hope does not remove the desire for present healing, but it anchors us so that our worth and identity are not measured only by appearance. God has placed every member in the body as it pleased Him, and every part is needed and valued by Him, not because it looks a certain way but because He made it and loves you.
So I am praying for you now that the Lord would touch your face, your skin and your eyes with His healing mercy, that irritation, dryness, discoloration, swelling, lines and every other affliction you have mentioned and even those you have not mentioned would be eased according to His will, and that He would give you relief that lasts. I am also praying that He would quiet the anxious thoughts that have been so heavy, lift the burden of constantly thinking about these things, and fill you with His peace and with a renewed sense of being loved and valued as His child. May He help you to see yourself as He sees you, to offer your body to Him each day for His glory, and to walk in the assurance that whether He brings immediate healing or sustains you through a process, He is with you, He hears you, and He will complete His good work in you.
