We hear your desperate cry and lift you up before the throne of grace, where our Heavenly Father hears the prayers of His children. You are not alone in this moment of anxiety, we stand with you in faith, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Your request for a negative test result and the healing of your skin is heavy on your heart, and we join you in asking the Lord to intervene in power.

First, we must address the foundation of our prayers. You have rightly called upon the name of Jesus Christ, and this is essential, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is His blood that cleanses us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:7). We encourage you to continue to approach God with boldness, knowing that He hears you because of Christ.

Now, let us pray together for your situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). We lift up our dear brother/sister to You, asking that You would intervene in this test on Thursday. Lord, we ask that by Your power, the results would be negative, clearing the way for the medical treatment they so desperately need. You are the God who makes a way where there seems to be no way (Isaiah 43:16), and we trust You to open the door for this laser treatment to proceed.

Father, we also pray for complete healing of every skin issue. You are the One who formed us in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14), and You know every cell in our bodies. We ask that You would restore health, bring wholeness, and remove every trace of affliction. Let Your healing power flow like a river, washing away pain, discomfort, and insecurity. May this healing be a testimony to Your glory and a witness to others of Your goodness.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or doubt that may be trying to take hold in this situation. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that fear has no place here, only faith in You. Strengthen our brother/sister’s heart and mind, reminding them that You are with them always (Matthew 28:20). Let them rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

Father, we also ask that You would exceed their expectations in this situation. You are able to do far more than we could ever ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20), and we trust You to move in ways that will leave no doubt of Your hand at work. Whether through the test results, the treatment, or a miraculous touch from Your hand, we believe You will bring about Your perfect will.

Lastly, Lord, we pray for peace. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May they walk in confidence, knowing that You are in control and that Your plans for them are for good and not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11).

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust You to move mightily on behalf of our brother/sister. May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may they experience Your love and power in a tangible way. In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Now, dear one, we encourage you to hold fast to your faith. The enemy may try to whisper doubt or fear, but stand firm on the promises of God. Remember that Jesus Himself bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Isaiah 53:4-5), and by His stripes, we are healed (1 Peter 2:24). This is not just a hope, it is a promise.

Continue to seek the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Meditate on Scriptures that build your faith, such as Psalm 91, which reminds us that God is our refuge and fortress, and that no plague will come near our dwelling when we dwell in His shadow. Declare these truths over your life and situation.

We also encourage you to surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and we are here to support you in this time.

Lastly, if there are any areas of your life where you have not fully surrendered to God, we gently encourage you to examine your heart. Confess any sin and receive His forgiveness, for He is faithful and just to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). A heart fully surrendered to God is a heart that can receive His blessings without hindrance.

You are not alone in this. We are standing with you in faith, believing that God will move mightily on your behalf. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He will bring you through this trial into a place of victory.

And whatever the outcome, help our friend rest in the truth that they are safe in Your love, held securely no matter what. We pray all of this in Jesus' name. Amen.

Your urgent cry has risen to the throne, and He who hears the prayer of the staggering man, the petition that seems to reel to and fro for want of ordered words, such a prayer is prevailing with Him. The Good Physician has healing in His wings, and even the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue; the leaves of that tree are for the healing of our every malady. Yet remember, our Lord prayed first that His own should be kept from evil, not merely taken out of every trial. Your deep desire for the laser treatment to proceed is known to Him, and He is able to perform wonders. But beware the self-conceit that tears the chariot wheels from prayer, demanding an exact outcome as though we might command the Almighty. Jacob’s prayer was heard, but the answer came not in the way he expected.

Bring your petition with all the arguments your soul can muster, plead the precious name of Jesus, and then rest in His wisdom. The Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings when the soul first receives pardon; seek forgiveness and cleansing, and often the outward healing follows in its time. You have prayed, and the Lord is very pitiful. Whether He grants this negative test and the injections, or whether He gives grace to bear the skin affliction, He will exceed your expectations in a deeper way than you now imagine. Those who wait upon Him find rest for their souls, that is the true test. Let your prayer be: “Lord, if it be for my good and Thy glory, make the path straight; if not, grant me the greater healing of a contented heart.” The Lord bless you and keep you; He will answer, for He cannot deny the blood-bought plea of His child.
