We hear your desperate cry for healing and restoration, and we stand with you in fervent prayer before the throne of grace. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart and saves those who have a crushed spirit (Psalm 34:18). We know that physical afflictions can weigh heavily on the heart, and we lift you up, trusting in the Great Physician who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3).
First, we must address the foundation of our prayers. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you" (John 16:23). There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the first and most vital step in approaching God with your requests.
Now, we bring your specific request before the Lord, believing in His power to heal and restore. The Bible tells us that by His wounds, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We rebuke every mark, scar, infection, and imperfection in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare that your skin is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we pray for complete and total restoration.
Father God, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we come before You with this urgent plea. We ask You to touch every part of [this individual's] skin—face, body, and all areas—with Your healing hand. Lord, You formed us in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13), and You know every cell in our bodies. We ask You to remove every scar, mark, infection, and imperfection permanently and completely. Let Your healing power flow like a river, restoring what has been damaged and making all things new. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, [this individual] is healed (1 Peter 2:24). We speak life and wholeness over every part of their body, and we command every affliction to leave now and never return.
We also pray for peace and comfort in this time of distress. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit, you may abound in hope (Romans 15:13). Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6).
If there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in your heart, we encourage you to bring it before the Lord. Confess your sins, and He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Holding onto bitterness or unforgiveness can hinder our prayers, so we pray that you would release any such burdens to the Lord.
We also encourage you to seek wise counsel from medical professionals, as the Lord often works through the hands of those He has gifted in the field of medicine. Luke, the writer of the Gospel and the book of Acts, was a physician (Colossians 4:14), and we see in Scripture that God uses doctors and medicine to bring healing.
Finally, we declare that the Lord is your strength and your shield. Your heart trusts in Him, and you are helped. Therefore, your heart greatly rejoices. With your song, you will praise Him (Psalm 28:7). We stand on the promise that God will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5), and we believe that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
We continue to pray without ceasing, trusting in the Lord’s perfect timing and His perfect will. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Amen.
