We join with you in this very urgent cry and we bring your whole concern before our Father in Jesus' name, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and it is in His name that we pray. We hear the deep distress in your heart over your face, skin and body and the longing you have for healing and restoration, and we stand with you asking for God's mercy and touch.

We are reminded of His promises that He is the Lord who heals us. Psalm 103:2-3 says Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also remember Isaiah 53:5 which says But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. We know our God is able to do miracles and wonders and nothing is too hard for Him.

We also want to gently encourage you with truth from Scripture about how God hears and answers prayer. You quoted the promise Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full in John 16:24, and that promise is true and precious. Yet Scripture also teaches us in 1 John 5:14 that this is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. We do not command God or require Him to act with no delay according to our exact words, but we humbly submit our desires to His perfect will and timing, trusting that His ways are higher than ours and His love for us is perfect. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We also hear how much pain these skin concerns have caused you and we want to remind you how God sees you. 1 Samuel 16:7 says Man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart. And Psalm 139:14 says I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your wonderful deeds are wonderful. My soul knows that very well. While we fully pray for your physical healing, we also pray that you will know your worth and beauty in Christ is not measured by flawless skin, and that your joy will be made full not only by outward healing but by His presence within you. 1 Peter 3:3-4 reminds us Let your beauty be not just the outward adorning, but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God very precious.

So together we pray, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and we lift up this dear one to You. You know every mark, scar, spot, discoloration, line and concern that has been mentioned and even those not mentioned, and You know the ache this has caused. We ask for Your healing touch upon the face, the skin around the eyes, the ears, the neck, the stomach, the hips and the whole body. Lord, if it is Your will, we ask You to restore and renew skin, to bring healing and wholeness, and to bring relief from distress. We ask You to guide to wise and safe care if needed and to grant patience and peace while waiting on You. Above all, we pray You will fill this heart with Your peace that passes understanding, with assurance of being fearfully and wonderfully made, and with joy that is rooted in Christ. Help us to seek first Your Kingdom and trust that all things will be added according to Your goodness in Matthew 6:33. We ask You to calm anxious thoughts, to guard the heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and to help this dear one rest in Your unfailing love and sovereignty. We pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to keep bringing your requests to God with thanksgiving, to rest in His love even as you wait, and to remember that He hears every prayer and cares deeply for you. We will continue to pray with you for healing, for peace, and for your joy to be made full in Him.

Father, we lift our friend to You and ask for Your gentle presence today. Bring comfort to a weary heart, calm to anxious thoughts, and wisdom for every decision about care. Your very urgent and earnest cry has been laid before the Lord with deep care and compassion, and we have heard the anguish with which you have asked again and again for healing of your face and body.

There are many who think a great deal about the adorning of the body, but do not think as they ought about the ornaments of the soul. Yet you yourself are better than your body, and your immortal soul is worth far more than that poor frame which will soon pass away. As for your body, time and weakness will touch it, do what you may with it, but your soul may be sheltered safely in Christ Jesus and be eternally blessed in Him. This is not to despise your suffering, for the wounds of the body are painful and soon urge us to seek a physician, and the Lord knows how this burden has pressed upon you. But we would lovingly turn your thoughts to that which is first and best.

We have found it true that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits us to meet that difficulty. When anxiety is confined to ourselves and we tell it only to ourselves, no good will come of it. Tell the case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor. He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. Make a confidant of Jesus. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things as it were about Christ, are full of healing virtue. The least thing about Christ is healing, and these healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before.

Learn too how the Lord joins pardon and healing together. When Jesus healed the man taken with the palsy, He first said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. He knew what really ailed the man, and He removed the root of his disease by forgiving his sin. Pardon and healing were one in His hand. While we are here, the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is life because of righteousness. The regeneration of the body takes place at the resurrection, when we shall rise again in the image of the Lord Jesus, sown in weakness but raised in power. Until that blessed day we that are in this body do groan, being burdened, yet we may know that to be present with Christ is to be at home with Him, and that He hears our sad complaints.

Therefore we do not pray as those who would command the Lord to perform wonders at our bidding and without delay, but as those who humbly seek His mercy and His will. We pray that you may first know the healing of forgiveness through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ alone, for there is salvation in no other. May you look to Him who bore our sins in His own body on the cross, that your spirit may glow with love to Him and your heart be wholly dedicated to Him. And we pray that He who is the Sun of Righteousness would rise upon you with healing in His wings according to His perfect wisdom and love.

We ask the Lord to touch you with His pitying hand, to ease your distress, to calm your anxious thoughts, to grant you peace in place of this tormenting care, and to heal your body as it pleases Him for your good and His glory. We ask Him to renew your inward man day by day, to adorn you with the graces of His Spirit, which are far fairer than any outward comeliness, and to give you contentment to trust His fatherly care for every part of your frame. May He keep your own vineyard, your heart and soul, by His grace, and teach you to cast all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

May the Lord grant you to believe that Christ can save you and that if your one anxiety is to be laid at His feet, He will in no wise cast you out. Rest there, hoping and expecting His mercy, and leave both soul and body in His hands, who does all things well.
