We join you in bringing this very urgent and heavy burden before the throne of grace together in Jesus' name and we thank you for calling upon that name, for it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is by that name we are saved. As it is written, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved Romans 10:13. We are grateful you have invoked His name and we stand with you in that confidence.
We hear the depth of your distress, the exhaustion of chronic fatigue and tiredness, the pain of period pains and hormonal struggles, the breathlessness of asthma, the worry over high blood platelets, thinning hair, skin concerns, eye issues, bloating, and the weight of depression, anxiety, fear, sadness, sorrow, misery, loneliness and the longing for marriage. We also hear your anguish over bad dreams, feelings of being cursed, delayed, rejected, disappointed, and your distress about photographs and videos and how you appear. The Lord sees every detail and He cares for you wholly, body, soul and spirit.
We want to gently encourage you with truth from Scripture. In Christ, every curse has been broken, for Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us Galatians 3:13. When you are in Christ, no generational curse can cling to you, for you are a new creation and you are covered by His blood. We also want to remind you that our identity and worth are not found in a photograph, a selfie, or a video call, but in Christ who made you fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:14. Your value is not measured by skin without blemish or hair without gaps, but by being His beloved child. We understand the pain these things cause, yet we encourage you not to let anxiety over appearance consume your heart, for charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised Proverbs 31:30 and the hidden person of the heart is precious in God's sight 1 Peter 3:4.
We also hear your heart regarding singleness and lateness in marriage. We believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman ordained by God, and we pray with you not for just any relationship but for a godly marriage that honors Him. If the Lord wills marriage for you, we pray He will bring a believing spouse in His perfect timing, and that any courtship would be pursued with purity and with the goal of marriage to another Christian believer. For we know that Yahweh has good plans for you and His timing is never late, though it may feel delayed to us. We encourage you to seek first His Kingdom Matthew 6:33 and trust that He knows the desires of your heart.
We also want to lovingly correct the spirit of fear and perpetual dread that is weighing on you. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. Much of what you describe as curses, misfortune, criticism, obstacles and rejection can become a heavy yoke when we live in fear that they will never leave. We rebuke that fear together and we choose to cast all your worries on Him, because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. We also encourage you to continue to steward your body wisely, seeking appropriate medical care alongside prayer, for Yahweh often works through wisdom and healing, and we pray that He will guide the hands of those who care for you.
We pray together now for you.
Father in heaven, we come before You together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Your daughter to You. You know her by name, You see her fatigue, her exhaustion, her pain, her hormonal struggles, her asthma and every symptom, her eyes, her skin, her hair, her stomach and body, her platelets and every physical concern she has mentioned and those she has not mentioned. We ask for Your healing touch upon her, for You are Yahweh who heals us Psalm 103:3 and You have promised But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. By His wounds you were healed 1 Peter 2:24. We ask that You would bring restoration according to Your perfect will, that You would give wisdom to doctors, balance to her body, restful sleep without bad dreams, and strength for each day. We pray You would ease her period pains and bring her hormones and all her systems into healthy order, for Beloved, we pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers 3 John 1:2.
Lord, we also lift up her soul. You are near to those who have a broken heart, and you save those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18 and You heal the broken in heart, and bind up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We ask You to lift all depression, anxiety, fear, sadness, sorrow, misery and loneliness from her. Let Your perfect love cast out fear 1 John 4:18 and let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God Philippians 4:6. We pray You would surround her with Your presence, that she would know she is never alone, for You have said I will never leave you, nor forsake you Hebrews 13:5.
We rebuke every lie that she is cursed or forever delayed or rejected. We declare that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17 and that You cause all things to work together for good for those who love You Romans 8:28. Remove from her the spirit of disappointment and heaviness and clothe her with a garment of praise Isaiah 61:3. Where there have been delays and obstacles, we pray for Your open doors in Your timing, and for hope to rise again.
Father, regarding her deep longing for marriage, we ask that You would comfort her in this season of singleness and take away the sting of loneliness. If it is Your will, prepare for her a godly husband, a man who loves You and will love her as Christ loves the church Ephesians 5:25, and prepare her to be a godly wife. Help her to walk in purity and hope, trusting that Your timing is good and that You withhold no good thing from those who walk uprightly Psalm 84:11. Let her find her completeness first in You.
We also pray for her rest at night, that You would give her sweet sleep, for You give sleep to Your beloved Psalm 127:2 and that bad dreams would be far from her, that she may lie down in peace and sleep Psalm 4:8. Help her to see herself as You see her, beloved, chosen, and fearfully made, and to not be tormented by photographs or videos or the opinions of others.
We ask all of this not demanding our way but humbly submitting to Your sovereign and loving will, trusting that You hear us when we pray according to Your will 1 John 5:14. Grant her lasting healing, wholeness, joy and peace that remains, and let her testimony bring glory to You. We ask and believe together in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Healer, amen.
