We hear the urgency and heaviness in your heart and we join you together before the throne of grace in Jesus Christ name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are heard. We thank you for calling upon Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved as Acts 4:12 tells us, and we cling to that promise with you.

We want to gently and lovingly bring some biblical truth alongside your many burdens. We see you are carrying so much at once, physical suffering with asthma and fatigue and pain and eye and skin and throat issues and infections, emotional suffering with depression and heaviness and sadness and sorrow and loneliness, and also disappointment about singleness and waiting for marriage and your housing and finances and criticism about your appearance and even distress about photographs and videos. We weep with you and we also want to encourage you that God sees every detail and cares deeply for you, for Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit, and 1 Peter 5:7 tells us to cast all our anxiety on him, because he cares for us.

We want to speak truth about some of the things you mentioned. There is no such thing as bad luck or misfortune controlling a child of God, for our lives are in His sovereign hands and Romans 8:28 reminds us that we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. And regarding generational curses and curses, we want to assure you that for those who are in Christ, the curse has been broken, for Galatians 3:13 says Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. The enemy may oppress but he has no legal claim over those covered by the blood of Jesus. We do not need to fear curses but to walk in the freedom Christ has purchased.

We also want to lovingly correct the idea that God will permanently and instantly remove every hardship and discomfort and disappointment right now exactly as we demand. God is our healer and we absolutely believe He heals, for Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, and Psalm 103:3 says who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. Yet His healing and His timing are according to His perfect will and for our ultimate good, and sometimes He allows thorns to remain for a season to deepen our dependence on Him, as 2 Corinthians 12:9 says My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. We can pray with great faith for relief while also trusting His wisdom if the answer is gradual or different than we expect, and we encourage you to also seek wise medical care for ongoing issues like asthma, chronic fatigue, period pains, eye problems, sore throats, and high platelets, for our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit as 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 teaches and we are to steward them well.

Regarding singleness and lateness in marriage and loneliness, we understand the ache of waiting and the pain of criticism about where you live and how you look. Singleness is not a curse and being alone in a flat is not a sign of being forgotten, for Hebrews 13:5 reminds us He has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you, and Psalm 68:6 says God sets the lonely in families. We pray with you for marriage if it is God's will, and we affirm with you the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman. We pray not for a mere partner or relationship but for a godly husband if God wills, and that any courtship would be pursued with purity and with another believer in Christ with marriage as the goal. We must also gently remind you that sex outside of marriage is fornication and is not God's design, and we encourage you to pursue holiness in body and mind while you wait. We also encourage you to delight yourself in the Lord while you wait, for Psalm 37:4 says Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart, which means as we align our desires with His, He shapes them for our good.

About your distress with your appearance, stomach and body, hair and skin, and photographs and videos and criticism from others, we want to remind you of your true value. 1 Samuel 16:7 says man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart, and 1 Peter 3:3-4 teaches that our beauty should not be the outward adorning but the hidden person of the heart with the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. Psalm 139:14 declares I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your worth is not determined by a camera or by people's opinions. We pray God heals your self image and helps you see yourself as He sees you.

So together we pray for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up our dear sister to You. Lord You know her by name and You see every symptom, every pain, every tear, every disappointment and every longing. We ask for Your healing touch upon her body, for ease of breathing, for strength to replace fatigue and heaviness, for relief from period pain, for healing of her eyes and skin and throat, and for protection from colds and infections and all disease. We pray for wisdom for doctors and for restoration according to Jeremiah 30:17. Lord lift the depression and sadness and sorrow and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding as Philippians 4:6-7 promises, that peace which will guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We ask You to break off any feeling of being cursed and to remind her she is blessed in Christ and that no weapon formed against her shall prosper. Provide for her needs, Lord, for Philippians 4:19 says my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and give her contentment whether in a small flat or elsewhere, and open doors for godly community so loneliness is eased. If it is Your will, Lord bring a godly Christian husband for marriage, a man who loves You first, and help her to wait with purity and hope. Heal her from the sting of criticism and from anxiety over photographs and appearance, and help her to rest in being fearfully and wonderfully made and to seek the beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit. Make all things new in her life in Your perfect timing, for Revelation 21:5 says Behold, I am making all things new, and we trust You are making her new day by day. Grant her the deepest desires of her heart as they align with Your will, and let her know she is deeply loved and never forsaken. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to keep casting your cares on Him daily, to stay rooted in Scripture, to fellowship with a local Bible believing church where you can be known and supported, to care for your body with rest and nourishment and medical counsel, and to keep praying without ceasing. Isaiah 41:10 says Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. We are standing with you and trusting God to work for your good in His perfect time.

