We hear the deep pain and righteous anger in your cry for justice, and we stand with you before the throne of God, lifting this matter with urgency. The Scripture declares, "The LORD works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed" (Psalm 103:6). We take hold of that promise now, believing that God sees every injustice and will act on behalf of those who have been wronged.

First, we must address the spirit of vengeance in your words. While your pain is understandable, the Bible warns us, "Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, 'Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord'" (Romans 12:19). We do not pray for harm to come to this doctor, but we do pray for God’s perfect justice to prevail. We ask the Lord to intervene in this situation with His mighty hand, to expose any wrongdoing, and to bring about repentance, restitution, and restoration where it is needed.

We pray now with authority in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to the Father (John 14:6). Without the name of Jesus, our prayers cannot reach the throne of grace, for "there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for He alone can heal your wounds and bring true justice.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to You. We ask that You would move mightily in the life of this doctor. Lord, we pray that You would arrest his heart, convict him of any wrongdoing, expose any hidden sin, and bring him to a place of genuine repentance. If he has caused harm, whether intentionally or through negligence, we ask that You would strip away any ability to continue in that harm. Remove his license if it is Your will, Lord, not as an act of vengeance, but as an act of Your justice and protection for the vulnerable.

Father, we ask that You would bring this man to his knees in humility before You. Shame him not for our sake, but for Yours, that he may see the error of his ways and turn from them. We pray that You would surround him with godly counsel, that he may be led to repentance and restoration. If he is unrepentant, we ask that You would remove him from positions of authority where he can cause further harm.

For those who have been hurt by him, including the one who has cried out to You today, we pray for healing. Lord, bind up their wounds, restore their trust, and replace their pain with Your peace. We declare that You are the God who heals (Exodus 15:26), and we ask that You would pour out Your healing balm on every heart that has been broken by this situation.

We also pray for the broader community affected by this doctor’s actions. If there are others who have been harmed, we ask that You would reveal the truth, bring justice, and provide healing for them as well. Lord, we trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You are a God of justice and mercy.

Finally, we ask that You would guard our own hearts as we pray. Keep us from bitterness, Lord, and fill us with Your love and grace. Help us to forgive as You have forgiven us, even as we seek justice. We trust in You, Father, and we declare that Your will be done in this situation.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We read your urgent request and we hear how much pain you have been carrying, and how strongly you want the harm you experienced and that you have seen in others to be stopped and fully acknowledged.

When we have been deeply hurt, especially by someone we trusted to care for us, it is understandable to feel a wide gap between what should have happened and what did happen. That gap can stay heavy and make us long for justice to be done quickly and completely. Carrying that alone is exhausting.

We are praying for you, for healing from what you have suffered, and for wisdom for everyone involved. If you are still dealing with health effects from this, we encourage you to reach out soon to another trusted medical professional for care, alongside prayer. It can also help to have one steady person walk with you, a pastor, counselor, or trusted advocate, and if you believe there has been serious misconduct, to write down clearly what happened and seek guidance about the proper patient advocacy or licensing channels where concerns can be reviewed fairly.

Father, we bring this hurt to You and ask for Your healing and peace in this life that has felt so wounded. We ask for comfort, for clear next steps, and for justice to be handled in Your way and timing. Guard this heart from bitterness and lead toward wholeness and rest. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your cry has been heard, and the pain and sense of wrong that lie behind it are not hidden from the Lord who sees all that is done and who knows the suffering of His creatures.

It is right to bring your hurt before God, for where else should the wounded heart go but to the Physician who alone can heal. Yet in bringing it, we must come as those who themselves need mercy, remembering what the Word declares, "There is forgiveness with Thee." That forgiveness is not a bare word, but a divine forgiveness, "I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions," surprising in its freeness, complete in its extent, and everlasting in its endurance. The Lord demands the penalty in justice, and He Himself supplies it in love through the blood of Jesus Christ, the Just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God.

