We hear your cry for justice and your deep pain over the harm done to you and others. Your heart is heavy, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting this situation before the throne of God, who is just, holy, and mighty to save. The Lord sees every injustice, and He will not let the wicked go unpunished. As it is written in Romans 12:19, "Dearly beloved, don’t seek revenge yourselves, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"

First, we must address the foundation of our prayers. You have rightly called upon the name of Jesus Christ, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). We pray that this truth would be firmly rooted in your heart and in the heart of the one who has caused you harm.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Savior and Redeemer. You are the Righteous Judge, and You see all things. We lift up this situation to You, Lord, and ask that You would move mightily in the life of this individual who has caused so much pain. We pray that You would arrest his heart right now, Lord, that he would be brought to his knees in sincere repentance before You. Break the hardness of his heart, shatter the pride and arrogance, and remove every trace of wickedness, anger, and perversion from his life. Let him see the gravity of his sins and the harm he has caused, not just to this precious child of Yours but to so many others as well.

Lord, we ask that You would save him. Do not let him perish in his sins, but give him a powerful, undeniable encounter with Jesus Christ. Let Your Holy Spirit convict him of his sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). Strip away every false god, every idol, every lie that has taken root in his heart. Destroy every bondage to Islam, to false teachings, to lust, pornography, anger, hardness of heart, and every form of wickedness. Let him see the emptiness of these things compared to the fullness of life in Christ. As it is written in Ezekiel 36:26, "I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh."

We rebuke every spirit of confusion, mental illness, addiction, and fear that may be at work in his life. We declare that Jesus Christ came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18), and we pray that he would be set free from every chain that binds him. Lord, let him experience Your love, Your mercy, and Your power in a way that leaves no doubt that You are the one true God. Let him turn from his sins and run to You, the only One who can save him.

We also pray for your healing, dear one. The pain and betrayal you have experienced are deep, and we ask that the Lord would bind up your wounds and restore your soul. You are not forgotten, and God sees every tear you have shed. Psalm 34:18 says, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Let the Lord draw near to you in this time. Allow Him to comfort you and remind you of His love and faithfulness. Do not let bitterness take root in your heart, for it will only harm you further. Instead, release this pain to the Lord and trust Him to bring justice in His perfect timing.

We also want to gently address the intensity of your prayer. While it is right to cry out for justice, we must also guard our hearts against harboring hatred or a desire for vengeance that goes beyond what is godly. Jesus calls us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). This does not mean we ignore or excuse sin, far from it. But it does mean we trust God to handle the situation in His way and His timing. Let us pray that this individual would be saved, not just punished, for God desires that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).

Father, we ask that You would also protect and guard the hearts of all those who have been harmed by this individual. Let them experience Your peace, Your healing, and Your justice. Surround them with Your love and remind them that You are their Defender. Let them see that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28), even in the midst of this pain.

We declare that no weapon formed against you will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The enemy may have intended this harm for evil, but God can turn it around for good. We pray that you would walk in the fullness of God’s purpose for your life, that you would be a light in the darkness, and that your testimony would bring glory to God.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would fill this situation with Your presence. Let Your glory be revealed, and let Your name be exalted. We trust You to handle this situation according to Your perfect will. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We hear how deeply you’ve been wounded, by this person, by the way he’s treated you and so many others. What you’re carrying is heavy, and the ache behind every word is real. Emotional abuse crushes the spirit in ways that leave bruises no one sees, and when someone in a position of trust betrays that trust, the pain cuts all the more sharply. It’s right to cry out to God about it, and we’re holding this with you right now.

We’re praying with you that God will indeed act, that He’ll bring conviction, stop the harm, and draw this man into a genuine encounter with Jesus. We don’t know how or when, but we know God sees everything done in the dark. In the meantime, please don’t carry this alone. If you’re still in a place where you feel unsafe or are witnessing ongoing mistreatment, reach out to someone you trust, a patient advocate, a supervisor, or a safe friend. Your own heart matters too, and it may be time to let another trusted person walk this path with you, not just in prayer but in concrete support.

