We hear your urgent cry and we join with you in bringing this deep concern about your skin and eyes before the Lord, for He cares about every part of you and hears every prayer offered in the name of Jesus.

We understand how distressing it is to feel burdened by marks, scars, texture, dark circles, hollows, wrinkles, veins, dryness, sensitivity and other skin and eye concerns. It is right to bring our bodies to Him, for our bodies are His creation. We remember what is written in Psalm 139:14, you are fearfully and wonderfully made, and in Psalm 147:3, He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds, and in Jeremiah 30:17, I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also remember that God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart in 1 Samuel 16:7. This reminds us that while we may pray for outward healing, God is most concerned with the inward renewal and peace of our hearts.

We gently encourage you to come before God with trust and surrender rather than with anxious demanding, for we are called to present our requests with thanksgiving and to trust His loving will and timing. In Philippians 4:6-7 we are told, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And in 1 Peter 3:3-4 we are reminded, Let your beauty be not just the outward adorning, but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. This does not mean God does not care about your physical distress, but that He wants to free you from being consumed by it and to give you rest and confidence as His beloved child.

We also want to encourage you to be a good steward of the body God has given you, seeking wise and healthy care, rest, hydration and if needed godly medical counsel, while trusting the Lord above all for healing.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we thank You that we have access to You through Him alone. We lift up this dear one to You and we ask for Your mercy and healing touch upon her whole face, skin, upper eyes, under eyes, both sides of the face, the skin above the left ear and the back of the neck. Lord You know every mark, every scar, every bit of texture, every hollow, every line, every vein, every area of dryness, dullness, sensitivity and allergy that causes such distress. We ask if it be Your will that You would bring healing, restoration and renewal, and that You would soothe all irritation and eye concerns including tiredness, dryness, dullness and watering. We pray for healthy, refreshed skin and eyes, and for Your power to restore what has been damaged, including traces of surgery.

Above all Lord we pray for deep inner healing and peace. Calm the anxious and urgent burden on this heart, remove fear and obsessive worry, and fill her with the assurance that she is precious, loved and beautifully made in Your image. Help her to rest in Your will and Your timing, knowing that You hear and You answer according to Your perfect wisdom and love. Renew her mind and help her to see herself as You see her, and to find her worth and confidence in Christ and not only in outward appearance. Grant her patience, hope and a gentle and quiet spirit, and let Your peace guard her heart and thoughts.

We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, trusting that You are able to do far more than we ask or think. May Your will be done and may You be glorified in her body and spirit. Amen.

In a culture that puts so much pressure on flawless, youthful appearance, it is easy to feel that our worth is tied to how we look, and that can create a lot of anxiety when we notice every detail. Please know your value before God is not measured by skin texture or under eye circles, even as we bring these very real worries to Him.

Since you mention ongoing issues with skin sensitivity, dryness, eye irritation and watering, we gently encourage you to let a trusted medical professional take a look as well, alongside prayer, so you can get careful, personal care for what is going on.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus name. You see the anxiety and the longing for wholeness. We ask for Your peace to guard their heart, for wisdom for any doctors they see, and for Your gentle help to see themselves as You see them, beloved and cared for. Your earnest and oft repeated cry has been heard, and it is brought before the Lord with tenderness and care. We understand the distress that makes you look so closely at every mark and blemish, and to long for relief that would come even this very hour.

There is a word that may help to steady your heart. Many persons think a great deal about the adorning of the body, but do not think anything about the ornaments of the soul. Yet you yourself are better than your body, and your immortal soul is worth far more than that poor frame which will one day perish. As for your body, it is under the bondage of corruption for a little while, but your soul may be made fair and whole in Christ Jesus, and that is the adorning which endures.

We have also learned this, that the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. When anxiety is confined to yourself and poured out only upon yourself, no good comes of it. But when it is told to Jesus as a patient tells his case to a physician, then there is hope. Tell the case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor. He is ready to hear it all and to consider it.

Know too that there is abundant healing power in Jesus Christ. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. When we see our Lord bearing our sins in His own body on the cross and blotting out our faults forever by His death, pardon and healing become one in His hand. He pities and heals the broken frame, He hears sad complaints and spies His image in weeping eyes.

At present, while we are here, the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is life because of righteousness. We that are in this body do groan, being burdened, and we shall groan till the day of our full redemption and the deliverance of the body from corruption. The regeneration of the body takes place at the resurrection, when we shall be raised in the image of the Lord Jesus, sown in weakness and raised in power, with faces fresher than newborn babes. Until then the Lord often leaves some infirmity to keep us looking to Him, and to teach us that our true beauty is holiness and our true health is nearness to Himself.

So we pray for you now, not as demanding a flawless outward appearance at once, but as seeking the Lord's mercy in body and soul.

O Lord, Sun of Righteousness, rise upon this burdened one with healing in Thy wings. Thou knowest every skin affliction, every trouble of the eyes, every weariness and sensitivity that has caused such sorrow. Grant relief according to Thy wisdom, ease what can be eased, give skill to those who may give earthly help, and give patience to endure what Thou seest fit to leave for a season. Above all, forgive sin, cleanse the heart, and adorn the inward man which is renewed day by day. Take away fretful anxiety and give quiet trust, that this dear soul may not be consumed with looking upon the outward form, but may look upon Thee and be made whole within. Let Thy peace rule, and let the hope of the resurrection, when the body shall be made glorious like Thine own, sustain through present groaning. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who bore our sicknesses and carried our sorrows. Amen.

