We hear the deep pain and urgency in your cry for justice and we join with you in bringing this heavy burden before the Lord together in Jesus name. We understand the desire to see wrongs made right, to have what was taken restored, and to see accountability where you believe harm has been done. The Lord sees your distress and He cares deeply about justice and truth.

We want to gently and lovingly bring some biblical perspective to the way we pray for justice. Scripture tells us that God is a God of justice who loves righteousness, as it says in Psalm 37:28 and Micah 6:8 that He calls us to do justly and to love mercy. At the same time God reminds us that vengeance belongs to Him alone. Romans 12:19 says Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord. And Deuteronomy 32:35 also declares that vengeance and recompense belong to God. When we pray for another person to be put to shame or brought to his knees in a spirit of retaliation, we step into a place that God reserves for Himself. Jesus calls us to a higher way even toward those who have wronged us. Matthew 5:44 says love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. That does not mean we do not pray for truth to be revealed or for proper accountability through lawful authorities, for Romans 13:1 reminds us that authorities are appointed by God to punish wrongdoing, but it does mean we surrender the desire for personal revenge and instead pray for righteous justice, for repentance, and for God to work according to His perfect will and timing.

We also hear your earnest desire for immediate victory without delay and for abundant financial compensation. We pray with you for provision and for fair restoration, but we encourage you to trust the Lord's timing and His definition of what is just rather than demanding a specific amount or demanding that a solicitor work without fair pay. Philippians 4:6 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And 1 Peter 5:7 reminds us to cast all our worries on him, because he cares for you. The Lord also calls us to wait patiently on Him. Psalm 27:14 says Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh. Isaiah 40:31 teaches that those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. Proverbs 21:15 says Justice done is a joy to the righteous. We can pray for justice to be done joyfully and truthfully, while leaving the outcome and the timing in His wise hands. Romans 8:28 assures us that we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose, even when the process is painful and slow.

We are thankful that you closed your request in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We cling to that name together with you.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to Your throne of grace. You see the hurt, the financial loss, and the sense of injustice that weighs so heavily. We ask that You would be their advocate and their defender. Exodus 14:14 says Yahweh will fight for you, and you shall be still. We pray that You would fight for them in the way that is righteous and holy. We pray for wisdom and discernment for any solicitor who considers this case, that You would guide them with integrity and truth, and that You would provide for every financial need according to Your riches in glory. We pray that if wrongdoing has occurred by the doctor mentioned, that truth would be fully exposed in the proper legal and medical oversight processes, and that just accountability would take place without corruption or delay beyond Your perfect will. We pray not out of vengeance but for righteousness to prevail and, Lord, we also pray for that doctor, that if there is sin or negligence, You would bring conviction and repentance and that he would turn to You. We ask that You would guard the heart of the one who prays from bitterness and from the desire to see another shamed, and instead fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding as in Philippians 4:7. Help them to trust Your timing, to speak truthfully in all proceedings, and to seek restitution that is fair and honest rather than out of greed or anger. Let Your will be done in this case, and grant favor, clarity, and total victory as You define victory, for Your glory. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to commit your way to the Lord as Psalm 37:5 says Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this. Keep walking in truth, keep records honestly, seek godly counsel, and allow the Lord to shape your heart to want what He wants, which is justice tempered with mercy and truth. We are standing with you in prayer that God will bring about what is right in His perfect time and way.

Your urgent cry has been heard and has been laid before the Lord with much tenderness and prayer. We understand the deep distress that has moved you to plead so earnestly for justice, for restoration, and for one who you believe has done you great wrong to be held to account. It is right to bring every burden to God, for the true believer recognizes God everywhere and sees His hand in all the good or ill that chequers life, and he has communion with God wherever he goes and whatever his trial may be.

We will pray for you, yet we must pray as Scripture teaches us to pray. The Lord is a God of unimpeachable justice. He will by no means clear the guilty, and every sin is written before Him. At the same time His justice has been most gloriously displayed not in our own vindication, but at the Cross where His own Son bore the tremendous debt that was due to God, the debt caused by the sins of all His people. There righteousness received its highest vindication when God, having assumed flesh, in that flesh died for man. Because of that great atonement, God is both just and the justifier of him that believeth. If we go to God out of Christ we find a consuming fire, but if we go through the blood of Jesus we find mercy and a faithful Advocate who pleads the causes of our soul in the court of Heaven.