As you pour out your righteous anger, remember that God is a just Judge who does not take abuse lightly. He can handle your rawest feelings, and He can also hold the offender accountable in His way and His timing. While we long to see full repentance, your own healing doesn’t have to wait on his change. Bitterness will only keep you bound; letting God carry the weight of vengeance frees you to breathe again. We’re not saying that’s easy or quick, just that the Lord walks with you through it.

Let’s pray:

Lord Jesus, You see every wound and every wrong. We lift up this hurting person and all who have suffered at this man’s hands. Stop the abuse, protect the vulnerable, and bring true justice. Have mercy and break through every darkness in this man’s heart, so that he might genuinely repent and come to know You. In the meantime, wrap our friend in Your comfort, restore dignity, and lead them toward safety and peace. Heal what has been crushed. In Your mighty name we ask, Amen.

Your cry comes to the throne of grace with a dreadful urgency, but I must bid you pause and examine the spirit in which you pray. You call for the arresting, punishing, and convicting of ###, yet in the same breath you plead for his salvation and full repentance. These two streams do not flow from the same fountain. The Lord will have justice and mercy embrace at the cross, but the heart that cries “Destroy absolutely all that is not You, Lord” while burning with indignation against a fellow sinner may itself be darkened by a root of bitterness. The true penitent hates sin as sin, his own first, and turns from it with purpose of heart. Beware of a superficial repentance in your own soul, a repentance that is only a mask for vengeful passion, for the Lord abhors it.

You speak of ###’s false gods and chains, but has not the Lord delivered you from the concealing power of darkness that you might show mercy? The Christian knows that sin spent itself upon Jesus upon that cross; shall you then demand a punishment that Christ has already borne for all who believe? If you are in Christ, your own great iniquities were laid on Him, yet you escaped the pit solely by a ransom found by God. Will you now, as the unmerciful servant, seize your fellow by the throat? God’s chastisements on the ungodly are His own work, and He may use sickness, pain, and sorrow to bring back a soul from the pit, but these are His cords of love, not our arms of vengeance. Our afflictions may come distinctly from man, yet they come with even greater certainty from the Lord and may be the necessary outcome of His special love to us. For this reason we may wisely moderate our anger against second causes.

Pray earnestly for ###’s awakening; pray that the Holy Spirit would bring him to a real and powerful encounter with the risen Christ. But leave the rod in God’s hand. No man may take up a confidence of his own making, salvation is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. Your prayer lists scores of evils to be destroyed, but the only sure deliverance from the power of sin comes through looking to Jesus, who bore sin itself in His body on the tree. Until you can pray with tears for his eternal good rather than your own vindication, your own heart lies open to a repulsive pride. Let no despairing thought come upon you as though this sin were unpardonable; the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses from all sin, both the patient’s and the offender’s. Look now to that blood for your own peace, and then, grasping the promise with living tendrils of faith, you will find yourself pleading “Father, forgive them” even as your Lord did. May God grant you such a repentance as stands at the cross and sees sin forgiven, then repents more deeply still, hating the evil because it is so contrary to the heart of Jesus.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You cry out with a loud voice, begging the Lord to arrest, punish, and convict this man for how he has treated you and others. I hear the anguish, the raw wound. Yet I must ask: is this the prayer of one who has tasted the mercy of God? The Lord Jesus did not come into the world to destroy men’s lives but to save them. He commands us to pray for those who wrong us, that we may be children of our Father in heaven. When you ask for punishment, do you not rather need to ask for tears, that you might weep over his soul with love, not fury?

The Apostle says, he does not take away repentance, nor the propitiation through repentance. There is no second sacrifice on a cross, no new washing, but the door of repentance stands wide open for every sinner while breath remains. Look at Manasses: he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood and abominations, yet by repentance and lamentation he washed every stain away. No wickedness is so great that it cannot be cleansed by true, heartfelt turning. But consider Esau: he sought the blessing carefully with tears, and found no place of repentance. Why? Because his grief was not the sorrow of a changed heart; the murder he plotted afterward proved it. Tears that flow only from pain, not from a broken will set on amendment, are useless. So do not merely beg God to break him with terror. Pray rather that the Lord would grant him the sorrow that leads to salvation, a sorrow not to be repented of.

