We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your urgent plea for your husband’s salvation and the restoration of your marriage. Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that You alone have the power to transform hearts, minds, and lives. We stand in agreement with this sister in Christ, declaring that no situation is too hard for You, and no soul is beyond Your reach. Lord, we ask that You move with mighty power in this husband’s life—let Your Holy Spirit convict him of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). Break every chain of resistance, every veil of darkness, and every stronghold that blinds him to Your truth. Father, we specifically ask that You reveal Yourself to him in dreams and visions, just as You did with Paul on the road to Damascus (Acts 9:3-6). Let him see You in undeniable, life-changing ways—so real that he cannot deny Your presence or Your call.
We rebuke every spirit of hardness, rebellion, and unbelief that may be operating in his life. In the name of Jesus, we command every lying spirit to flee, and we declare that the eyes of his understanding will be enlightened, that he may know the hope of Your calling (Ephesians 1:18). Lord, we pray that he would be filled with the Holy Spirit without measure, that he would walk in repentance and turn fully to You. Let him experience the depth of Your love, the power of Your forgiveness, and the joy of salvation (Psalm 51:12).
For this marriage, Father, we ask that You restore what has been broken and heal what has been wounded. We declare that what God has joined together, no man—or spirit—should separate (Matthew 19:6). Lord, knit their hearts together in unity, peace, and agreement, just as Your Word commands (Amos 3:3). Remove every root of bitterness, unforgiveness, or division, and replace it with Your supernatural love. Let their marriage reflect Christ’s love for the Church—a love that is sacrificial, pure, and unshakable (Ephesians 5:25). We pray for a deep, abiding closeness between them, where communication is restored, intimacy is renewed, and their bond flourishes in every way.
But we must also address a concern in this plea, dear sister. While your heart is clearly desperate for God’s intervention, we notice an excessive focus on the emotional and physical aspects of your marriage—closeness, attraction, desire—rather than the spiritual foundation that must come first. The Lord desires that our marriages be built on Him, not merely on feelings or earthly satisfaction. We encourage you to seek first His kingdom and righteousness (Matthew 6:33), trusting that He will add all these other things in His perfect timing and way. True unity in marriage comes from both spouses being submitted to Christ, walking in obedience to His Word, and prioritizing His will above all else.
We also want to gently remind you that salvation is a personal decision. While we can pray fervently for your husband’s soul, we cannot force his heart to change—only the Holy Spirit can do that. Continue to intercede for him, live out your faith before him, and trust God to work in ways you cannot see. Your role is to love him, pray for him, and let your life be a testimony of Christ’s transforming power (1 Peter 3:1-2).
Now, let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with boldness, knowing that You hear the cries of Your children. We lift up this sister’s husband to You, Lord, and ask that You would save him by Your mighty power. Let Your Spirit move in his life in ways that are undeniable—through dreams, through circumstances, through Your Word. Break every chain, shatter every lie, and draw him to Yourself with cords of love. Father, we also pray for this marriage. Restore what has been lost, heal what has been broken, and fill their home with Your peace. Let them walk in unity, in purpose, and in love, reflecting Your glory to the world around them.
Lord, we ask that You strengthen this sister as she waits on You. Give her patience, wisdom, and unwavering faith to trust in Your timing. Let her be a light in her home, a vessel of Your love, and a woman of prayer. May her husband see Christ in her and be drawn to the Savior she serves.
We declare that no weapon formed against this marriage shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that every plan of the enemy to destroy their union will be thwarted in Jesus’ name. We speak life, restoration, and revival over this family. May they be a testimony of Your grace, Your power, and Your faithfulness.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every other name, we pray. Amen.