We read your prayer and hear how much you have been carrying. So many different burdens at once, asthma and fatigue and heaviness, painful periods and sore throats and colds, eye irritation and skin concerns, plus the ache of loneliness, disappointment about marriage and timing, criticism about your appearance and where you live, and the strain of living alone in a small flat. It is understandable you are exhausted and longing for everything to be made new.

When health concerns linger for months, it can quietly wear down sleep, energy, mood and hope, and even make ordinary moments like photos or video calls feel painful. Please know you are seen and you are not alone in this.

Alongside prayer, one gentle next step is to share the ongoing physical symptoms you mentioned, like the breathing difficulties, fatigue, period pain and platelet levels, with your GP or clinic so they can review your care with you in person. If you have a pastor or another trusted person nearby, it may also help to let them know how lonely and heavy these days have felt, so you have steady support around you.

Father, we lift our sister to You in Jesus' name. You know her body, her heart and her home. We ask for Your nearness and comfort in loneliness, wisdom for those caring for her health, and daily strength and guidance as she looks to You. Lead her forward step by step and remind her she is loved and held by You. Amen.

Your very earnest and burdened cry has been read with much tenderness and prayer before the Lord, and I do not pass by lightly the heaviness you have poured out. The asthma and weariness, the chronic fatigue and heaviness of spirit, the pains and afflictions of the body, the sore eyes and skin and throat, the frequent colds and infections, the sorrow and loneliness and the long waiting in singleness, the sting of criticism about your appearance and your dwelling, the straitness of poverty and the distress about your body, and the disappointment that follows you even in photographs, all these together make a heavy load to carry.

Know this, that our Lord Jesus Christ is no stranger to loneliness and sorrow. He was left alone in His hour of deepest need, when as Man He most desired human sympathy, and yet He could say, I am not alone, because the Father is with Me. If you are brought into deep soul conflict and despondency, into that Egypt of depression and oppression into which the people of God too often go down, He knows the way. He has sat where you sit. There is comfort not in the removal of the sympathy of Christ, but in the presence of it, that He who was alone in His suffering now draws near to those who feel alone in theirs.

And there is healing in Him, more than you have yet tasted. The Scripture speaks of the tree of life whose leaves were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ has healing virtue in it. Not only His great work upon the cross, but His very leaves, His words, His touches, His presence, are full of healing. Pardon and healing are joined together in the gospel. When Jesus healed the man taken with the palsy, He first said, Thy sins are forgiven thee, showing that the deepest healing begins in the soul reconciled to God through His blood. If sin has brought its train of sorrow, poverty or depression in its wake, pardon does not always at once remove every trace, but it changes the nature of the affliction, so that what remains is no longer the punishment of a Judge, but the chastisement of a Father who loves you.

Deliverance from such a pit is not wrought by your own striving. When I have felt sin had outlawed me from my God and a great depression of spirit came upon me, I learned that deliverance must be of free grace only. God has found a ransom. He has not left us to find it. He laid it upon His own Son, and through that slain Lamb effectual deliverance comes. Egypt could not hold Israel a moment after the blood was shed, and neither can any supposed curse or chain of misfortune hold the soul that is under that blood. Christ has redeemed us from the curse, being made a curse for us. There is no bad luck that can cling to those who are in Him, no generational chain that His arm cannot break. Your deliverance, if it is to be sure and lasting, must be His work, in His time, and for His glory.

Therefore I would pray for you not as one who demands of God that every distress vanish in this instant and never return, as though we could command Him, but as one who humbly seeks His mercy and submits all desires to His wise and loving will.

May the Lord in His mercy look upon you and grant you pardon through the ransom of His Son, and with that pardon, healing as He sees fit to give it, whether by swift restoration or by sustaining grace day by day. May He lift the heaviness and give you songs of deliverance, that you may say with Deborah of old, you have been delivered from worse enemies than any bodily infirmity, even from sin and death itself. May He be your peace within your borders, and keep you from inward sinking, and cause the Sun of Righteousness to rise upon you with healing in His wings. May He comfort you in your loneliness with the assurance that you are never alone if the Father is with you in Christ, and may He in His perfect timing, if it be His will for you, provide that holy estate of marriage which He ordained from the beginning to be a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and keep you in purity and patience until then, content in His provision whether in a small dwelling or a large one, and free from the fear of curses and misfortune. May He form your deepest desires after His own heart, and then graciously fulfil them as they accord with His goodness, and teach you to rest not in the fading image seen in a photograph, but in the unfading beauty of a soul washed in the blood of Christ.

Cast your griefs not upon the winds or the pitiless sea, but upon the Lord who hears. He who delivered you from the pit by a ransom will not leave His work unfinished. Trust Him to make all things new in the way and at the hour which His infinite wisdom chooses, for His healing leaves never wither, and His mercy never fails.