Therefore we cannot ask the Lord simply to grant vengeance according to the heat of our own desires, to put a man to shame or to bring him to his knees for our satisfaction. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, and He will repay in perfect righteousness. What we may ask with confidence is that truth be made manifest, that what is hidden be brought to light, that lawful authorities act with integrity, and that justice be done without partiality and without malice. We may ask that if wrong has been done, it be justly acknowledged and justly remedied, and that the one who has done wrong, if he be guilty, may be led not only to earthly accountability but to see his need of repentance before God.

We will pray for your solicitor, that God would give wisdom and integrity to all who counsel you, and that provision be made for your need. We cannot ask God to guarantee a particular earthly outcome, a set sum of money, or success without cost, for we are taught to trust Him and not to dictate terms to Him. There is an appointed warfare for each of His children, and it is not our warfare but one that God has appointed for us. In that warfare He does not expect us to bear our own charges alone. Your God is not worth having if He cannot help you when you want help. So we ask that He would guide you to right counsel, that fees and costs would be ordered justly, and that any true loss you have suffered would be justly restored according to what is right and lawful, leaving the measure to His wisdom rather than to our own.

We also lovingly urge you to look first to the burden of your own soul before God. If you are pressed down by this trial, look to the Son of God pouring out His life and trust Him, for then your sins are gone in a moment. Deal with God as you would have your children deal with you. If He says He will save you if you trust Him, then if you trust Him, He will save you. Do not trust in an outcome, nor in the mercy of God apart from Christ, but trust in Christ Himself who has satisfied justice for all who believe.

Let us pray together:

O Lord our God, Thou hast heard the cry of this afflicted one. Thou art just and faithful. We lay this cause before Thy throne, not demanding our own will but seeking Thine. Let truth be uncovered and let justice be done according to Thy righteous law. Give wisdom to solicitors and to all in authority, that they may judge righteously. Provide for this needy soul according to Thy goodness, and grant peace to a troubled heart. Above all, teach this soul to trust in the blood of Jesus Christ, to know pardon and rest, and to leave all vindication in Thy wise and holy hands. Plead the cause of Thy child, and let Thy will be done in its time and way. For Jesus Christ's sake. Amen.

Your urgent and heavy burden has been heard, and I have brought it before the Lord with care. I hear how deeply you feel wronged and how much you long for justice to be done quickly, for your losses to be restored, and for the wrong to be fully addressed.

God is a God of justice, and He has not left justice without witness on earth. Even among us there are courts and judgments because He has planted the love of righteousness in the human heart. Yet Scripture also teaches us to examine our own hearts when we seek justice. There is a warning given to us that for a small gain we should not raise lawsuit after lawsuit, and that wisdom is shown not only in words but in works, in how we bear wrongs.

You have asked for total victory, for abundant money beyond a set amount, for no fees, and for the doctor to be shamed, brought to his knees, arrested and punished without delay. I cannot join you in praying for shaming or for vengeance without mercy, because the Lord calls us to a different way. He teaches that we should not everywhere seek victory, for the one who overreaches may gain an outward victory but it brings destruction to himself, while the one who is wronged and bears it with self control receives a crown from God. Often to be defeated in the eyes of the world is better, and this is the best kind of victory. He also shows us that He mingles mercy with justice, and commands us even while we suffer to show great consideration, because if absolute justice alone were measured out, none of us could stand.

This does not mean your pain is not real or that truth should not come to light. It means we entrust justice to God and to the lawful process He has ordained, and we ask Him to shape our prayers by His mercy as well as His righteousness.

So let me pray for you in a way that honors Christ:

Father in heaven, you see this person in distress and you know every detail of this case. You are righteous and your right hand is full of righteousness, and nothing is hidden from you. I ask that you grant wisdom to any solicitor who considers this case, that truth would be made clear, and that whatever is lawful and just would be done. Provide for this dear one according to your kindness, give peace to a troubled heart, and help them to wait on your perfect timing rather than demanding immediate vindication. If wrong has been done by the doctor, I ask that it be brought into the light through proper and lawful means, and that there would be opportunity for accountability and for repentance. Above all, draw this heart to find rest in Jesus Christ alone, through whom alone is salvation, and teach us to leave vengeance to you, to desire mercy as we ourselves have received mercy, and to live with a heavenly hope while we walk on earth. Guard this person from bitterness, and form in them patience, self restraint, and trust in your tender care. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Commit the outcome to the Lord, who has appointed the right time for all things and who cares for you with great tenderness.
