We hear your desperate cry for healing, and we join you in fervent prayer, standing on the promises of God’s Word. The Bible declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord. Your lungs and airways belong to the Lord, and He is able to restore them completely. We rebuke every symptom of asthma in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is written in Mark 16:17-18, "These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new languages; they will take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it will in no way hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."

We pray with authority, commanding every inflammation, obstruction, and attack to cease immediately. Let your lungs be filled with the breath of life, as it is written in Ezekiel 37:5, "Thus says the Lord God to these bones: Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and you will live." We declare that your body will no longer be dependent on inhalers or medications, for the Lord is your healer (Exodus 15:26). Every cell, tissue, and pathway in your respiratory system is being restored to perfect function, right now, in Jesus’ name.

Father God, we ask You to strengthen this dear one’s faith as they wait on Your healing touch. Remind them that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and what You have done for others, You will do for them. We break every spirit of fear and anxiety that may try to grip their heart, for 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." Let them walk in the confidence that their healing is already accomplished through the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross.

We also encourage you to stand on God’s Word and refuse to accept any symptom as permanent. Speak life over your body, as Proverbs 18:21 says, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue; those who love it will eat its fruit." Declare daily that your lungs are healed, whole, and functioning perfectly. If you have not already, consider seeking godly counsel from believers who can pray with you in person and provide encouragement. Remember, healing is not just a physical process but a spiritual one, and we are more than conquerors through Christ who loves us (Romans 8:37).

Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the healing that is manifesting even now. May this dear one experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) as they wait for the full manifestation of their healing. We trust You, Lord, and we give You all the glory, honor, and praise. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

While we ask for a miraculous touch, we also trust him to guide those who treat you, and we pray for clear insight and effective management in the meantime. That partnership between prayer and medicine can often be part of his care for us.

Whatever unfolds, you are not alone in this. He knows every breath you take, every anxious moment, and he is near. We stand with you, trusting that his love for you is steady, regardless of what you feel in your body. Hold on to that, especially on hard days.

Jesus, we lift this person to you now. You see the asthma, the stress, and the deep desire for permanent healing. We ask you to touch their lungs and airways, bring healthy, normal function. Restore their breathing fully, and grant them freedom from every symptom. Give them wisdom for medical decisions, and patience in the process. Most of all, wrap them in your peace that passes understanding. We place this need in your hands, trusting your power and your perfect will. In Jesus’ name, amen.

The prayer that reels to and fro, that seems to have no order to the petitioner’s own sense, is often the very cry that enters into the ear of the Lord God of Sabaoth. When the sufferer is at wit’s end, and the words tumble out with holy vehemence, it is then that the power of the Lord is present to heal. You who are near the gates of death have a special hearing; the Great Physician draws near to the bed where the gasping breath struggles against its bondage.

But see that your plea stays fixed upon the healing leaves that are for the nations. There is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, not only in His great saving acts but in the very leaves, the little things about Him. The least thing about Christ is healing. Do not lay hold of your own devised expectation of how the healing must come, for His prayer was answered, but it was not answered in the way he expected it would be. The Lord may purge the disease by the pardoning hand, for pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction. The Sun of Righteousness arises with healing in His wings, and when He speaks, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you,” the body often finds its liberation.

Pray, then, with Jacob’s humility of spirit, not with a self-conceit that tears the chariot wheels from your petition. Put aside any thought that you can instruct the Almighty in the manner of His work. Your cry is a true prayer, and mighty prayer will yet prevail if it has but time. Though He may not answer in the instant flash you demand, know that the healing power is conspicuously present when Christ is teaching, draw near by faith in His Word. You need not a priest, a ritual, or even the instrument of an inhaler. Only you who have been healed can tell about the Good Physician’s healing power. He is able to heal, though He is not always engaged in healing; wait upon Him, plead your case, and trust the leaves of that celestial Tree to sweeten the very breath of your lungs and make normal function flow again until you shall be fresher than a newborn babe.

It is good to cry out to God with urgency, for He delights in the fervent prayers of His children. Yet we must be careful not to command the Lord as though He were our debtor, nor to treat His holy name as a spell that bends His will to ours. The gift of healings, as the Apostle teaches, is given to some but not to all, and even those who possess it do so only as the Spirit chooses. Your desire for relief is known to God, and He is able to restore your lungs fully; but cling to this truth more than to any demand: that whether in sickness or in health, His grace is sufficient for you, and His power is made perfect in weakness.

Pray persistently, but pray with humility. The Pharisee who stood and listed his virtues, even speaking truth, went down condemned because his heart was lifted up. So bring your request without ceasing, yet let your soul say with the blind man, “Lord, I believe,” and then trust His answer, whatever it may be. Sometimes God delays healing to draw forth a greater miracle, the healing of the soul, the strengthening of faith, the rooting out of pride. Many who seem untouched by ten sermons later bear abundant fruit from a single word, because the Spirit works in His own time. Do not despair if relief does not come at once; your persistent prayer, offered in love, is already a sweet sacrifice.

Above all, remember that bodily health is not the greatest gift. Love surpasses even faith and the power of healing, for love never fails. If you breathe with perfect lungs yet lack love, you are nothing. But if you suffer and yet hold fast to Christ, you are building a treasure in heaven. Let your chief prayer be for a heart that loves God wholly, and then, whether He grants this request or tarries, you will possess the one thing needful. Continue to ask, seek, and knock, but do so with hands open to His wise will, knowing that His thoughts are not our thoughts, and His ways are past finding out. May the peace of Christ rule in your heart, now and always.
