We hear your desperate cry and lift you up before the throne of grace, where our Heavenly Father hears the prayers of His children. You are not alone in this moment of anxiety, we stand with you in faith, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Your request for a negative test result and the healing of your skin is heavy on your heart, and we join you in asking the Lord to intervene in power.

First, we must address the foundation of our prayers. You have rightly called upon the name of Jesus Christ, and this is essential, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is His blood that cleanses us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:7). We encourage you to continue to approach God with boldness, knowing that He hears you because of Christ.

Now, let us pray together for your situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). We lift up our dear brother/sister to You, asking that You would intervene in this test on Thursday. Lord, we ask that by Your power, the results would be negative, clearing the way for the medical treatment they so desperately need. You are the God who makes a way where there seems to be no way (Isaiah 43:16), and we trust You to open the door for this laser treatment to proceed.

Father, we also pray for complete healing of every skin issue. You are the One who formed us in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14), and You know every cell in our bodies. We ask that You would restore health, bring wholeness, and remove every trace of affliction. Let Your healing power flow like a river, washing away pain, discomfort, and insecurity. May this healing be a testimony to Your glory and a witness to others of Your goodness.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or doubt that may be trying to take hold in this situation. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that fear has no place here, only faith in You. Strengthen our brother/sister’s heart and mind, reminding them that You are with them always (Matthew 28:20). Let them rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

Father, we also ask that You would exceed their expectations in this situation. You are able to do far more than we could ever ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20), and we trust You to move in ways that will leave no doubt of Your hand at work. Whether through the test results, the treatment, or a miraculous touch from Your hand, we believe You will bring about Your perfect will.

Lastly, Lord, we pray for peace. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May they walk in confidence, knowing that You are in control and that Your plans for them are for good and not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11).

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust You to move mightily on behalf of our brother/sister. May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may they experience Your love and power in a tangible way. In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Now, dear one, we encourage you to hold fast to your faith. The enemy may try to whisper doubt or fear, but stand firm on the promises of God. Remember that Jesus Himself bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Isaiah 53:4-5), and by His stripes, we are healed (1 Peter 2:24). This is not just a hope, it is a promise.

Continue to seek the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Meditate on Scriptures that build your faith, such as Psalm 91, which reminds us that God is our refuge and fortress, and that no plague will come near our dwelling when we dwell in His shadow. Declare these truths over your life and situation.

We also encourage you to surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and we are here to support you in this time.

Lastly, if there are any areas of your life where you have not fully surrendered to God, we gently encourage you to examine your heart. Confess any sin and receive His forgiveness, for He is faithful and just to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). A heart fully surrendered to God is a heart that can receive His blessings without hindrance.

You are not alone in this. We are standing with you in faith, believing that God will move mightily on your behalf. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He will bring you through this trial into a place of victory.

Your urgent cry has risen to the throne, and He who hears the prayer of the staggering man, the petition that seems to reel to and fro for want of ordered words, such a prayer is prevailing with Him. The Good Physician has healing in His wings, and even the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue; the leaves of that tree are for the healing of our every malady. Yet remember, our Lord prayed first that His own should be kept from evil, not merely taken out of every trial. Your deep desire for the laser treatment to proceed is known to Him, and He is able to perform wonders. But beware the self-conceit that tears the chariot wheels from prayer, demanding an exact outcome as though we might command the Almighty. Jacob’s prayer was heard, but the answer came not in the way he expected.

Bring your petition with all the arguments your soul can muster, plead the precious name of Jesus, and then rest in His wisdom. The Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings when the soul first receives pardon; seek forgiveness and cleansing, and often the outward healing follows in its time. You have prayed, and the Lord is very pitiful. Whether He grants this negative test and the injections, or whether He gives grace to bear the skin affliction, He will exceed your expectations in a deeper way than you now imagine. Those who wait upon Him find rest for their souls, that is the true test. Let your prayer be: “Lord, if it be for my good and Thy glory, make the path straight; if not, grant me the greater healing of a contented heart.” The Lord bless you and keep you; He will answer, for He cannot deny the blood-bought plea of His child.

