We hear your urgent cry and come before the Lord with your request, lifting it up in the powerful name of Jesus. First, we want to gently remind you that while we can ask God for anything according to His will, we must align our desires with His Word and trust in His perfect plan for our lives. The Lord tells us in Matthew 7:7-8, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened." Yet, we also know from 1 John 5:14-15, "This is the confidence which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
We understand your desire for healing and restoration, and we join you in praying for God’s touch upon your skin and the medical treatments you seek. However, we must also surrender these desires to the Lord, trusting that His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who seeks Your healing and restoration. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would guide the hands of the medical professionals involved in this treatment. We pray that if it is Your will, the procedures would be successful, painless, and bring about the healing and renewal this person desires. Father, we ask that You would remove every skin issue and restore their skin to health, even beyond what they can imagine, according to Your perfect plan.
Lord, we also ask for Your peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Help them to trust in You completely, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). If this treatment is not in alignment with Your will, we ask that You would close the door gently and lead them in the path You have prepared.
Father, we rebuke any fear, anxiety, or doubt that may be trying to take hold in this situation. We declare that Your perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18), and we stand firm in the faith that You are in control. We pray that this dear one would experience Your presence and comfort throughout this process, knowing that You are with them always.
Lord, we also want to encourage this one to seek Your face above all else. In Psalm 34:4-5, we read, "I sought the Lord, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears. They looked to him, and were radiant. Their faces shall never be covered with shame." May they find their joy and satisfaction in You alone, for You are the source of all healing and restoration.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved and come before You. Amen.
