We have heard your very urgent cry and we join together with you before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking you for calling upon His name, for there is no other name by which we can be saved and have access to the Father. We hear the depth of your exhaustion, your many physical sufferings, the heaviness of spirit, the loneliness and the longing for marriage and for wholeness, and we bring every detail to the Lord who sees you and loves you.
We want to gently correct a few things you mentioned so that you can walk in greater freedom. Scripture does not teach that believers are under bad luck or that misfortune and poverty are random forces against us. Our lives are in the sovereign hands of God who works all things together for good for those who love Him. And concerning curses and generational curses, we rejoice that Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us, Galatians 3:13. For those who are in Christ, the curse is broken and we are blessed with every spiritual blessing. We do not need to fear luck or curses, but we can rest in His providence and protection. We also want to encourage you that God's timing is perfect even when it feels like delay, obstacles and slow progress. He makes all things beautiful in its time and He is making all things new, Revelation 21:5. Your deepest desires are known to Him, and we are told to delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart, Psalm 37:4, as those desires are shaped by His will and for your good.
You have carried much distress about your body, your hair, your skin, your eyes, your weight, and the pain of being photographed and seen. We want to remind you that God looks not as man looks, for man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart, 1 Samuel 16:7, and you are fearfully and wonderfully made, Psalm 139:14. Your worth is not measured by photographs, selfies or videos, and we pray that the hurt and embarrassment you feel when images are taken of you will be healed and replaced with peace in your identity in Christ. We also see your suffering with chronic exhaustion, fatigue, asthma, high platelets, dry and stinging eyes, itchy scalp and thinning hair, skin marks and dents, bloating and sagginess, and painful bumps on your fingers. We believe God is our healer who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, Psalm 103:2-3, and who says But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, Jeremiah 30:17. We pray for His healing touch upon every system in your body, and we also encourage you to continue to seek wise medical care as a good steward of the body He has given you, trusting that He can work through physicians as well as through His miraculous power.
Your loneliness, singleness and longing for marriage have weighed heavily on you, along with disappointment, rejection and criticism. We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, as God ordained from the beginning, and we pray that God will lead you to a godly spouse in His perfect time, for whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh, Proverbs 18:22. It is not good that the man should be alone, Genesis 2:18, and God knows your desire for companionship. We encourage you to pursue courtship rather than casual dating, with the clear goal of marriage to another Christian believer, and to keep yourself pure, for any sexual intimacy outside of marriage is fornication and does not honor God. While you wait, we pray God will fill your loneliness with His presence and with fellowship in the body of Christ, and that He will provide for your material needs, for we know My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19, even concerning your housing and finances. We also lift up your sleepless nights, insomnia, bad dreams, anxiety, depression, heaviness and fear. God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7, and perfect love casts out fear, 1 John 4:18. We are told in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit, Psalm 34:18, and we know He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds, Psalm 147:3. For those who are weary you invite Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest, Matthew 11:28, and He gives power to the weak, Isaiah 40:29.
So we pray together now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one who is crying out for mercy. Lord, You know every symptom by name, the exhaustion and fatigue, the asthma and breathing struggles, the high platelets, the dry, watering and stinging eyes, the skin issues and scars, the thin hair and itchy scalp, the bloating and sagginess, the pain in the fingers, and we ask for Your healing hand. Touch the lungs, the eyes, the skin, the scalp, the blood, the whole body, and restore health according to Your perfect will. We ask for deep, peaceful sleep without bad dreams, for renewed strength and energy, and for freedom from anxiety, depression, heaviness and fear. Replace fear with Your perfect love and peace. Lord, break any sense of curse or bad luck, for Christ has redeemed us, and let no weapon formed against this life prosper. We rebuke the lie that this life is marked by misfortune and we declare Your blessing, favor and provision. Provide for every financial need, lift the burden of poverty and loneliness in that flat, and surround this life with godly community. Father, for the longing for marriage, we ask that if it is Your will, You would bring a godly spouse, a man of faith who will love as Christ loves the church, and prepare both hearts for a marriage that honors You for a lifetime. Keep this waiting season pure and hopeful, guarding against fornication and discouragement. Release this heart from the pain tied to photographs and being seen, and let joy return in seeing Yourself as You see us, beloved and wonderfully made. Make all things new in this life, not by our demand for no delay, but in Your perfect timing, and align the deepest desires of this heart with Your good and perfect will. We cast all worries on You because You care for us, 1 Peter 5:7. We trust that You hear us when we ask in Jesus name and we thank You that You are already at work. In Jesus Christ name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to keep bringing these requests to God daily, to stay rooted in His Word, to remain in fellowship with other believers who can pray with you and support you, and to keep seeking appropriate medical help while trusting the Lord for healing. Do not be discouraged if healing and answers come progressively rather than instantly, for God often works through a process to deepen our trust. Keep delighting in Him, keep hoping in His mercy, and keep remembering that He who promised is faithful. We are continuing to pray with you for complete restoration, for a godly marriage, for provision, for restful nights and joyful days, and for the peace that guards your heart in Christ Jesus.