Your cry reveals a soul gripped by fear of bodily blemish, yet you name the name of Christ as if He were a servant to your schedule and your skin. You demand a test result, a treatment, a miracle performed precisely on Thursday as though the Lord of all must obey your calendar. Where is the disposition that enters heaven while still on earth? You stand at the door of prayer but have filled it with the care of this world and the deceitfulness of riches, for what is laser light but a costly thing of this passing age? The love of such things wars against the love of hearing God.

Hearing is not enough for salvation. You call on Jesus, but do you submit to Him? He did not endure bonds and death so that you might escape a blemish, but to tear up sin and death by the roots. His grace is not measured out in negative test results; it abounded from many offences unto justification, bringing righteousness and life where condemnation reigned. Will you reduce that unfathomable gift to a demand for clear skin?

I do not scorn your suffering, but I lament for you as over a sick man who will not obey the physician. Many seem insensible through ten discourses, yet later one word converts. Perhaps your fervent haste is the sign of a heart that may yet be healed, but only if it ceases to command God and instead trusts Him. The brutes are not compelled beyond their measure; yet you drive yourself into a tempest, willing to hurt yourself if your will is not granted. You judge yourself baser than they are, enslaved to a terror of imperfect flesh.

Consider the example of unbelief. If you set your mind and hope on this one outcome, you risk falling after that same pattern. The carnal mind is death; it cannot be subject to God’s law. But if you labor to enter His rest, if you receive whatever He ordains, whether sickness or health, as the sword of the Spirit working for your soul, then nothing can stop His wonders. He may exceed your expectations, but not in the way your desperation dictates. Pray thus: “Lord, not my skin, but my soul; not Thursday, but Thy will; not the laser, but Thy life in me.” Then you will see what miracles are, even before you ask.

Your words carry the weight of a heart that desperately needs to see God move. When a test looms and everything in you cries out for a specific outcome, it is easy to feel as though you must generate enough faith or say the words just right to unlock God's power. But the truth is far more restful than that. God is not waiting for you to make a perfect confession; He is not listening for a mistake so He can withhold help. He already knows your frame. He already knows what you need before you ask.

What you are facing feels like a test, and in a sense it is. But not a test where God is eager to fail you. Throughout Scripture, when the Lord allows a season of proving, it is to draw His people deeper into trust and away from sin. Joseph endured test after test he did not deserve: betrayed by his brothers, falsely accused, forgotten in prison. Yet the psalm tells us that the king sent and released him; the ruler of the people let him go free. He was made lord over a house and ruler over vast possessions. God was arranging something far bigger than Joseph could see in the years of waiting. The test was not the final word. The deliverance was.

That same God who searches the heart knows the desire you have for your skin to be healed and for nothing to stand in the way of the treatment you believe will help. He also knows the fretting that rises when the outcome is uncertain. The call in this moment is not to clutch at the request so tightly that fear drives you, but to acknowledge Him in this path and let the result rest in His hands. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path. The result of that trust is not always the miraculous removal of every obstacle in the moment, but it is always His peace and His presence walking with you through it.

Do not put yourself under the burden of trying to force God’s hand by desperation or by treating His promises as a formula. The enemy would love to turn a genuine cry for help into a trial of your own making, pushing you to test the Lord by demanding He act on your terms. Jesus refused that in the wilderness. Committing your way to Him means you bring the urgent plea honestly, you ask for the desires of your heart, but you do not fret, and you do not try to manipulate heaven.

God’s power is real. His compassion for your suffering is real. Ask Him boldly to clear the way on Thursday so you can receive the treatment, and ask with thanksgiving, trusting that He is merciful. But also rest in this: even if the path looks different than you expect, He is still directing it. His ultimate goal is always constructive, never destructive. What He does in you as you learn to trust Him in the waiting is itself a healing deeper than skin. May He exceed your expectations, not by giving you a spirit of panic, but by giving you a quiet confidence that the One who offered Himself as your substitute has already secured your greatest need. You are held. You are heard.