You have asked that God would at once strike and shame and strip another. The Scriptures teach us that vengeance belongs unto the Lord, and He will repay. It is not for us to dictate to Him how and when He shall act, nor to ask Him to put a man to shame for our satisfaction, but to leave justice in His hands while we seek what is right and lawful. If wrong has been done by this physician to you and to many others, it is good and proper to pursue lawful and orderly means that truth may be brought to light, that those in authority who are ordained to protect the vulnerable may examine the matter, and that no further hurt may be done. Pray rather that God in His mighty power would uncover what is hidden, restrain what is evil, and bring conviction that leads not merely to shame but to repentance.

And hear this for your own soul's comfort. Before forgiveness we lie helpless, hoping and expecting mercy in the presence of Jesus. In forgiveness itself there is no condition added to the Gospel call to the repenting and believing sinner, the tally is destroyed, the record of debt is nailed to the Cross. After forgiveness we are absolutely, irreversibly, eternally forgiven, for the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. He never plays fast and loose with men. If you have come to Christ as a sinner, trusting Him alone as the sinner's Saviour, you have this forgiveness now, in a moment, through faith in His blood. Believe in the forgiveness of sins for yourself, as Luther did when he heard, "I believe in the forgiveness of sins."

So let us pray together not as you first wrote it, but as the Spirit teaches us to pray.

O Lord, Thou seest the hurt that has been endured and Thou knowest the truth concerning all that has been done. We ask Thee to bring healing to this wounded heart, to give peace that passes understanding, and to grant grace to forgive even as Thou for Christ's sake hast forgiven us. We ask Thee to let what is true be made known through rightful means, to restrain evil and protect others from harm, and to work in the heart of this physician godly sorrow unto repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, in whom alone is salvation. Let Thy justice be done according to Thy perfect will, and let Thy mercy triumph where it may. Keep this soul from despair by that blessed whisper, "There is forgiveness," and teach it to rest upon the finished work of Christ. Amen.

Seek the Lord daily for that continued forgiveness which He freely gives, and ask Him to make you gentle and forgiving toward others, as one who has received so much manifest forgiveness that to forgive becomes as natural as to open the hand.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have heard your urgent cry and the deep pain behind it, and we grieve with you over the suffering you have endured and the hurt you describe among other patients. When harm comes through one who was trusted to heal, the wound is especially heavy, and it is right to bring that sorrow honestly before the Lord who sees all and judges with perfect righteousness.

Scripture teaches us that vengeance belongs to the Lord, not to us. We are told not to keep anger against another or to treasure up wrath for ourselves, but to leave judgment in the hands of God, who is both long suffering and perfectly just. His patience delays judgment for a time so that there may be space for repentance and for sins to be washed away, and His final judgment will be revealed in righteousness when each person receives what is due. We ourselves stand in need of great forgiveness for our own trespasses, and we are taught to have a gentle and merciful heart, forgiving as we have been forgiven, so that bitterness does not take root in us. To remember injuries and to dwell in anger is to practice ourselves in evil, and it harms our own soul more than it brings healing.

For this reason we cannot pray as you worded it, asking God to shame or strike a person or to act out of our anger. Instead we will pray with you in a way that honors God and seeks what is good and right.

We pray that the Lord will bring you comfort and healing in body and soul, and give you peace that guards your heart in Christ. We ask Him to bring all truth into the light, and if wrong has been done, to guide those in rightful authority to investigate justly and to protect others from harm through lawful and orderly means. We pray that if this doctor has done wrong, God in His mercy would convict him unto true repentance and turning from sin, that he would acknowledge the harm done and be changed, for God desires repentance rather than destruction. And we pray that the Lord would free you from the burden of consuming anger, and teach you to entrust this matter to His righteous judgment, while you walk in forgiveness and gentleness as one who has received mercy.

If you have not already done so, we encourage you to seek wise counsel and to use proper channels for a medical grievance, such as speaking with patient advocacy, hospital leadership, or the appropriate licensing board, and to seek support for your own care and counseling as you heal.

We will continue to pray for your healing, for truth and justice to prevail according to God's righteous will, and for mercy to do its work in every heart involved.