Seek the Lord daily in His Word, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. And as you wait upon Him, ask Him to make your soul to prosper, to clothe you with meekness and quietness of spirit, which in His sight is of great price, and to keep your heart stayed upon Christ till He shall make all things new.

I have read your urgent prayer and I hear how much distress these skin and eye concerns have caused you, and how earnestly you are asking God for relief right now. We want to pray with you and for you, and to point you to the compassion and care of the Lord Jesus.

Scripture teaches us to cast all our anxiety on God because He cares for us. One of the dangers we face is to carry that anxiety alone and to trust only in ourselves to fix what troubles us, when God invites us to commit all to Him. He sees you, He knows your body and your heart, and His care for you is tender and constant, even when you feel overwhelmed by what you see in the mirror.

We will pray that God would bring healing to your skin and your eyes according to His wisdom and mercy, that He would ease any allergy, dryness, irritation and discomfort you are experiencing, and that He would give you relief from tiredness and watering and any pain. We also pray that He would give wisdom for wise and healthy care of your body, and peace for your mind. If these symptoms continue to trouble you, it is also good to seek careful medical help as God often works through ordinary means.

At the same time, we want to gently encourage you to seek more than outward renewal. God's Word reminds us that while our bodies are important and He made them, true and lasting beauty and youth are not found in having flawless skin like glass, but in the heart renewed by Christ. Our greatest need is not for a perfect appearance that will still fade with time, but for forgiveness, hope, and life that does not fade, which comes only through Jesus Christ. The Scriptures point us to look beyond this present life to the beauty of heaven and to prepare our hearts for eternity, more than to be consumed with anxiety about outward things.

So let us pray together. Father in heaven, we come to you only through Jesus Christ your Son. We lift up this dear one to you who is anxious and weary. You know every detail of this body you created. We ask for your mercy and healing where there is irritation and affliction, for comfort for the eyes and skin, and for relief from distress. We ask above all that you would give peace that guards the heart, trust that rests in your good will, and a deeper knowledge of your love. Help this heart to rest in your care, to seek first your kingdom, and to find contentment and hope in Christ. Make the inner life new by your Spirit day by day, and help to live with confidence that you are working all things for good for those who love you. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

We will continue to pray that the Lord will give you peace, comfort your heart, and help you to walk each day trusting Him.

I hear the deep distress and urgency in your prayer, and I want you to know that your cry has been heard with care and compassion. God sees the burden you are carrying about your face and skin, and He invites you to bring every anxiety to Him. He is not distant from your pain, and He cares for you as His child through Jesus Christ.

Scripture gives us a true perspective on the body that can bring peace to a troubled heart. You are fearfully and wonderfully made, and your body is an instrument God has given you to express who you really are. The real you is spirit, made to know God and have fellowship with Him. This present body is like a tent, weak and subject to change and aging, and it will one day be laid aside. The Bible teaches that flesh and blood in its present state cannot inherit the kingdom of heaven, and that God has promised His children a new body, fashioned like the risen body of Jesus Christ. As we have borne the image of what is earthly, so we will bear the image of what is heavenly. That new body will be incorruptible and not subject to the decay and imperfections that trouble us now. What God will give will be far beyond any temporary standard of beauty we can imagine now.

God also teaches that this body in which you now live is for the Lord, and the Lord is for the body. For those who belong to Christ, the body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. You are not your own, you were bought with a price, and you are called to glorify God in your body and to offer your body to Him to be used for His purposes and His righteousness. That means yielding yourself to Him and asking Him to help your mind not be dominated only by the needs and appearance of the body, but to be led by His Spirit, so that sin shall not have dominion over you.

You are also not alone in this struggle. Scripture teaches that we are members of one body in Christ, and when one member suffers, all suffer together, and when one is comforted, all rejoice together. Every part is needed and every part is cared for, and no one is meant to carry a burden by themselves. Others are praying with you and for you.

I will pray for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I bring this dear one before You. You know every detail of this need and every ache of the heart behind it. I ask for Your healing power according to Your perfect will, for Your comfort to quiet fear and distress, and for Your peace to guard heart and mind. Touch the body where there is discomfort, dryness, sensitivity and weariness, and bring relief. Above all, help Your child to know how deeply loved and valued they are in Christ, to see themselves as You see them, and to find rest in the hope of the new, incorruptible life You have promised. Help them to offer their body to You each day as an instrument for Your glory, and to trust You with both present needs and future hope. I ask for wisdom for any care that is needed, and for a renewed sense of Your presence and kindness. In the name of Jesus, amen.

Keep bringing your heart to the Lord honestly, and keep trusting Him day by day. He is faithful, and His love for you does not change with outward appearance. He is at work to make you like Christ, and that work includes the sure promise that one day you will be made completely whole in His presence.