That is the short word of faith: if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. This salvation is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. It is not won by force, but by a heart yielding to the kindness of God. The delay of judgment is comfort, but only if we use the delay to gather the fruit of amendment. So use this time not to call down ruin, but to entreat the Lord for this man’s genuine repentance. Pray that every idol, every passion, every dark chain would be destroyed, yes, but destroyed by the light and love of Christ capturing his soul, not by mere crushing from without. Ask for a powerful, true encounter with Jesus that brings him to his knees in godly sorrow.

And watch your own heart. While you plead for his punishment, do you yourself need repentance for anger, for hatred? Let us labor for grace with God, not only for others but first for ourselves. For if we will not forgive, we shall not find grace. If we desire the Lord to arrest him, let it be an arrest of mercy, a holy arrest that leads to life. I beseech you, then, change your cry. Ask the Lord to save him, to give him the gift of tears, to make him a vessel of mercy, that with you he may one day sing the praises of the God who raises the dead. Leave vengeance to the Lord, but pour out your soul in prayer for his conversion, for this alone is acceptable before our Saviour, who desired all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Your words carry the ache of deep hurt. That pain is real, and it is not wrong to bring it before the Lord. What I hear in your cry is not only a plea for justice but a profound desire for something far greater: for this man to be stopped in his tracks and utterly changed, not merely punished.

Yet there is a crucial distinction the Scripture makes clear, one we must hold onto carefully. There is a sorrow that leads to repentance, and there is a sorrow that is simply of the world, leading only to death. The question is not whether he will feel bad, but whether he will turn. True repentance is always a change. It is the fruit that John the Baptist demanded: a life bending in a new direction, proving that the axe laid to the root has done its work. Without that change, sorrow is only regret over getting caught or weeping over the inheritance lost, like Esau, never weeping for the sin itself. What we are truly asking for is that godly sorrow which will cause him, like Zacchaeus, to stand up and say, "I will restore what I have taken wrongfully."

It is right to pray for his complete and utter deliverance from the chains you listed, the hatred, the lust, the pride, the deception. But we must be careful not to slip into demanding God act according to a script of our own supernatural design. We often expect God to break in with an angelic announcement or some dramatic vision that leaves no doubt. But God’s supernatural work most often comes wrapped in the utterly natural. A quiet, persistent thought he cannot shake. A conviction that pierces his heart in a silent moment until he can no longer stomach the thing he used to devour. He might feel it like a man who becomes convicted about salt on his food, not because a pastor declared it a law, but because the Lord laid it on his own heart. That inner governor, where he feels, "This is not the way the Lord would have me live," is a true work of the Spirit.

So, pray for that encounter with Jesus Christ. Pray that the Lord will have His way in every part of the man’s mind, soul, spirit, and emotions. Pray that the supernatural light of Christ will shine into every dark corner and that the false beliefs, any lie about who God is, will be permanently destroyed. But let your prayer lean away from demanding the mechanics of how God must do it, and lean into asking for the undeniable fruit of it. Ask for the change.

And do not be afraid that praying for such a one will somehow defile you. When the religious leaders of Jesus’ day worried about being stained by sinners, they missed the entire point. Jesus touched lepers and they were cleansed. Holiness flowed out from Him; sickness did not flow in. As you intercede with a heart that longs for his salvation, you are not endorsing his sin. You are standing in the gap for a prisoner, asking that he might be brought out of his cell and into the fold with great rejoicing.

Pray for the Lord to send whatever natural circumstance or quiet sleepless night is necessary to bring him to his knees in a genuine, unmistakable turning. That is the fire Christ baptizes with: a refining that burns away the chaff. May the Spirit bring a conviction that is not merely a sorrow to be regretted, but a godly sorrow that works a repentance unto salvation, a complete change in this man that will leave you truly astonished. Trust the One who is mighty to save to do this work.
