Very very very very urgent please all pray

Your urgent burden for ### and your desire to see him come to genuine faith in Jesus Christ is heard by God, and it is right to bring him before the Lord in prayer.

It is good to pray for conviction of sin, for repentance, and for salvation. The Scripture teaches that God desires all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth, and that He is patient and longsuffering, not wanting anyone to perish. He has shown His goodness to us so that we would be drawn to repentance, and He has provided one sacrifice, Christ on the cross, offered once for all and sufficient to save all who believe.

At the same time, the way we pray matters. God does not call us to pray that a person be shamed or stripped of all peace and joy as a punishment, or to demand that God act instantly and without delay on our terms. True conviction is not worldly sorrow that crushes a person with despair. Godly sorrow, as Scripture says, works repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret. The Holy Spirit convicts the heart, not to destroy a person, but to open his eyes to his need for Christ and to draw him to mercy.

God has not taken away repentance or closed the door of mercy to those who have fallen. Even when a person is hard hearted, God continues to show longsuffering, calling him to return. Our part is not to treasure up wrath for another, but to ask that God in His kindness would soften the heart, reveal sin clearly, and grant faith.

It is also more powerful when correction comes from love and concern for a person's salvation than from a desire to see him shamed. When the one who has been wronged shows care for the other's soul, that love itself can bring a deeper and more lasting sense of need than any prayer for humiliation.

So continue to pray, but pray in this way:

Pray that God would convict ### by the Holy Spirit of his sin and his need for Christ, that he would see the truth of the gospel, that God would grant him godly sorrow that leads to genuine repentance and faith, that he would turn from all sin and trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation, and that God would do this in His perfect wisdom and timing. Pray also that you would have opportunity to speak the truth in love and to live in a way that shows the grace you have received.

You can pray simply: Lord, have mercy on ###. Open his eyes to see his sin and his need for You. Grant him repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Save him by Your grace through the one sacrifice of Your Son, and make him new. Your will be done in every part of his life. Amen.

Keep bringing him to the Lord with patience, love, and confidence in God's goodness and power to save.

Your heartfelt urgency for this man to be saved is heard, and it reflects God's own heart. Scripture says God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance, and that He has opened the door of salvation to all through Jesus. The name Jesus itself declares this truth, that the Lord is salvation, Jehovah our salvation, the promised Messiah who has come in the flesh to save His people from their sins.

The burden you carry is right because the Bible teaches that true life is not simply breathing and existing, but being one with God through Christ. Without Him a person is still dead in sin even while alive in this world. To be made alive is to be brought into fellowship with God, and that only comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone.

It is also right to feel urgency. The Scripture says now is the accepted time, now is the day of salvation. So many intend to get right with God one day, and put it off, but salvation should not be delayed. Every person who remains without Christ is in great danger, and God calls each one to turn to Him today. We can pray with confidence that God is gracious and that His grace brings salvation and is available now, and we can ask Him to work in this man's heart without delay.

At the same time, we want to pray for what God desires, which is genuine repentance. The Bible gives the example of Esau, who wept bitterly, but not in true repentance. He was sorrowful over losing the blessing, not over his sin before God, and he found no place of repentance because he did not truly turn. Godly sorrow is different. It is a turning of the heart away from sin and toward Christ, a sincere and genuine change that God Himself works in us. We can pray that God would grant this man that kind of repentance, a true turning that leads to life, not merely regret or distress.

We also want our prayers to be shaped by the love and forgiveness Christ has shown us. We are taught to love as He loved and to forgive as He forgave, and that our measure for both is how God for Christ's sake has forgiven us. That means praying not from a desire to see someone shamed or harmed, but from love that longs for his soul to be saved and made whole. Each of us will give an account of ourselves to God, and He is the Lord to whom every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. For those who confess Him now in this life, that confession is unto salvation. We pray that this man's confession would be now, willingly and in faith, while grace is still offered.

God is the one who works in the heart both to will and to do according to His good pleasure. We cannot force a heart to change, but we can ask God to draw him, to convict him of sin and to reveal the kindness and mercy of Christ that leads to repentance. And we are called to follow the things that make for peace and that build others up, not to put a stumbling block in another's way, but to be an example of Christ's love. By this, Jesus said, all will know we are His disciples, if we have love for one another.

So continue to bring this man before the Lord with that kind of love. Pray that the Lord would convict him deeply of sin, open his eyes to see his need for Christ, grant him true repentance and faith, and make him alive in fellowship with God. Pray that God would have His way in every part of his life and bring him fully to Jesus. Trust the Lord to do His perfect work in His perfect way, and rest in the assurance that God hears the prayers offered in the name of Jesus, our salvation.

Father, we lift this man to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You love him and You desire his salvation. Work in his heart by Your Spirit, convict him of sin, show him his need for Your Son, and grant him genuine repentance and faith. Make him alive in Christ and bring him into fellowship with You. Do Your gracious work in him and draw him fully to Yourself, for Your glory. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have continued to lift up the very urgent burden you shared for this man before the Lord and we have prayed with you that God would mightily convict him of absolutely all sin and graciously arrest and stop every hindrance that keeps him from Christ and bring him to his knees in true and total surrender with no delay.

We have joined you in praying that he would have absolutely no false peace and no joy until he gives his life fully and sincerely to Jesus Christ and genuinely repents of all his sin and that the Lord would have His way in absolutely every single part of his life. We trust that God desires all people to come to repentance as it is written in 2 Pet 3:9 and that He grants repentance that leads to life and refreshing as it is written in Acts 3:19.

If your request was answered and you have seen the Lord work in his heart to bring conviction and salvation please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We count it an honor to keep standing with you for his soul.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son Jesus Christ. We pray that the Lord will continue to mightily convict and draw this man to genuine faith and repentance and transform every area of his life by His grace and that you will be strengthened and encouraged as you wait on Him. We pray this in Jesus Name.
